I’m really just an NPC

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

The sky is bright and the moon hangs high, the earth is silent, it seems that the whole world has fallen into a deep sleep.

creak~
A broken wooden door suddenly opened, and a fat man with a shiny face squeezed out from it.

The fat man had a smile on his face, touched the bulging wallet behind his buttocks, and the smile on his face grew stronger.

Fatty was proud of himself, secretly thinking that he must pay more attention to what good products are available in the outer city.

Not only because of the cheap price, but also because the fat man enjoyed the nodding and bowing and gratitude of the old couple when he paid the money, and the envy and yearning of the thin girl and her three younger brothers looking at his wallet .

The fat man turned his head and glanced at the old wooden door behind him - the man of this family had his leg injured by a one-horned wild boar while hunting half a month ago, and the woman’s hard-earned harvest was destroyed by mutated rats when the harvest was about to be harvested. The family has been unable to open the pot for four or five days.

The family of six didn’t want to starve to death, so they had to rely on girls to make money.

The outer city is huge, and although similar families are not everywhere, as long as you look for them carefully, there will never be fewer.

”This really belongs to my perfect era, Wang Dalong!”

The fat man Wang Dalong thought about the happy life of playing songs every night in the future, and hurried towards the inner city with satisfaction.

The inner city is the private property of Wang’s consortium. In order to allow enough time to react to any mutated beast attacks that may occur at any time, a one-kilometer buffer zone is left between the innermost wall of the inner city and the innermost side of the outer city.

After 11 o’clock in the evening, the gates of the inner city will be closed. If he returns late, Wang Dalong will have to be locked outside.

Although Wang Dalong’s surname is Wang, he is not a member of Wang’s consortium, but just a part-time worker.

The lingering shadow left by his parents allowed him to live in the inner city, and even worked as a supervisor in the brick kiln factory in the outer city, but it stopped there. Wan didn’t have the face to let the soldiers in the inner city open the door for him late at night.

He had to get to the city gate in time.

Driving his own car, a bicycle, Wang Dalong galloped on the road between the inner city and the outer city, singing happily, shaking his head:
”We big fat people in the inner city, envious of the little skinny people in the outer city~”

swoosh~
Suddenly, a black shadow sprang out from the grass by the side of the road, and threw Wang Dalong, who was riding a bicycle and singing, to the ground.

Wang Dalong was startled and shouted: ”God, help, there are monsters!”

”To shut up!”

A shout of anger exploded in Wang Dalong’s ear, Wang Dalong took advantage of the moonlight to look at it, only then realized that it was not a big ferocious monster that threw him down, but a person.

He was tall and thin, and he still knew him. He was a coolie in a brick kiln factory.

Seeing whether it was a person or an acquaintance, Wang Dalong was no longer afraid, and pointed at Lin Fan’s nose and cursed: ”Lin Fan? You fucking court death!”

But the next moment, a hard object touched Wang Dalong’s neck, making him shut his mouth obediently.

It was a stringed short crossbow, and the arrow of the crossbow had a cold light on it, which made Wang Dalong’s tone soften unconsciously: ”Lin Fan, don’t be impulsive, just speak up when you have something to say.”

”Where’s my sister?” Lin Fan’s voice was cold, with killing intent.

”Your sister? Murphy?”

Wang Dalong didn’t get an answer from Lin Fan, he only felt the short crossbow on his neck sticking tighter.

”Lin Fan, Lin Fan, don’t be impulsive, I really don’t know what you mean. If you have something to say, speak carefully, and I will understand what you mean when you speak carefully. Impulse is the devil.”

”My sister went hunting in the morning and hasn’t come back yet. Did you hide her?”

Lin Fan’s tone was agitated, and his hands kept shaking, which made Wang Dalong roll his eyes in fright, fearing that a big hole would be shot out of his neck by the crossbow arrow the next moment.

”I really don’t know where your sister has gone! There are so many people in the outer city, why did you ask me...” Wang Dalong felt that he was wronged, and his brain was a little clever, trying to change the topic to calm Lin Fan down first.

Who knew that Lin Fan became even more excited, and spit on Wang Dalong’s face: ”What did you say to Team Leader Li in the toilet yesterday evening, and you think I don’t know? You hurry up and say, my sister! ”

yesterday evening?in the toilet?
Wang Dalong recalled briefly, and remembered the scene at that time.

At that time, he felt that it was a waste of money to have fun in the inner city, so he asked Li Changshou if there was any good stuff in the outer city.

It was Li Changshou who got the line for the family of six tonight.

By the way, Li Changshou also said at the time that Lin Fan’s family has a sister who is very poor and can be a backup, so it’s possible...

”I was going to the toilet at that time, and I heard it all!” Lin Fan pinched Wang Dalong’s arm and shouted, ”Where is my sister now?”

In the evening, it’s fucking working time, who the hell made you go to the bathroom! !I was going to catch you at that time, and I had to beat you to death with a whip!

Wang Dalong roared in his heart, but when the words came to his lips, they turned into: ”I really didn’t have your sister’s idea. I used money to negotiate the price when I was looking for a woman. If you like me, I will. I have never had the habit of buying and selling by force.”

Wang Dalong opened his mouth to explain, speaking very fast,
”You’re squatting here with me, you should know that I went to find Luo San’s daughter tonight, and I’ve been at the factory all day. Lin Fan, think about it carefully, I don’t have time!”

But Lin Fan didn’t listen to the explanation at all, and yelled in Wang Dalong’s ear again: ”I ask you, where is my sister!?”

Where did your sister go, how the hell do I know...

Wang Dalong was threatened again and again by Lin Fan, a pariah from the outer city. He was anxious and angry: ”Didn’t you say that your sister went hunting? The wilderness is so dangerous, with wolves and tigers. Will she?” meeting……”

”You want to say that my sister died in the wilderness?”

Wang Dalong spoke cheaply: ”It’s possible, think about how your father died...”

”Ah! Wang Dalong, I want to kill you!”

Lin Fan’s eyes were red, and he was about to pull the trigger while holding the short crossbow.

But Lin Fan has been severely malnourished since he was a child, and he worked hard in the brick kiln factory and did not have enough rest. At this time, his emotions fluctuated wildly, like a tight rope that was forcibly tightened again and broke directly.

The whole person died suddenly and died suddenly on the spot.

Deadly and powerless, Lin Fan dropped the short crossbow first, and then his whole body limp on Wang Dalong’s body.

Wang Dalong was taken aback for a moment, but the next moment his eyes glistened, leaning on his arms and waist, he turned over and pressed Lin Fan firmly under his buttocks, and raised his hand to slap Lin Fan hard in the face.

slap~
”You little bastard, it’s against the sky, you dare to threaten Fat Lord me, let me see if I don’t kill you!”

After finishing speaking, Wang Dalong reached out his hand to reach under his armpit, unexpectedly took out a pistol, and pressed it firmly against Lin Fan’s forehead.

Wang Dalong didn’t know that Lin Fan had died suddenly, and the moonlight was blocked by his fat shoulders, so he couldn’t see Lin Fan’s face clearly.

Seeing that Lin Fan didn’t speak, Wang Dalong raised his hand again,
slap~
A slap slapped Lin Fan hard on the face: ”Trash, play dead with me at this time!”

”Hmm~”

After receiving two slaps in a row, Lin Fan, who had already died suddenly, let out a slight sound of pain, and then he suddenly opened his eyes with curiosity.

Fraud? ?

Lin Fan, who came back to life again, opened his eyes and saw everything around him in an instant. The curiosity in his eyes turned into doubt and bewilderment the next moment.

The pistol on his forehead, the stinging feeling on his face, the fat man riding on him and cursing...

All of these things indicated that he was in trouble, that he was in big trouble!

what’s the situation?
Didn’t I just enter the game?
Although you choose a random start, you shouldn’t have a Maitreya Buddha sitting on you as soon as you start, and this Maitreya Buddha will be different and spit out fragrance.

In addition, this Buddha is holding a murderous weapon, as if he will transform into a demon Buddha and start killing people at the next moment, and he is like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered...

Has the Rise of the Wasteland game evolved?
As we all know, if you choose a random start in ”Wasteland Rising”, you will only be involved in extremely chaotic scenes such as wars, beast tides, famines, collective escapes, etc. Players will become a member of these escape groups without identity or origin. There is no logical cause and effect problem.

Simple understanding means that the system will not go back to the timeline to fabricate a plot that should not exist because of a new player. All players are orphans with no worries.

Of course, the system will not assign players a death-defying start.

Lin Fan said that he has played this broken game for 15 years, and he has opened seven or eight trumpets, and he has never encountered an unexpected incident where someone pointed a gun to his head at the beginning of the game.

”It’s been a long time. If this is really the opening kill, I will go to the forum to break the news, complain and add a wave of rights protection.” Lin Fan muttered in a low voice, and then silently said in his heart, ”Turn on the recording function.”

The video is the evidence, which is the capital of Lin Fan’s rights protection.

but……

The game system is unresponsive.

”What are you muttering about, you little bastard?” Wang Dalong poked Lin Fan’s head unceremoniously with the muzzle of a gun, his face grim.
”Just now I explained a lot to you. I haven’t touched your sister, and my mouth is worn out. You don’t believe a word, and you clamored to kill me. Come on, I’m sitting here now, you kill me , Shabi, you kill!”

After finishing speaking, Wang Dalong twisted his buttocks, almost crushing Lin Fan.

Although Wang Dalong was very indifferent, Lin Fan didn’t care about this fat man’s thoughts for the time being. Now his mind was full of question marks—is there a bug in the game, why the system recording function can’t be used?
And my trumpet character actually has a sister?
An NPC sister! ?
What a joke!
”System panel!” Lin Fan, who was full of doubts, shouted in his heart, ready to call out the system panel to see how the character’s attributes are this time.

If the attributes are rubbish, go offline to play the big account, and wait a week to delete the small account character and rebuild!

A feeling of uneasiness enveloped Lin Fan in an instant. His hairs stood on end, his eyes widened, and he looked at the introduction on the panel in disbelief——

Is it possible?I wear it? ?

o((⊙﹏⊙))o.{Too scary.gif}
The moment Lin Fan had this terrifying idea, a series of messy memories suddenly appeared in Lin Fan’s mind, making him feel in a trance for a while.

”It turns out that I have really time-traveled into the game ”Rise of the Wasteland” and became an NPC. The time has returned to 15 years ago. When the game was not opened, this is the Western Continent...”

bang~
Seeing that Lin Fan had been silent, Wang Dalong raised his right hand and slammed the butt of the gun hard on Lin Fan’s face: ”Waste, weren’t you very majestic just now? Why are you listless now?”

[You are attacked by a normal attack, life -3]

The stinging pain on his face made Lin Fan come back to his senses from the uneasiness of traveling through time. The next moment, his expression returned to its calm expression.

In reality, it has been established for 15 years, and the game has experienced [-] years, and the grand worldview of the game ”Rise of the Wasteland” has broadened its horizons.

Lin Fan said that even if he crossed over, he could calmly accept...what the hell!

Having said that, Lin Fan understands that this is not the time to worry about ”traversing” and how to save his life is the most important thing.

A dead fat guy is sitting on top of him and pointing a gun at him, and the first thing to do is to get out.

Even counter-kill!

”Ah!”

Suddenly, Lin Fan exerted all his strength to overthrow Wang Dalong.

but,
Wang Dalong was too fat, Lin Fan didn’t shake the pile of fat.

Sensing Lin Fan’s struggle, Wang Dalong revealed excitement in his eyes, and raised the butt of his gun fiercely to hit Lin Fan’s head again.

bang~
[You are attacked by a normal attack, life -3]

【Life: 12/19】

[You are in a state of slight injury, all attributes are -10%]

Seeing that his health had lost one-third, and his brain had started to faint after being hit continuously, Lin Fan panicked.

He is no longer a player, but an NPC. He has probably lost the ability to resurrect infinitely. He only has one life. If he dies, he is really dead.

Although Wang Dalong had a gun in his hand, he would die if he didn’t resist. Lin Fan didn’t want to sit still, so he mustered all his strength again,
”Ah!”

But in the end it still couldn’t match Wang Dalong’s weight.

clap~

[You are attacked by a normal attack, life -1]

Seeing Lin Fan struggling again, Wang Dalong’s eyes went wild, and he slapped Lin Fan twice. Judging by his demeanor, it seemed that he was not going to let Lin Fan leave alive today.
