Cursed Immortality

Chapter 1005: Rocking the Timeless Tower!

Realization dawned on Jacob at this moment; it was like a deep mist was cleared.

’So that’s how it is! I always thought SAAI, Undying Will, and the likes of Black Rose were AI made with programs like in my old world; it turns out they are living beings, and extremely powerful ones at that.

’This Spirit Natural Intelligence Mechanic Race is born as a Legendary King State; I can only imagine how powerful their potential would be. Furthermore, didn’t I also encounter that Spirit Natural Intelligence Phantasma in the Tower of Taurus?

’It was a treasure created by Spirit Natural Intelligence Mechanic’s Ultimate Algorithm as a core, so it might be the same as these Machina Units. It seemed I had missed a pretty powerful treasure, but no matter what, I won’t regret my choice.

’Anyhow, I need to change my plans now that I know the truth behind the Star Network and Dark Network. Furthermore, I should acquire the Spirit Core of SNIM Race to study, and it just happened to be that a Machina Unit is right under my feet.

’If I can also learn how to alter this SNIM Race and make it my own and then integrate Nyx’s plan into it...’ Jacob’s eyes flickered with ecstasy, ’Wouldn’t it mean I can create my own network like the Star Network, Star Watches, and anything related to magic technology will no longer have any danger to me? I might be able to fight SAAI as well...’

The more Jacob thought about this, the more he felt that he had found a way to break the bottleneck, and it was extremely beneficial for him.

Jacob then looked at Constant Baron-0, who seemed to be under a trance after revealing the biggest secret of the Timeless City.

’Since she’s under scrutiny and those Constant Viscounts might interfere, there’s no need to play nice anymore...’ Jacob thought as his eyes turned deadly cold.

Jacob suddenly placed his hand over Constant Baron-0’s head and coldly commanded, ”Don’t resist.”

Golden Constant-0 froze for a moment, and then she was pulled into Jacob’s infinity pendant’s storage space.

Once Constant Baron-0 was retrieved, ”Five more Constant Barons, while the rest should be lifespan...” Jacob muttered.

Jacob knew he needed to act quickly because Constant Baron-0’s disappearance might be noticed by the Timeless Tower since she was under house arrest.

’Although I don’t know if this’ll work or not, at least it would cause a huge commotion. It’s not like they are any use to me at this level. I’m already planning on new ones...’

The next moment, Jacob started to remove one item after another. They were missiles, bombs, bullets, shells, mines, and even transparent vats filled with glowing, unstable liquids. And they all had one thing in common: They were all atomic weapons made with Jacob’s highest attainment in his old world weaponry and magic technology from Unique Plains.

In the legendary plains, they can’t threaten those legendary rank powers. However, with his entire arsenal, even legendary rank powers would want to avoid it, not to mention he was right in the heart of the enemy’s base.

Even though Jacob wasn’t confident about blowing up the entire Timeless Tower, he only wanted to cause a huge commotion before he started his operation. He also had some hope that all of these bombs might result in something terrifying.

Soon, the entire 200-meter space of the hall was filled with atomic weaponry, and Jacob set a timer of 30 seconds for all the big missiles to self-destruct before he vanished into the Infinite Space.

Although he was a Quasi-Myth, he didn’t want to be anywhere near this when the blast went off, since he had no idea of the final blast power.

”Beep...beep...beep...” As seconds ticked away, the top floor was eerily silent.

At this moment, a static voice rang from within the secret room on the top floor where the Timeless Hourglass was locked.

”Constant Baron-0’s soul signature has been lost!

”Scanning the Timeless Tower...”

After ten seconds, the static voice rang again, ”There are no traces of Constant Baron-0 and her ’guest’.

”Incomprehensible...”

All of a sudden, ”Many Quasi-Legend Rank technology items have been detected...starting the scan...”

After another ten seconds, the static voice rang again, but this time, a deep crimson light suddenly went off, not just on the top floor but all the floors of the Timeless Tower, bewildering the Constant Barons. Even the entire Timeless City suddenly started to react, and all the other constants were shocked.

At this moment, the static voice reverberated throughout the entire city, ”Warning...warning...warning...

”Imminent attac...”

But before the voice could even complete its words, it turned chaotic and incomprehensible, startling many.

However, the next moment, an earth-shattering sound like an ancient beast’s roar reverberated from the center of the city where the Timeless Tower stood. The voice was so loud that it could be heard from the Shadows of Abyssal Rift like ghostly howls.

0:00—The timer Reaches Zero.

A blinding white pulse exploded silently across the top floor of the Timeless Tower. For an instant, time seemed still, and then Hell was unleashed.

The first thing to go was the air itself, vaporized into incandescent plasma as a chain of atomic detonations erupted in a synchronized blast.

BOOOOM!!!

The explosion surged outward like a collapsing sun, consuming everything with fire, heat, and destruction. Thousands of runes and barriers triggered instantly, struggling to contain the impossible energy.

The walls screamed.

The ceiling buckled, the ground shattered, and for a single breath, the top floor ceased to exist—replaced by a sphere of seething white incineration.

And then, the Tower’s most powerful or the Timeless City’s most powerful formation was activated.

The Timeless Tower was made from legendary alloys smelted from legendary king rank iron, titan gold, and starstone crystals. The walls didn’t yield, but they held.

Like a prison locking down its mad dog, the top floor’s structural shell withstood the detonation, barely. But not without consequence.

A tremor shot down the tower’s entire frame.

Cracks bloomed.

Like a spider web etched by maddening wrath, hairline fractures spread from the top down—across every floor, through every corridor, slicing across protective formations and dimensional anchors.

The Timeless Tower—untouched for over thousands of years—rocked as if caught in the jaws of a beast!
