Let’s Squander A Billion First!

Chapter 941: Chapter 941: A Day as a Teacher (10)

What kind of nonsense can a few bad students write in a 5000-word self-criticism?

Chuzheng looked at the writing and felt her head spinning.

Was this written by a dog?

Even a dog’s scrawl looks better than this.

So the four-member class tyrant group that just finished their self-criticisms received a calligraphy lesson from Teacher Ruan.

The four-member class tyrant group: ”...”

Boo hoo hoo, they swear they won’t fight again.

The weather was getting hotter, and the semester was coming to an end.

As soon as the holidays started, Su He vanished without a trace. Since the original owner’s home was at that Vampire aunt’s place, Chuzheng didn’t plan on going back either.

Chuzheng felt much more relaxed after the holidays started.

The tasks from King’s Account weren’t very many either, mostly just small tasks.

In each world, her identity was different, and the task amounts would vary as well.

The King’s Account wouldn’t have her, a teacher, buy a building.

This damn system was pretty impressive.

[Miss Sister, if you’re going to praise me, praise me. Why do you have to insult me too?] protested the King’s Account.

”I feel like it, bite me.”

[Only dogs bite.] muttered the King’s Account.

”Well, aren’t you a dog’s thing, a dog itself.”

[...]

Suddenly feeling the urge to self-destruct on the spot, taking Miss Sister with me.

Just as Chuzheng and the King’s Account were bickering, there was a sudden knock at the door.

Chuzheng glanced towards the door, wondering who could be visiting at this time.

Su He?

Su He had a key.

It couldn’t be her...

Knock knock.

The knocking persisted.

Chuzheng sat for almost a minute before getting up to open the door.

A man stood outside. He looked about her age, and Chuzheng recognized him immediately.

The actual person who always uses the original owner’s aunt as an excuse to ask for money.

The man showed no expression, appearing visibly displeased.

”Here’s the wedding invitation, make sure you come.” The man handed Chuzheng the invitation along with a box of wedding candies, then turned and left.

Chuzheng: ”...”

Only a fool would go.

Trying to scam me out of money again!

Chuzheng refused to attend the wedding. Her aunt didn’t dare come to confront her directly, instead calling her every few days from different people’s phones, and Chuzheng’s blacklist was already filled with phone numbers.

Because Chuzheng didn’t attend, her aunt was so enraged that she badmouthed her in front of other relatives, calling her an ungrateful brat.

Now every relative in the Ruan Family knew that she was an ungrateful brat.

Chuzheng the Ungrateful Brat: I am a wolf without feelings, but not ungrateful.

-

Two months of summer vacation flew by in an instant.

On the first day of school, Chuzheng headed to school right on time.

Many people were already arriving at school to register, including a significant number of new students.

”Teacher Ruan, do you have a moment?” a neighboring teacher asked her.

”No,” Chuzheng replied without even lifting her head.

”Can you take this to the principal for me? I can’t leave, please,” the neighboring teacher insisted, ignoring Chuzheng’s refusal.

Though some teachers banded together with Su He, there were others who didn’t get involved.

Since Chuzheng’s personality change, she appeared cold and cool, frequently responding with ’no,’ ’don’t have,’ ’won’t,’ yet sometimes she still helped solve problems.

Chuzheng delivered the item to the office, and because the principal was not there, she simply placed it on his desk.

She was about to leave when the principal entered with another teacher.

”Ah, Ruan, you’re just in time.”

The principal called her back into the office: ”Ruan, I’ve heard that the class discipline in your 18th class is quite remarkable?”

”It’s okay,” Chuzheng humbly replied.

”Hahaha, we initially thought you were too young and easy-going, and that you wouldn’t be able to manage those mischievous kids. But it turns out your class discipline is actually the best,” the principal subtly replaced ’easy-going’ with ’push-over.’

”Uh-huh...”

So what’s the point?

Are you just praising me?

The principal continued his self-talk for a while.

Chuzheng took it with minimal responses.

Finally, the principal got to the point.

”Here’s the thing, the homeroom teacher for our high school’s 22nd class resigned due to personal reasons, and we’re missing a homeroom teacher now. Ruan, would you consider taking that position?”

Being a homeroom teacher is exhausting!

Remember Old Wang!

”No, I don’t want to be called Bald Old Ruan by those troublesome kids!”

Understanding high school juniors are not easy to handle, the principal knew Chuzheng, a relatively new teacher, would find it challenging.

But the principal didn’t plan on giving up, launching into a passionate speech about the importance of self-challenge for young people.

Am I not challenging myself by attempting to spend everything I earn at top speed every day?

He continued about how this was a test from the organization, and taking charge of a senior class would lead to future promotion and pay raises.

The issue is, I don’t need a promotion or raise. I want to quit.

The principal was a skilled orator, and even though Chuzheng wasn’t entirely convinced, she was nonetheless agitated by his speech.

”So it’s settled then. Ruan, best of luck, the school believes in you.”

”???”

I didn’t agree!

The principal pretended to take a call and promptly exited the office.

Damn!

Is this even allowed?

Is it appropriate for a poor soul, just starting in the workforce and yet to be weathered by society, to shoulder such a heavy responsibility!

-

The high school’s 22nd class had just moved up from year two, and the third year was a critical time.

Chuzheng, feeling far from happy, carried her things down the corridor.

The four-member class tyrant group called out to her from their window perch: ”Teacher Ruan, Teacher Ruan.”

”What?”

”Are you still teaching our class?” Class Tyrant Number Two asked, ”I heard you’re going to teach the seniors.”

”No.” As the senior class teacher and homeroom teacher, she wouldn’t have classes in other grades.

The four-member class tyrant group seemed relieved, or perhaps something else.

No more suffering under Teacher Ruan.

They would finally see happy days.

”Teacher Ruan, let me tell you, that senior class 22 is very hard to manage. Do you know what happened to their last homeroom teacher?” Class Tyrant Number Three shared a piece of gossip.

”What happened?”

Class Tyrant Number Three whispered mysteriously: ”The students gave them such a hard time that they had to leave.”

Chuzheng: ”...”

So ruthless?

”Be careful, Teacher Ruan.”

In different school levels, teachers naturally wouldn’t be in the same buildings, so Chuzheng knew nothing about the senior classes.

Suddenly feeling very anxious.

Chuzheng found the high school’s 22nd class and looked in from outside the classroom.

The classroom was quite quiet.

Granted, there were only a few people inside.

Other classes were full by this time, yet this one had only a handful of students.

So many latecomers on the first day of school, impressive!

Chuzheng first checked the slightly opened classroom door to ensure no prank traps awaited.

She pushed the door open and entered, and the students inside glanced up at her before lowering their heads again, ignoring her completely.

Chuzheng: ”...”

Chuzheng stood at the podium: ”Where are the others?”

”Teacher, asking us won’t help, you have to ask those who didn’t come,” someone replied, speaking calmly but with evident sarcasm.

Chuzheng wasn’t upset, just asked: ”What are you doing?”

The boy who spoke earlier responded again: ”Playing games.”

Chuzheng walked over: ”What game?”

”PUBG.”
