Let’s Squander A Billion First!

Chapter 932: Chapter 932: A Day as a Teacher (1)

”I’m telling you, if you don’t hand over the money, I’ll go to your workplace and make a scene.”

Chuzheng opened her eyes and saw a somewhat sharp and sour face.

This face belonged to a woman.

At this moment, the woman was pointing at her and yelling.

”What are you staring at? All these years, I’ve fed you and clothed you, and now when I ask for some money, you make it so difficult.”

Not knowing what was going on, Chuzheng didn’t make a sound.

The woman let out a cold snort.

”You better get the money together quickly, or you’ll face the consequences. I’ll come for it in a few days. Do you hear me, dead girl!”

After dropping those words, the woman left in a fury.

Squeak—

A young woman leaned against the door, observing the room before stepping out once she confirmed it was empty.

The young woman frowned slightly, with a hint of lecturing in her tone: ”I’m telling you, Teacher Ruan, your aunt comes every few days; she scares me so much I don’t dare to come back. This can’t go on, you’d better resolve it soon.”

”Hmm.”

Chuzheng examined the room.

This was the living room, not very large.

Beside it was the bathroom.

Aside from the room the young woman emerged from, there was only one other room left.

Chuzheng turned and went into that room.

Chuzheng closed the door and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

-

The original owner’s surname was Ruan.

She lost her parents when she was young and was raised by her uncle and aunt.

Living in someone else’s house for years, the original owner grew up with a somewhat timid personality.

But she did well for herself, graduating from university and becoming a teacher at a public school.

This was a secure job.

However, her aunt frequently asked her for money.

The original owner felt indebted to her aunt and uncle for raising her, actually sending them money every month.

But her aunt was obviously not satisfied.

What could the original owner do? She basically handed over her salary to her aunt every month.

Her aunt’s son was getting married, and the bride’s family demanded a dowry of 100,000 yuan.

Her aunt came again asking for money from the original owner.

The original owner had already given them her money, so how could she have any left?

Because of this, her aunt directly caused a scene at the school.

In front of so many teachers and school leaders, she claimed they had a hard time raising her and sending her to college, and now she wouldn’t return the favor.

The original owner felt humiliated.

The original owner scraped together money and managed to give her aunt 30,000 yuan.

This was the most she could do.

Her aunt was dissatisfied but didn’t want to push her too far all at once.

Her aunt still asked her for money every month. The original owner had to repay debts and give them money, pushed to exhaustion.

She could only work part-time tutoring students.

At first, it was quite profitable.

But this was not allowed by the school, even if those students weren’t from the school.

This violated the education board’s regulations.

The original owner didn’t know who reported her to the school; though she wasn’t fired, she was reprimanded and penalized.

Not long after this incident, her aunt started arranging dates for her.

The original owner didn’t want to date, but her aunt kept pushing.

She had to go, met two or three guys but felt nothing.

Her aunt was very invested in this matter, constantly arranging meetings.

The original owner went on a date one day, feeling low and sleep deprived, mistakenly identified the date.

Then, as if out of a soap opera, the two interacted back and forth and ended up together for real.

When her aunt found out about this, she initially objected but changed her mind when she learned the man’s family was well-off, supporting her and stopped asking for money.

The original owner thought she had finally found her true love.

They talked about marriage and progressed very quickly.

But unexpectedly, in the end, the man ended up with her roommate.

The roommate was even unapologetic.

The original owner also found out that the incident where she tutored students was reported by the roommate.

After the roommate confronted her, she moved out.

Not only that, but she also slandered her reputation among teachers.

Accused her of messing around outside because of financial desperation.

No matter if these rumors were true, as long as they’re spread by enough people, they would become the truth.

Eventually, the matter reached the students.

The school dismissed her due to the negative impact.

Without even a chance to explain the truth.

The original owner lost her love and her job, yet before she could recover, her aunt came to her again, continuing to ask for money.

Her aunt’s daughter-in-law giving birth needed money.

Her aunt’s son buying a car needed money.

Need money.

Need money.

Aside from asking for money, it was still asking for money.

The original owner overheard her aunt discussing plans to marry her off to a man who was somewhat disabled and couldn’t find a partner.

Her aunt even accepted the dowry money from the man’s family.

The original owner couldn’t take it anymore and committed suicide by taking sleeping pills.

-

Chuzheng finished processing the memories and silently let out a breath.

What a terrifying life.

Her aunt was completely like a Vampire.

Aiming to drain every last drop of blood from the original owner.

The current plot was still early.

It had just progressed to the point where her aunt was asking the original owner for money for her son’s dowry.

One could say the original owner was driven to her death by her aunt.

Pitiful.

Chuzheng sighed.

Better pity myself.

Chuzheng rubbed her arms, examining the room.

The room wasn’t large; after placing a bed and wardrobe, along with a desk, there wasn’t much Space left.

This apartment was arranged by the school; she joined the school with her roommate Su He, and since there were two girls, they were placed in this two-bedroom apartment.

Su He was the roommate who later stole the original owner’s boyfriend.

Chuzheng shook her head.

Casually flipping through the items on the desk.

The desk held various books, teaching plans, and students’ assignments, with an open laptop to one side.

The original owner had excellent grades; if conditions had allowed, she would have continued studying, not just teaching.

The original owner currently taught high school Chinese.

The thought of going to teach made Chuzheng’s scalp tingle.

Better quit.

It was such a delightful decision!

[Miss, I don’t recommend resigning.]

Why?

[You know why.]

I don’t know!

I don’t want to know!

I’m just a child!

Chuzheng fell onto the bed and rolled over.

Aaaaahhhhh!!

-

Knock knock.

The door made two sounds, and Su He directly pushed it open and came in.

Chuzheng was already sitting on the edge of the bed, reading a book like a boss.

Su He stood at the doorway, not planning to come in: ”Teacher Ruan, let me use your computer for a while.”

”No.”

”Isn’t that it?” Su He looked at the laptop on the desk, deciding to come in herself to take it: ”I just need to use it quickly, why are you being so stingy?”

Chuzheng put down her book, walked over, and pressed down on the laptop: ”Not lending.”

Su He raised an eyebrow, seemingly surprised and doubtful.

Then Su He figured it out.

”Teacher Ruan, what’s wrong with you? Your aunt upset you, but don’t take it out on me, alright?”

Chuzheng, who was slightly taller than Su He, looked down at her with a somewhat domineering air: ”My stuff, whether I want to lend it, I lend it; if not, then I won’t. Why care about me.”

Su He burst into an amused anger: ”We’re all colleagues, I urgently need it now, can’t you lend me yours for a while?”

Chuzheng pulled the laptop away, fingers releasing.

The laptop fell to the ground, and the screen shattered directly.

”Now it’s gone.”

”...”
