Invincible Soul Emperor

Chapter 736: Chapter 736 Fainted

”Miss, even so, you must still be careful.” Uncle Wang couldn’t help but glance at Xiao Xiao, a hint of worry stirring in his heart.

”Uncle Wang, you’re being far too suspicious,” Zheng Xiao scoffed. ”Enough. Just go. You’re not needed here.” She hadn’t finished scolding Xiao Xiao yet and didn’t want Uncle Wang getting in the way.

Seeing this, Uncle Wang could only nod and walk away.

”Zheng Xiao,” Xiao Xiao said with a smirk as she watched Uncle Wang leave, ”do you have any idea what position you’re in?”

Zheng Xiao’s brow furrowed. ”You little bitch! Did you think I was being too nice to you? Let me tell you, take this money and get lost! Don’t be an eyesore!”

The next second, Xiao Xiao vaulted toward the wall. Zheng Xiao watched her smugly, assuming her scolding had scared Xiao Xiao away. However, once in mid-air, Xiao Xiao erected a barrier over the courtyard!

”You little bitch! What do you think you’re doing?!” Seeing the barrier, Zheng Xiao immediately felt a sense of grave danger.

Xiao Xiao landed and snorted coldly at Zheng Xiao. ”What am I doing? I told you I’d make you pay. Now, I’m here to keep my word.”

Her words were devoid of emotion, and Zheng Xiao, inexplicably, broke into a cold sweat.

”Let me tell you, don’t think for a second I’m afraid of you!” Zheng Xiao blustered. ”Don’t underestimate me! I’m a third-level Martial Emperor! I’ve just been injured, so my movements are a little stiff, that’s all! If you dare to touch me, I won’t show any mercy!” As she spoke, a long Purple Whip materialized in her hand.

However, Xiao Xiao paid her threats no mind. ”We’ll see who’s truly merciless.”

The next second, Xiao Xiao’s body blurred as she rushed toward Zheng Xiao. Startled by the sudden move, Zheng Xiao reacted quickly, wielding her long whip.

CRACK! CRACK!

The sounds of the whip cracked through the silent courtyard, each strike louder than the last. Her Whip Technique wasn’t fast, but it was incredibly powerful.

Xiao Xiao chuckled coldly and flashed to the side, easily avoiding the strike.

Zheng Xiao’s next few attacks also missed. Watching her opponent dodge every strike, she grew desperate and began lashing out wildly at Xiao Xiao. But just then, a powerful blast of wind struck her from behind, hurling her forward.

BANG!

Zheng Xiao’s body slammed heavily against the wall with a thunderous crash. The powerful impact sent a jolt of pain through her, and with it came a sudden realization.

That attack... it was from Xiao Xiao!

”You... you have the aura of the Demon Clan!” she exclaimed, turning to stare at Xiao Xiao in disbelief.

However, Xiao Xiao simply ignored her, instead walking forward coolly. Watching Zheng Xiao, her lips curled into a mocking smile. ”You seem to know quite a bit.”

Hearing this, Zheng Xiao’s heart sank. It’s just as I suspected!

”Since you’re from the Demon Clan, then it is my duty to kill you!” Zheng Xiao declared. The moment she finished speaking, she raised her hands. A massive surge of Spiritual Power erupted, gathering in her palms before she thrust them violently toward Xiao Xiao!

BOOM! BOOM!

A muffled explosion echoed as two massive spheres of Spiritual Power collided, creating a powerful shockwave that shredded the surrounding trees and sent shards of rock flying.

BANG!

With a tremor running through her arm from the impact, Zheng Xiao managed to push Xiao Xiao back. She immediately gathered her Spiritual Power again and lunged forward.

The difference in their strength was simply too vast. No matter how hard Zheng Xiao fought, she was no match for Xiao Xiao. But Zheng Xiao was far too proud and arrogant to believe she could possibly lose to her.

A ferocious look twisted her features as she condensed her Spiritual Power into a sharp longsword and swung it fiercely at Xiao Xiao!

Xiao Xiao’s eyes widened at the sight of the sharp blade, and she quickly dodged.

”Hmph!” Frustrated that her attack had missed, Zheng Xiao charged again in a rage. This time, she attacked with all her might, her speed far greater than before.

While Zheng Xiao’s speed increased, Xiao Xiao’s seemed to decrease. It looked as if Zheng Xiao would soon have her cornered.

Just as she was about to be backed against the wall, Xiao Xiao abruptly stopped. She slowly closed her eyes, clenched her fists, and then swung them out fiercely. A flash of red light instantly shot out from her fingertips.

Zheng Xiao’s face turned pale as she saw the red light rushing toward her, but the light seemed locked on, continuing its charge!

”Aaahhh!” Zheng Xiao screamed, scrambling backward. The red light, however, gave no quarter, relentlessly pursuing her.

Zheng Xiao’s pupils dilated as she watched the red light rush toward her. Her body was thrown backward.

THUD!

With a dull thud, she hit the ground, and the pursuing red light vanished into thin air.

Xiao Xiao sneered at the sight of Zheng Xiao crumpled on the ground. ”How could you possibly withstand the power of the Vermilion Bird Holy Soul? Zheng Xiao, I told you I’d make you pay!”

The attack had severely damaged Zheng Xiao’s vital energy. Though she had no external wounds, the energy blast had thrown her insides into chaos. Unwilling to show weakness, she struggled to her feet, trying hard to regulate the chaotic power within her.

”This is the Zheng Family estate! I will not let you get away with this!” she roared, once again swinging her Purple Whip and charging at Xiao Xiao.

However, Xiao Xiao vanished, leaving only an afterimage behind. By the time Zheng Xiao reacted, Xiao Xiao was already standing in front of her. Panicked, Zheng Xiao quickly retreated.

”Trying to escape?” Xiao Xiao chuckled, then lashed out with her right foot, aiming for Zheng Xiao’s chest.

Zheng Xiao hurriedly tried to dodge, but she had forgotten how weak she was. She couldn’t muster enough Spiritual Power to block the kick.

THWACK!

Xiao Xiao’s kick landed squarely on her stomach. The blow sent a churning wave of agony through her abdomen, and she immediately coughed up a spray of blood.

Watching Zheng Xiao spit blood, Xiao Xiao’s lips twisted into a dark sneer. ”Zheng Xiao, that kick was just a warning. It was for kicking my Young Master. But letting you off with just one kick is far too easy!”

After speaking, Xiao Xiao walked forward coolly, her eyes devoid of any emotion.

Zheng Xiao hadn’t expected Xiao Xiao to be so powerful. A single kick had left her severely injured. Clutching her stomach, she struggled to her feet. ”You... you...”

But before she could say more, a wave of dizziness washed over her.
