I’m really just an NPC

Chapter 11 Eastern Continent and Western Continent

Chapter 11 Eastern Continent and Western Continent

Lin Fan nodded, with an excited expression on his face: ”Yeah, okay, I live at No. 10, 13th Street, and we are not far away. I’ll go find you after I finish my work at night.”

Lin Fan was very happy to successfully get close to the boss, secretly thinking that the golden finger of rebirth is awesome.

When you get familiar with Broadcom, you can save some experience and money, and then you can learn a lot of basic and even advanced skills from Broadcom. This is definitely a perfect start.

Broadcom smiled and waved goodbye to Lin Fan.

But Lin Fan still wanted to increase his favorability, so he stopped Botong, and suddenly said mysteriously: ”Uncle Botong, I have a secret to tell you.”

Broadcom looked curious: ”What secret?”

Lin Fan got closer and whispered: ”Have you heard of the Eastern Continent? My grandfather came from the Eastern Continent. After the disaster happened, he regretted and sighed more than once, why didn’t he stay in the Eastern Continent. When my grandfather died I was young, but I still remember what he said to my dad.”

Lin Fan imitated the way the old man spoke, learning the way vividly,
”Oh, I knew how good it would be to stay in the Eastern Continent. The country and the government would protect us, and our lives would definitely be safer than now. Maybe your mother doesn’t have to die so early, and your wife can survive after giving birth, Lin Even this little guy can go to a good school, you are so strong, you can even be a big soldier in the army, and beat those monsters hard!”

After Lin Fan finished speaking, he looked at Broadcom expectantly, ”Uncle, tell me, is the Eastern Continent really that good? Is it possible for us to visit the Eastern Continent? Is there hope for the resurgence of human beings there?”

Broadcom looked at Lin Fan and was shocked, unable to speak for a long time.

The expression in his eyes changed from admiration to admiration, and finally raised Lin Fan to the level of forgetful friends and confidantes!

He felt that Lin Fan was like a roundworm in his stomach, and he knew very well what he was thinking.

This kind of character, this kind of thought, this kind of consciousness is definitely not just an ordinary rebel material, but a leader with a big picture and lofty ideals.

If this kid is given a chance, he can even grow into a founder like him!
Founder of the New Era.

After a long while, Broadcom breathed a sigh of relief, and looked at Lin Fan with great admiration: ”I know about the East Continent. My father also told me something similar to your grandfather. It should be really good there. If there is a chance in the future, If so, we will definitely go to the Eastern Continent to take a look. Let’s do this first, let’s talk in detail tonight.”

”Yeah!” Lin Fan nodded vigorously, pretending to be young and trusting Broadcom, and jumped up and down happily when he left.

Lin Fan is really happy, because he has already seen from Broadcom’s eyes - Broadcom is very important to him now.

This also means that Lin Fan can logically follow Broadcom all the way to Dongning City.

If Lin Fan was still a player, with the ability to revive infinitely, he wouldn’t be afraid to run wild in the consortium’s territory, but now he is an NPC with only one life, so it’s not suitable for him to develop in the consortium.

After Lin Fan screened, Dongning City is definitely the most suitable place for him to develop in the Western Continent.

In fact, the place Lin Fan wants to go the most is the Eastern Continent. The atmosphere there is more in line with the theme of version 1.0 ”Rise of the Wasteland”, where there are more opportunities for development and it is safer and more stable.

In addition, Lin Fan can also take the opportunity to avoid the deceitful Murphy, who is mainly active in the Western Continent, and he can accomplish multiple things with one stone.

However, the journey to the Eastern Continent is long and full of dangers, and the time has not yet come.

70% of the surface area of Aquamarine is ocean. When viewed from space, the entire planet appears aquamarine, as beautiful as a blue pearl, hence its name.

Planet Aquamarine has two continents, shaped like the left and right lobes of a double lung. They are called the West Continent and the East Continent respectively. The place where Lin Fan is now is the West Continent.

Since the catastrophe more than half a century ago, countless powerful sea monsters have appeared in the ocean, and human ships can no longer launch.

Many flying monsters also appeared in the sky. Their sharp beaks and claws could easily destroy steel, making the plane unable to take off.

Under the constraints of such a dangerous environment, the East and West continents were cut off after the catastrophe occurred, and more than half a century has passed.

Strictly speaking, the two continents are actually connected together.

At the northernmost tip of the continent, the two continents stretched out their long necks, like two cocks fighting. The battle was so intense that the heads of the chickens were all entangled.

That’s why it’s called the Chicken Battlefield.

Of course, this is the nickname given by the players, the official name there, the name displayed on the map is Changbai Wilderness
The Changbai Wasteland is severely cold all year round and is covered with snow and ice all year round. Only during the hottest ten days, the snow and ice will melt in the southern part of the wasteland.

Only during that specific period of time, is it possible for the East and West continents to reach each other.

Due to the disconnection between each other, there was no way to refer to them. After the upheaval of Seablue Star, the two continents moved towards completely different development directions due to historical reasons.

To sum up, the policy of the Eastern Continent is good, while the policy of the Western Continent is bad.
At least that’s the case for most ordinary people.

Of course, such a simple description of good or bad is too vague and arbitrary, for example.

After the public beta test of ”Rise of the Wasteland”, not only the posts on the forum overwhelmingly said that the Eastern Continent is more suitable for players to survive and develop, but also half a year after the game was launched, due to special reasons, for the first time, there were people from the Eastern and Western Continents who reached their respective continents. Chance.

Thousands of players bravely rushed from the Western Continent to the Eastern Continent, but very few players were willing to go from the Eastern Continent to the Western Continent.

At the beginning, because of a post on the game forum, Lin Fan chose the Western Continent as his birthplace when playing games, and as a result, he became a member of the wave of players migrating from west to east.

That action, known as the ”fire eastward migration” by players keen to record history, was one of the major events of Planet Seablue.

And Broadcom is the leader and initiator of ”Tinder moving eastward”.

That’s why Botong was so shocked by what Lin Fan said just now. Lin Fan was like a roundworm in his stomach, and he thought of everything with him!
Thinking of ”Tinder moving eastward”, Lin Fan’s thoughts became fully active.

Lin Fan was familiar with the many crises that occurred during Dongqian’s nearly two months.

It can be said that if there were only those NPCs led by Broadcom, they would not be able to pass through the Changbai Wasteland with ten times more manpower and weapons.

It was those players who could be revived infinitely, who forcibly filled out a road from the western continent to the eastern continent with their lives.

Lin Fan hung up three times along the way.

This highlights an important message that in the game ”Rise of the Wasteland”, the player is the most powerful existence.

NPCs are just background boards!
Lin Fan glanced at his panel information again.

[Template: NPC (The public beta of version 1.0 ”Wasteland Rising” has not started, and the countdown is 11 months and 2 days.)]

He is now an NPC, and based on the information on the panel, it can be reasonably guessed that the real world has also returned to the past, and players will come to this world again in the near future.

Lin Fan didn’t want to be the background board, so he had to find ways to interact with the most powerful players, and he couldn’t be like an ordinary NPC and become an experience baby who was brushed by the players.

Players are known as the fourth natural disaster, and they are all fearless of death.

And it is very easy to mobilize. Giving a task with generous rewards is free strong labor, hard work, and happiness.

Lin Fan felt that if he wanted to achieve his small goals and live comfortably and chicly on Seablue Star, he must make use of the players.

Fortunately, Lin Fan was a player in his previous life, and he knows where the player’s G-spot is. As long as he uses it properly, the background board can turn himself into a master!
Lin Fan began to think about the possibility of taking these players for his own use.

”Get stronger! Hurry up and become stronger! At least before the players come, you must become a high-level land warrior or even a sky warrior, and have enough strength and voice.

Then tie up Broadcom, and then become an important figure or even a leader in the ”Tinder Eastward Movement” team. During those two months, he can mingle with the players and definitely attract a large number of strong laborers. ”

Lin Fan also became more excited as he thought about it, and subconsciously clenched his fists.

At this moment, two big men with dirty clothes and hideous faces suddenly appeared from the front corner, blocking Lin Fan.

At the same time, the necklace on Lin Fan’s chest flashed faintly, but no one noticed it.
