Chapter 3139: A Bold Plan (4)

According to Jing Zhihai’s plan, he intended to let the campsite’s soldiers rest for two days before sending a scout to gain intelligence on the demon tribe’s base.

After ascertaining Sky Devil Rui Xuan’s injury, then he would ask those Commanders over to discuss a strategy in detail, then proceed to sneak an attack.

Moreover, he wouldn’t bring a lot of men along. He only intended to get a small team of at most 500 people. They were equivalent to the suicide squad while the majority of the troops remained in the campsite.

In this way, even if the sneak attack failed, the entire campsite’s losses wouldn’t be too serious.

Now, hearing Huang Yueli’s plan made Jing Zhihai tremble from head to toe!

Huang Yueli was so bold to this extent, totally not giving herself any backup plan and staking everyone into one throw!

Such a resolute command would either mean that she was extremely confident about her judgment or she was purely blindly commanding!

In Jing Zhihai’s mind, Huang Yueli was absolutely the latter!

His lips curled into a cold smile. He didn’t expect this Li Yuehuang to give him a handle to grab so quickly!

He instantly said loudly, “Commander Li, your analysis is indeed not wrong. But aren’t you a little too rash to abruptly mobilize the troops like this? Perhaps you’re still a freshman in the allied armies, so you don’t know that the most basic thing in combat is preparation!”

“Now, the campsite’s soldiers had just escaped near-death and most of them are still very weak. However, you don’t even let them recuperate for a couple of days. So how do you expect them to have the energy to fight?”

“You didn’t even send any scouts out, how do you know what the demon tribe’s situation is right now? You just run over knocking on their doors to commit suicide?”

“Also, if the sneak attack fails, wouldn’t all of us die there? I can’t let my subordinates go dig their graves for nothing! Why not we do this? Commander Li can bring your own troops to sneak an attack on the demon tribe? Anyway, sneaking an attack is to catch the enemy off guard. The more people you bring, the worse the effect. We will guard the rear for you. In that way, if any accident were to happen, we will still be able to assist you, am I right?”

Jing Zhihai let out a delighted smile as he spoke, apparently assuming that his suggestion was excellent!

Huang Yueli’s expression instantly darkened!

“This fellow! Never mind if he doesn’t listen to my command. He intentionally said such thing to waver the other Commanders’ determination!”

Jing Zhihai’s plan was very sneaky.

He asked Huang Yueli to lead a few teams to sneak an attack, so the possibility of failure was very high.

As for himself, he would lead his men to guard the campsite, giving it a glorified name as guarding the rear.

In this way, if Huang Yueli’s sneak attack was successful, he would earn credit for protecting the campsite!

But if it ended up in failure? He, Jing Zhihai would be seen as having good foresight. He would say that he saw a loophole in Huang Yueli’s plan and saved the lifeforce of the campsite.

Moreover, he even gave a specious argument, in an attempt to waver the others.

The other Commanders actually felt that he made sense and voiced out to support him.

“Commander Li, I feel that… Commander Jing’s plan seems a little more secure…”

“That’s right. We are mainly responsible for protecting the campsite, and not killing the Sky Devil. So I think it’s better not to take such a huge risk.”

“Now the demon tribe might be weak, then our pressure would become smaller, right? Perhaps our reinforcements would arrive in another two days, and we can easily be saved. It indeed doesn’t seem too suitable to go on the initiative to strike them now…”
