Chapter 138: Amelia’s past

The vampire and his two ghost servants were gone now.

Ethan didn’t want the citizens to live a life full of fear, so he sent a message to everyone in the town through his mind.

”I am Ethan Hunt, a cultivator from the Overlord Sect. The demon of this town is gone now. You can live without fear.”

Then he remembered—the vampire had probably created a cult or something, where hundreds of men wore the same types of robes.

So he used the Supreme Law of Karma and the Supreme Law of Fate to find out where this cult was.

Soon, he got their location. Ethan immediately teleported there and saw that there were hundreds of people. Different groups were performing different rituals.

There were many captive women and children too.

Ethan simply covered the entire area and caught every one of them, then used Eyes of Destruction.

Everyone was vaporized instantly.

Then he used a healing skill to heal all the captives and freed them.

Those captives never knew who saved them that day. It would always remain a mystery to them—a good mystery.

Ethan finished everything he needed to do here.

Then he teleported to where Amelia was.

As soon as Amelia saw him, she bowed to him.

”Master.”

Ethan nodded. ”We are done here. Now let’s go and take your vengeance. Where were you from exactly? Tell me all the details from your past if you can.”

When Amelia heard that Ethan was going to get revenge for her, unknowingly a drop of tear fell from her eyes.

She then said, ”I was from the Sillon family in the Kingdom of Orindale. My family was a Duke family. Our family had seven Martial Saints. We were the strongest family on par with the royal family.

One day, the king came personally to our house and proposed a marriage alliance between our two families. Everyone was naturally happy. I was also happy.

The Crown Prince was very charming and a heroic person.

So everything was going smoothly, but one day, Crown Prince Leonard Von Orindale came to our house and called me. I went to him. He was my hero—every girl’s dream in the kingdom. He told me that he found the cave of a cultivator and that there might be a way to become a cultivator. He wanted me to go with him on this journey.

I was very happy that my fiancé was willing to share such a great secret with me.

I didn’t tell anyone from my family, not even my parents, as the prince said he didn’t want anyone other than us to know.”

Amelia stopped. She gave a very sad smile.

”I was too naive. Too easy to manipulate. I told my family that I was going to a friend’s house that day.

Then we left that day. On that journey, six of the Crown Prince’s friends also tagged along. I knew them. They were the sons of different Counts and Earls.

I was surprised, as the prince told me only he and I knew about this. But my trust in that man was absolute. I didn’t ask him anything.

Then he took me to the Black Mount Range forest after ten days of nonstop journey.

Only then did I see the real face of that monster.

He and his six friends looked at me like some wolves looking at a piece of meat.

My instincts immediately kicked in for immense danger and I started running, but they were all martial artists. The prince was even an Innate Realm martial artist.

I was no match for them. They caught me.

The prince told me, with a cruel and mocking looks on his face, that I was a toad who wanted to swallow the meat of a swan.

Then for seven whole days, they violated me. Nonstop, one after another, sometimes together.

My inner self died on the very first day, but my body didn’t. They would use healing medicine every three hours.

After seven days, their thirst was fulfilled. They left me there for the monsters to eat my body.

And soon, the monsters attacked me. I wasn’t angry at those beasts but at those monsters in human skin. The tremendous hatred and agony didn’t even let me die in peace. I became a ghost. But I couldn’t leave the area of the mountain range. For eighty years, I was entrapped in that forsaken place. Then you came, Master, and rescued me from that hell.”

Amelia was crying.

Ethan’s eyes were cold. The crime he hated with every fiber of his body was rape. In his previous world, rape was a common thing. The victims, in most cases, never got true justice. He wanted to bring justice to them, but he had no power nor authority. The world was corrupted.

But in this life, he was the absolute ruler. He would uphold justice for anyone he deemed worthy.

So Amelia would surely get her justice.

Ethan said in a cold voice, ”Let’s go.”

Ethan scanned her memory and got the location of the Kingdom of Orindale.

They vanished from there and reappeared in the kingdom.

Ethan covered the entire kingdom with his mental domain.

There were some powerful auras in the inner region of the kingdom.

Level 9 Master-level auras. They were the Martial Saints of the kingdom.

Ethan didn’t immediately go on a rampage. He first asked Amelia where the Sillon family was located.

Amelia told him the location.

They went there on foot. Two hours later, they reached the place of the Sillon family. But the family wasn’t there anymore. The area bore the insignia of the royal family, stating the property now belonged to them.

Ethan could guess what might have happened. The Sillon family was either destroyed or had probably left the country. The former was more likely happened.

As Amelia had told him that they had power on par with the royal family, it was likely the royal family had taken action and destroyed them.Though it needed to be confirmed first.

Ethan looked at Amelia to see her reaction.

She had a cold look on her face. She wasn’t crying loudly, but immense anger was radiating from her body.

She had probably guessed what might have happened as well.

Ethan said, ”Let’s find out what happened first. Then we will visit the royal family.”

It was still night. So they went to a restaurant and ordered some food.

The waiter brought them food and Ethan gave him two gold coins.

Instantly, the waiter changed from his usual look to a fawning expression. He also understood that the customer wanted something, that much was clear.

Ethan said, ”Okay, let’s go straight to the point. Do you know any information about the Sillon family?”

As soon as Ethan said the name, the color drained from the waiter’s face, and he turned pale. He had already taken the money, but the topic was taboo. If he spoke about it and the royal family got wind of this, he and his entire family would die. It would be a public execution.

Ethan saw the tremendous fear on his face and covered them with his mental barrier.

He then spoke into his mind,

”I am a cultivator. There is no need to be afraid of anything. Nobody will know, and even if they did, nothing will happen to you.”
