Chapter 140: Massacre

The whole palace was under high alert, as the guards and the captain were not weak. So if someone could really make them that vulnerable, one could imagine the enemies were not weak either.

Inside the palace, the guards of the second line of defense were talking among themselves.

”Who the fuck has gone crazy to directly attack the palace?” asked one guard to another.

The other one shook his head. ”Don’t know. Probably someone wanted to commit suicide, but then decided to die a heroic death.”

The both of them started laughing.

”But his family would also vanish with him for this sin.”

”Yeah.”

Amelia was slowly approaching.

One by one, body after body was falling in her path. There was a river of blood.

The commotion was getting stronger.

She was only killing those who were attacking her on the way. Those who were fleeing, she didn’t chase after them.

Seven minutes later, she reached the inner region of the estate where the second line of defense was placed.

Every guard in the 2nd layer was now in the full battle mode. The two guards who were laughing were also in a fighting position now.

They didn’t think the killer would be able to reach near their base.

When they saw the killer, they couldn’t help but widen their eyes.

It was just a fragile-looking woman. She was killing people like chopping grass. Her feet never stopped walking, not even once.

This second line of defense was created with martial artists at the Skin Refinement Realm, and the leader was a Bone Refinement martial artist.

Amelia cut down the leader like the first one—there was no difference.

When those two saw this, they ran away while screaming madly.

The palace had a total of five defense layers. The last layer was overseen by two Martial Saints.

Amelia had already breached the third layer in thirty minutes.

Now the whole palace was awakened. They were alerted.

Soon, Amelia also cleared the fourth layer. Over two hundred guards died in just fifty minutes.

She was approaching the fifth layer now.

One Martial Saint, the vice commander of the royal army, looked at the commander. ”Sir, do you think she can beat us too? Clearing four layers in fifty minutes is a huge matter. I don’t think I can do that.”

The commander was a middle-aged man in his early forties.

He had a deep scar on his face and was a two-meter-tall man.

He was also looking forward. When he heard his vice commander’s question—who was also a Martial Saint—he just replied with one sentence.

”We will see about that.”

He had absolute confidence in his skills and experience. Even if a top Martial Saint appeared in front of him, he wouldn’t even bat an eyelid.

Soon, all the guards and the two saints saw a woman walking toward them. Her face couldn’t be seen properly.

But something about this woman felt really off.

The commander thought to himself. Yes, he was one of the king’s closest friends, and he was among those seven people who raped Amelia.

So when he saw her, she seemed oddly familiar, but his brain just couldn’t recall the person.

It had already been eighty years since that incident. He had destroyed so many women’s lives that he couldn’t even remember the number.

When Amelia saw the commander, for the first time, her bloodlust got out of control.

The bloodlust of a ghost was tremendous—especially when the ghost was actually as powerful as Amelia.

The horrendous bloodlust made everyone freeze in place. Their bodies simply gave up in fear.

Each one of them was an Innate Realm martial artist in the fifth layer of defense.

But the bloodlust was too overwhelming to bear for them.

Even the two saints were paralyzed. The commander could only shout once.

”Help!”

Then even his tongue gave off.

Amelia vanished and appeared right in front of the commander.

She didn’t teleport—just her normal speed was something those people couldn’t see.

She removed the hoodie for the first time.

As soon as the commander saw that face, every cell of his body screamed danger.

He knew this face very clearly.

For seven days, they tortured her in that mountain.

It was all part of the prince’s plan. Besides, Amelia was from the Sillon family after all. There was no way they could forget her face.

Amelia grabbed his neck and lifted him into the air.

The neck was about to break. The commander, Seth, tried to say something.

”The king ordered us to do that. Please forgive me.”

But Amelia didn’t listen to anything.

She just grabbed his penis with the other hand and tore it off along with the balls.

Seth was screaming like hell, but Amelia didn’t stop.

She put her hand on his chest and dipped it inside his body, breaking off the ribs. Then she took out the organs one by one.

Then she caught the trachea and pulled it out.

The trachea came out with the lungs from the chest cavity.

The guards were watching this. Though they had their fair share of seeing blood and battle, this type of extreme violence was something else for them.

Some couldn’t even keep their senses intact and collapsed on the ground.

After finishing off Seth, Amelia looked at the vice commander and chopped his head off with a single blow.

She didn’t want to waste time with others.

But then thirteen more powerful auras, at the level of the commander, appeared in front of her.

They were the thirteen Martial Saints of the castle.

The royal family had seven saints eighty years ago, and all seven of the rapists had somehow become Martial Saints later. Among them, the crown prince—or the present king—was also here.

And the vice commander was only a new saint the royal army had hired.

Amelia was standing there. Her long hair was floating in the air.

When those six saw Amelia—even the other old saints—their eyes were wide open.

One of those six rapists asked in a cracking voice,

”How can this be? How are you alive?”

Amelia didn’t reply. She wasn’t here to ask or answer questions. Only to kill.
