Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3051 Kill Him Right Now

”Do you want it?”

Davis asked, causing Sophie to nod.

”This Blazing Embercap Mushroom seems capable of enhancing my flames from what Dalila said, perhaps, allowing me to comprehend Level Three Quiddity in Fire Laws or even further. It also has a chance for boosting my comprehension in Yang Laws to Level Six Abstruse Intent as well, so I canʼt wait to obtain it.”

Davis smiled in response.

The law comprehension of Immortal King or the Transcendent Cultivation Systemʼs Monarch Stage ranged from Level One Quiddity to Level Three Quiddity, each intent corresponding to the early, mid, and late minor stages of the Immortal King Stage.

In the same way, Level Four Quiddity, Level Five Quiddity, and Level Six Quiddity corresponded to the Early, Mid, and Late Immortal Emperor Stages.

However, this is the case for Primary Laws like Fire Laws. Since Yang Laws was a Greater Law, the corresponding comprehension intents for it in Immortal King Stage were Level One, Level Two, and Level Three Abstruse Intents. Likewise, Level Four, Level Five, and Level Six Abstruse Intents of Greater Laws could only be achieved in the Immortal King Stage.

This didnʼt mean that Abstruse Intent was lesser than Quiddity but meant that Greater Laws are generally more difficult to comprehend than Primary Laws since the higher intents for higher-tiered Laws could only be grasped on higher levels.

”What about you, Lea?”

”Since Sophie wants it, I shall refrain.”

Lea elegantly answered, causing Sophie to pull her hands and shake, ”Youʼre the best, Lea~”

Davisʼs smile became prevalent, seeing that they could forgo their own needs for each other.

After all, since this was a fire attribute treasure that was only slightly yang-attributed, it should be compatible with Lea as well. Her answer caused him to raise his hand and caress Leaʼs cheek as his hand sneaked past her veil.

”…”

Leaʼs face turned crimson as she felt many gazes while being caressed by him. However, she didnʼt say anything and let him do as he pleased. She even felt a bit affectionate, wanting to reciprocate, but the other gazes left her feeling a burning sensation on her cheeks.

”What about me? It canʼt be that youʼre going to mistreat me just because Iʼm his daughter, no?”𝒩𝗈𝓋𝑬𝑙𝗎𝗌𝗯.𝚌𝗈𝓶

Abruptly, a confused voice echoed out, causing Davis and the others to turn to look at a crimson-robed woman.

Her crimson eyes were stunningly beautiful, and Davis knew so was her face that could make countless men mesmerized. Such a face was covered under a light red veil at the moment, but it did nothing to stop her beauty from being admired as her eyes alone were shining like crimson stars.

She was none other than Xerna Zenflame, a magical beast and the bastard daughter of Patriarch Killian Zenflame.

He originally thought she was weaker as she was only ranked second in the Immortal King Grade Core Disciple Rankings. She was not even a true disciple, but he guessed he was wrong since she seemed to have kept her true strength hidden despite not even being King-Tier.

ʼA variant…?ʼ Davis thought.

Nonetheless, he pointed at her face and flicked his finger elsewhere.

”Young lady, youʼre not my woman. Therefore, you should go get your own food.”

Xerna Zenflame narrowed her eyes, ”I thought we were supposed to be a group?”

”Youʼre free to leave.”

Davis uttered in a cold voice before turning to look at others.

”Iʼll also say this to the others. If any of our lives were in danger, I would, without hesitation, prioritize the lives of my wives over yours, so be sure to remember that.”

”Hehe~ Obviously~”

Vereina lightly giggled, ”You donʼt have to say how smitten youʼre with them for us to know the tales of the Emperor of Death whose only weakness is his women.”

”Indeed.” Cyclonis Blizzara nodded her head, ”Iʼm already thankful that I am not alone in this unknown world. As for resources, itʼs better if we obtain them through our own efforts.”

”I donʼt have a problem. Iʼm just tagging along to collect information on this world to understand its risks before traversing alone.”

”Same here.”

Niel Bladeheart and Garoe Rynn uttered.

”Is that so? Iʼm going to shamelessly stick by him. Hehehe~”

Vereina giggled with a shady look, causing the others to smilingly shake their heads.

”I donʼt understand.”

But at this moment, Xerna Zenflameʼs voice echoed out in a confused tone.I think you should take a look at

”It seems like youʼre not vulnerable to other beauties, and neither are you after me to fulfill twisted desires. But if thatʼs the case, what did my bastard father promise you for you to leave him alive?”

She asked Davis as she inched closer. Perhaps, if he was any weaker, she mightʼve grabbed his collar.

Regardless, Davis could only blink at her heated question, her eyes shining in an ardent gaze. Was this woman so eager to have her father killed?

He pursed his lips, raising his hand and snapping his fingers.

”Your fatherʼs life is only a snapʼs sound away from death, so it doesnʼt matter if he lives or dies to me, as I can kill him whenever I want. Heʼs nothing but a puppet of my making.”

”…!” Xerna Zenflameʼs eyes show wide, ”You cursed him with your Death Laws?”

”Something like that.”

Davis nodded while his words caused the others to part their lips in shock.

His women were prideful while the others gawked, wondering how he managed to have tabs on Killian Zenflame without getting caught, especially Cyclonis Blizzara, as she had also been a fellow leader from the Ice Phoenix Clan.

Having met Killian Zenflame many times already, she knew how strong he was, but not only did the Emperor of Death thrash and kidnap him, but he also had him under his palms without letting others know?

Cyclonis Blizzara had felt like she had overestimated Davis, but only now did she understand that she underestimated him as it wasnʼt a minor thing for him to be able to hide curses from one ownʼs self, much less the others who would have checked on the Patriarch as it was of utmost importance to oneʼs clan to know that their leader wasnʼt being controlled after a case of kidnapping has occurred.

”If you have him under your palm, then kill him already!”

Xerna Zenflame screamed at Davis. Her furious yet excited voice caused Davis to be stumped.

If it werenʼt for the fact that they were far away from the giant deer and concealed under Nadiaʼs death energy shroud, then they wouldʼve been spotted already.

Regardless, he couldnʼt help but voice out.

”Why are you so fearful?”

Xerna Zenflame appeared taken aback.

Indeed, Davis was stumped not because of her excitement but because of the fear shrouding her gaze.

”You donʼt understand. The Fire Phoenix Clanʼs sights arenʼt in the First Haven World. You donʼt know how strong the Fire Phoenix Clan is… Theyʼre the de facto leader of the Phoenix Alliance for a reason…”

Davis smiled amusedly, ”Then tell me how they could be exiled by the other Phoenix Clans…”

”They werenʼt exiled, but they chose to ignore that verdict, all because they have no more intention to stay in the First Haven World...”

”I only know at the level of rumors… all because of one man...”

”You mean Reselius Zenflame?”

”You know him!?”

”Just a crippled old bird. Why do you fear him so much?”

Davis had heard about Reselius Zenflameʼs story from Great Ancestor Zenflameʼs account.

Xerna Zenflame clenched her teeth.

”Since you know about him, I assume you know about his true strength as well. But his strength isnʼt the problem because he is crippled into a state where he has no hope for his future. However, the problem is he has tons of children who ascended, and even my grandfather, Killian Zenflameʼs father, is among them. They would all come for you if they knew you have humiliated the entire Fire Phoenix Clan upon his or any one of the Fire Phoenix Clan membersʼ ascension, so it is better for you to kill him right now and appease the Fire Phoenix Clan in whatever way possible while you can!”

Davis still kept an indifferent gaze, ”Iʼm not afraid.”

”You still donʼt understand. If Iʼm not wrong, most of Ancestor Reselius Zenflameʼs sons wouldʼve mutated and surpassed the Immortal Emperor Stage because he has slaughtered almost every Emperor-Tier Fire Phoenixes from other lineages born into the Fire Phoenix Clan and gifted them their blood essence as a reward for completing their trial, which is to kill a Divergent using whatever means necessary!”

”If my bastard father somehow manages to kill you or a Divergent, then he might also be rewarded with that kind of blood we naturally come to crave and become strong enough to the point that he would be able to command every single soul in the Fire Phoenix Clan!”

”…”

Davis looked at her scream out with a dumbfounded gaze.

What the hell? Emperor Tier Fire Phoenixes of other bloodlines were slaughtered in their own clans? And the other Fire Phoenixes stood for this atrocity which would never happen in a magical beast clan as Kings and Emperor existences were revered?

But he had soulscoured Patriarch Killian Zenflame and found no such information, which meant that he shouldnʼt know about this matter.

Just as he was about to ask her why she knew this, as she didnʼt seem to be lying according to his Heart Intent, his gaze moved elsewhere as he sensed a group of people approaching them- no, the Blazing Embercap Mushroom.
