Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Other than the Grand Mission Pavilion, several other important places have also been set up over the last year. By far, the most important of these other places is the Ninth Star Peak, that was transformed into a massive spiritual herb garden with the help of Shu Yao, Zu Fei, and the alchemy elders from both the Flying Sword Sect and Spring Flower Sect.”

Hearing what Feng Chen said, Xuan Hao could not help remembering the Ninth Star Peak from when he had first visited together with Qing Yi and Chu Yang. Back then, the Ninth Star Peak was filled with all sorts of people searching the forest on top of the Ninth Star Peak for spiritual herbs.

Even if the spiritual herbs were rather low quality back then, things should have changed now that the chaotic qi formation was in place. Given the increase in qi at the Ninth Star Peak, it was not weird for higher quality spiritual herbs to start appearing.

From what Feng Chen said, it seemed like Shu Yao, Zu Fei and the alchemy elders had taken advantage of the fact that spiritual herbs grew naturally on the Ninth Star Peak and ended up transforming it into a massive spiritual herb garden.

In the future, the Star Shattering Sect would have more than enough spiritual herbs for the alchemist to make potions, pills, and elixirs…

The last thing on the list of important buildings in the Star Shattering Sect that Feng Chen had left for last, was the Grand Library where all the cultivation mantras, martial arts and different combat techniques were stored.

The Grand Library located close to the centre of Seventh Star Peak, was split into a total of three different floors.

The first floor was where most of the different cultivation mantras and combat techniques were located, it was also here that most of the disciples would be spending their time. The higher-level cultivation mantras of the Heaven Rank could also be found here, but it would only be the first few volumes that had been copied from the original. Not the entire thing.

The second floor of the library was different compared to the first floor of the Grand Library, as one would have to at least be a core disciple or an elder at the Nascent Soul Realm. Meaning, Outer Sect Elders were not counted as those who could enter the second floor of the grand library!

At the second floor of the library, the original copies of the different Heaven Rank Cultivation Mantras and Combat Techniques were stored and could be accessed by the sect elders and core disciples.

The Third Floor of the Grand Library was only accessible to Core Elders and above, there was not really anything stored on the third floor of the Grand Library yet, but Xuan Hao could already guess that cultivation mantras that surpassed the Heaven Rank would be stored there. Maybe special scrolls like the ones he had found in the temple of the Half Spirit Race could also be stored on the third floor of the library if he happened to get his hands on more in the future.

”Is that it?”

”Yes… That should be it for the important places and building we finished up over the past years.”

Feeling a bit exhausted after having listened to Feng Chen talking for the past few hours, Xuan Hao let out a sigh of relief after hearing that the explanation was finally finished.

Even if he was interested in all these important places on the Seventh Star Peak and the Ninth Star Peak. Listening to Feng Chen talking for an extended period of time quickly became rather exhausting mentally. Especially considering how boring things started getting towards the end…

”If that was all, I will be taking my leave for now and find out where to settle down on the Seventh Star Peak.”

Following a quick farewell, Xuan Hao didn’t stay around for much longer before leaving.

Given that he planned to move his three disciples to the Seventh Star Peak given how much better it would be for them to cultivate there, Xuan Hao directly made his way towards his pavilion back at the Flying Sword Sect.

Planning to ask his disciples what kind of place they would prefer to stay when moving before starting to build anything.

…

”G-Grand Elder… Are you sure we should try going outside? The increase in qi is not something bad and it won’t hurt to stay and wait until we become stronger!”

”No! We have to find out the reason for the sudden increase in qi between heaven and earth! From what was recorded and written down by our ancestors, something like this happening is either due to some powerful expert ascending, the appearance of a powerful artifact or a powerful qi gathering formation! No matter which one it is, it is highly likely something that will end up endangering all of us!”

At the same time Xuan Hao was making his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect, a short old man shook off the hands of an equally small young man who was trying to hold him back.

From a glance, it was obvious that these two people were members of the Half Spirit Race that lived in the Eighth Star Peak. The old man was the great elder Xuan Hao had talked to when he had visited, while the young man was a recently appointed elder of the Half Spirit Race who had just recently broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

”But Grand Elder… Our ancestors clearly warned us to never go outside unless someone manages to ascend successfully! If we do go out before this, the ancestors clearly warned us about the experts of the human race which is currently in charge of the Ewaria Continent taking action to wipe us out!”

”Bah! You worry far too much! Do you really think such a transcendent expert would really bother with our race which doesn’t even have a single expert at the Domain Lord Realm? Not to mention, all those experts should be located at the centre of the continent. Not anywhere near where we are currently!”

Rolling his eyes at the young elders worry, the old man who was in charge of the Half Spirit Race waved his hand and sealed up the young elder to prevent him from causing any more trouble before slowly beginning his ascend out of the valley hidden away inside the Eighth Star Peak.

”Grand Elder!”

Not able to stop the Grand Elder from leaving to find out what was going on outside, the young elder could only let go as he anxiously stared towards the Grand Elder slowly getting closer and closer to the outside world.

Even if the Grand Elder was someone who had already reached Half a Step into the Domain Lord Realm and had already condensed a pseudo domain, the young elder understood very well just how weak the Grand Elder was when compared to the powerful experts described in the ancient texts written by his ancestors.

Back when the Half Spirit Race was considered to be at their pinnacle and could move around outside without having to worry about another race coming along and wiping them out, there had been hundreds of experts in the Soul Ascension Realm according to the ancient records.

However, this was not what had made the Half Spirit Race stand tall in the world back then. Instead, it was the presence of three transcendent experts who had successfully managed to surpass the Soul Ascension Realm!

Only with an expert above the Soul Ascension Realm could a race truly keep itself safe in the world.

Considering that the Half Spirit Race had three such experts in the past, their position in the world could be considered stable… However, this all changed when a cataclysmic war erupted in the past.

The war had not only split the world up, but had also ended up killing the three transcendent experts from the Half Spirit Race… Back then, the few surviving experts of the Half Spirit Race had used an ancient teleportation formation to come to the Eighth Star Peak to seek refuge and hide away until another transcendent expert could emerge from the Half Spirit Race. Allowing them to appear in the world once again!

However, none of this had happened and the Half Spirit Race had instead ended up starting a slow decline until the strongest expert left had not even reached the Domain Lord Realm.

The young elder was among the few members of the Half Spirit Race who knew about this part of their history, as he had dedicated his entire life to understanding the ancient records of his race, while at the same time keeping them intact before he broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm and became an elder.

For this reason, the young elder was extremely nervous when watching the Grand Elder making his way outside their small safe space, as he full well understood the dangers of the outside world from the ancient records, he had spent his entire life reading through.
