Dragon Monarch System

889  Chapter 889:- Fragments of Secrets

“That won’t be necessary!!!” Hashi Rii’s entire body stiffened. Her heart started racing super fast. Her face turned white. It was like she had seen the Grim Reaper. Slowly, her body started shivering. Gulp…..!!!

‘Why am I getting nervous?’ ‘Maybe she doesn’t want tea anymore.’

‘Yeah! That has to be it.’ ‘If she was secretly listening to my conversation, then I would have sensed her presence.’ Feeling confident, Hashi Rii turned around with a smile. But when she turned around, what she saw wasn’t the beautiful face of the Goddess of Wisdom; rather, a yellowish-green flame hit her face. Ahhh…!!!!

Hashi Rii screamed out loud in pain. Her whole body was on fire. When the fire stopped, Hashi’s appearance had changed. Although her height and body shape remained the same, her face completely changed. “So this is your true face!!” Athena’s expression remained stoic. But she sounded disgusted.

She had an ugly face. Large eyes, a very small nose, and very fat lips all made me look ugly. “You Bitch!!” Athena shut her up with a slap on her face. She did not stop there. She gave this woman another slap. This woman deserved a million slaps, and even that many slaps on her face might not be enough for her. Athena snatched her earrings without her noticing. Then, she roughly grabbed her blue hair and dragged her towards the bedroom. ‘If this woman wasn’t a Beginner 6th-order cultivator, I could have used illusion to make this woman my own puppet.’

Athena knew that she could not stay here for too long. But she wasn’t going to leave this woman like this. “Speak!!” She said while roughly grabbing her chin. “Where is the original Hashi Rii?” “Hahahaha…..!!” She started laughing when asked about the original Hashi Rii. “Speak!!” Even if she wasn’t willing to speak, Athena could just control her mind to make her speak. The problem was that the organization must have made her sign a soul-binding contract that prevented her from speaking about them. “You’re twenty years late!!” She said while laughing. “Ah….!! The original Hashi Rii. When I think about her, I can still remember her painful screams before she died.”

“I have to say she is a really beautiful woman.” She was jealous of her beauty, which is why she tortured the original Hashi Rii so much before killing her, even though she was given the order to just end her life as soon as possible. “But in the end, she died.” Hashi looked at Athena and added. “When I tried to know about the location of the Pocket Dimension, she refused to give any information.” “She never said a bad thing…!Ahhh…..!!”

“Till her end, she kept her mouth shut.” The reason the organization never really wanted to locate the pocket dimension is that only members of Athena’s family could access the key to the pocket dimension. This is the reason why Athena stayed in the pocket dimension for a century to recover her power. “She never said a bad thing…!Ahhh…..!!”

Hashi Rii screamed in pain as she felt her legs bending in an unnatural way. It was like a mysterious force bending her arms towards her back. “What are you doing?” But when she looked at Athena, she suddenly lost her courage to finish her words. Her face was stoic as ever, but her eyes were cold enough to freeze an entire continent in mere seconds. “Thank you for the information.”

“Now you can die!!” Athena slowly clenched her fist. As her right palm closed into a fist, a powerful, invisible force crushed her body. The next second, her body exploded like a water balloon. This explosion scattered blood mixed with tiny pieces of flesh, bones, and inner body organs in all directions. Some of the stuff covered Athena. Athena picked up the storage ring beneath all flesh and blood and looked inside. There was nothing else inside the storage ring except for some gold coins, cultivation techniques, and personal items. Athena shook her head in disappointment. Finally, she took out the earrings that she used to communicate with other members of the organization. Athena tried to use the artifact to communicate with others but failed. “As expected, only members of the organization could use this artifact.” Athena wasn’t surprised. “Let’s use my ability, Memory Keeper, on this artifact.” Maybe she will gain some valuable information from the fragmented images. Once again, around twenty fireflies appeared in Athena. The fireflies flew close to the artifact and began shining brightly. ••

Athena started seeing fragmented images along with many voices in her head. Most of these voices belonged to one person, Hashi. Most of the fragmented images showed images of men on top of her. Their panting faces made her feel disgusted, but she endured it and continued looking through it. A few seconds later, she heard something interesting. “Laura tried her best to hide it; it was obvious that her health was deteriorating.”

“The Goddess also must have sensed this change. To merge with her clone again, she will definitely come out and the first person that she will seek is you.” “Unfortunately, the team that I sent to capture that woman was wiped out. And it was done by the Dragon Monarch.” Her superior sounded very frustrated about the entire situation.

Although the fragmented image of this event did not give any details as the other party was talking to her through these earrings, Athena gained some valuable information from their conversation. “The Dragon Monarch….!!” This is the second time she has heard of his name being mentioned. “Just who is he?” “It’s a fortunate thing that he protected my clone. Otherwise, by now, I might have lost my clone forever.” She felt that she had to thank him. After all, without him, she would have lost something so valuable that no amount of gold coins would be able to buy it. “Wherever he is, I have to find him.” Right now, she knew only the general location, which was outside the Main continent. The Dragon Monarch and her clone were on one of six continents. Athena did not leave. She stayed around and continued looking around the house. Athena hoped to find something belonging to her maid so that she could use Memory Keeper to find out where her maid was buried or if she was even buried. Using the fragmented images, she hoped to see her maid one last time, but Hashi Rii did not leave anything that belonged to her maid. Sigh…..!!!

After about 20 minutes, Athena felt exhausted. She slowly left the house, only to notice that a crowd of villagers was heading towards her. ‘It seems Hashi’s scream made them all gather and come here together to investigate.’ Athena did not want to reveal herself. Among the mortals, probably no one remembers her face. Maybe these villager’s grandparents remembered who she was, but the descendants of her people won’t know her. ‘Goodbye!!’ Athena flew off to the sky. Within a few seconds, she was beyond the white clouds. She glanced at the tiny village and the ruins, which were barely noticeable because of the dense vegetation. ‘After I have taken my revenge, I will turn. This place will always be my home.’ Athena has hidden many important treasures of her family in the pocket dimension that only the members of her family’s blood could access. Swoosh!!!

Scene Change____

A man, along with a group of powerful cultivators, was flying towards the very same village where Hashi Rii stayed and where Athena had killed her.

Suddenly, she stopped flying. This made others who were following him stop in midair.

Everyone was confused. They looked at each other as if silently asking why their leader suddenly stopped. “There is no use in going anymore.” A man told his subordinate. “Sir, what happened?” A subordinate asked in a respectful tone. “Hashi Rii is dead.” “The flame that represented her life had been extinguished.” He just received news from the headquarters. “This means that the Goddess of Wisdom had discovered Hashi’s real identity and killed her.” He did not look so surprised. This was the Goddess of Wisdom; of course, she was going to notice even tiny changes in her maid. “I had expected something like this to happen, but I was hoping that she would keep deceiving the Goddess for a little longer.”

“What should we do now?” A subordainte asked. “What else? Return to the base.” “Now that the Goddess is out, we will have plenty of opportunities to hunt her down. Or we could just hunt her clone, but that will be more difficult.” No one has managed to even enter the Dragon Palace. The Dragon Palace was so tightly protected that it was impossible for any information to come out. “Before her connection with her clone disappeared, she must have sensed her exact location. So, most likely, she will try to leave the Main Continent. That would be our chance to take her down.” —————-

Really Thank you very much to all those who send support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!
