Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”So, which of the Star peaks do you think would be the best place to build on…?” Finishing his tour of the Shattered Star Peaks together with Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei, Xuan Hao turned around and asked this.

Hearing this question, Shu Yao, and Feng Chen both frowned slightly before thinking deeply about the question. After all, both of them understood very well just how important this question was and dared not answer it without thinking things through properly.

”I think it would be best to go with the Seventh Star Peak. Not only are we closer to the entrance of the Shattered Star Peaks, but we would also be closer to the Eighth Star Peak of the Half Spirit Race and the Ninth Star Peak filled with spiritual herbs.”

Not thinking about it as deeply as Shu Yao and Feng Chen, Zu Fei directly answered Xuan Hao’s question-

”Indeed… If you say it like that, it does seem like the Seventh Star Peak is the most fitting location.”

”Yeah, it would also be rather difficult for the younger disciples to reach the city at the base of the Ninth Star Peak if we decided on the Fourth Star Peak…”

Instantly causing both Shu Yao and Feng Chen to nod their head in agreement.

”Well, it looks like the Seventh Star Peak will be home to the Flying Sword Sect in the future!” Smiling happily as he saw all three of them had decided on a place, Xuan Hao knew that there was nothing more for him to do when it came to the construction of the new main sect.

All he had to do now was leave it to the elders in front of him!

Whoosh~

Understanding this, Xuan Hao didn’t stay around the group of three for much longer, as he soon made his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect after a quick goodbye. Leaving the rest of the work in the hands of Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei.

Over the next few days, Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei worked together on preparing the elders below and the workers for the construction of the new main sect.

Everything went smoothly and soon, the construction of the new main sect for the Flying Sword Sect officially began.

Given that most of the building materials for the new main sect had already been gathered in the rapidly growing city at the base of the Ninth Star Peak, this was not a problem at all, as transporting the materials to the Seventh Star Peak had been made easy by the fact that Xuan Hao had given Feng Chen over a dozen interspatial rings to make this process faster.

Not to mention, Shu Yao could also use her domain to help carry the building materials to the Seventh Star Peak.

The only thing that was weird when it came to the construction of the new main sect, was that even after Elder Song had recovered, Feng Chen was still the one taking care of the construction of the new main sect together with Shu Yao and Zu Fei.

How they had managed to convince Elder Song to let Feng Chen stay at the sect construction site while he took care of the day-to-day management of the sect was a complete mystery…

Xuan Hao did not really care about any of this, as he spent most of his time focused on training both Qing Yi and Bai Ning. Focusing most of his attention on helping the two adapt to their new strength, as Qing Yi had just reached the Core Formation Realm, while Bai Ning had just reached the Foundation Establishment Realm.

Like this, the days in the Flying Sword Sect slowly passed, days turning into weeks and soon a month passed.

…

”Finally, back…” Spending close to a month to return to the Flying Sword Sect, Chu Yang could not help feeling a sense of happiness upon seeing his master’s mountain peak in the distance.

At this point in time, he could clearly feel that the exotic energy had not been completely eliminated by the Devil Immortal Jade and was slowly starting to show signs of recovering, something Chu Yang wanted to prevent at all costs!

Having spent such a long time to return from the Small River Town was not because he had ended up getting lost along the way or something along that line. Instead, it was because he had ended up encountering a group of Core Formation Realm demonic cultivators on his way back!

The Core Formation Realm Experts were all close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm, so Chu Yang had no way to deal with them with his current strength and could only escape. Hoping that the demonic cultivators would soon give up and stop chasing after him.

Unfortunately, this did not happen…

Only after being chased all over the place for close to three weeks was, he lucky enough to encounter a Nascent Soul Realm Expert from the Spring Flower Sect making her wat towards the Shattered Star Peaks who helped him out, who easily dealt with the group of Core Formation Realm demonic cultivators.

After telling her that he was a disciple from the Flying Sword Sect, she was even kind enough to help him get back to the Flying Sword Sect.

If not for her help, Chu Yang had no idea how long it would have taken for him to get back again…

”Her name was Shen Xuefeng if I remember correctly…” Remembering the awesome power displayed by the elder from the Spring Flower Sect as she smashed the group of demonic cultivators to death with a giant hammer, Chu Yang felt that he should repay the elder from the Spring Flower Sect in the future when he got stronger.

Reaching the peak of the mountain and seeing his master’s pavilion in front of him, Chu Yang rushed inside to find his master.

After all, only his master would be able to help him deal with the exotic energy showing signs of reappearing inside his dantian!

…

”Hm? You lost your communication talisman… The Burning Mountain Range… Exotic energy…?”

Hearing his disciple describing what he had experienced during his time outside the sect, Xuan Hao was at first surprised before feeling worried. At the same time, he also felt rather dumb for the fact that he had not thought about what to do in case one of his disciples lost the communication talisman.

In the future, it would be a good idea to keep in contact with his disciple running around outside the sect at least once a week… Just to make sure that they still had their communication talisman on them and could contact him in case something happened.

However, for now, the main thing Xuan Hao focused on, was the exotic energy mentioned by Chu Yang. According to him, the exotic energy was what had allowed him to reach the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm so quickly… But at the same time, it also put him in mortal danger!

If not for the fact that Chu Yang had told him about the exotic energy, Xuan Hao would have thought that the reason for his rapid increase in strength had something to do with the young master he encountered.

Thinking about it, it seemed like Chu Yang and the young master he had encountered did not interact with each other and had merely passed by one another, a rather lucky considering that Chu Yang had no way to contact him in case the powerful expert behind the young master found by the system showed up…

Swish~

”Hm?” Deciding to get started on removing the exotic energy that Chu Yang had told him about inside his dantian, Xuan Hao could not help frowning upon seeing the situation inside his disciples dantian.

Compared to the normal golden core he had expected to see upon entering his disciples dantian, the golden core was blood red as it gave off an eerie feeling. Making Xuan Hao think that he had entered the dantian of some demonic cultivator.

Only after feeling the blood red golden core with his divine sense did, he realize that there was nothing wrong with his disciples dantian, as the qi inside both his dantian and golden core was normal. Albeit being blood red in colour.

WHOOSH-!

Finding the exotic energy that Chu Yang had talked to him about only a short time later, Xuan Hao directly used his strength as a domain lord to eliminate it.

”That should be it, you should return to your room to recover.” Muttering this to himself as he did a quick scan of his disciple’s entire body to make sure there was no more exotic energy present, Xuan Hao directly instructed Chu Yang to go recover.

The reason he needed to recover was that during the process of the exotic energy being erased, it had also erased a large quantity of the qi that Chu Yang had stored in his dantian.

Although this would not cause any permanent damage, it would still force Chu Yang to spend a few weeks recovering the qi he had just lost.

”Yes, master!” Feeling his dantian almost empty out all of a sudden, Chu Yang’s face turned slightly pale as he said this before making his way back to his room to recover the qi he had just lost.

Like this, all his disciples were back again and with nothing really happening over the next few months while the new main sect was being built, Xuan Hao decided to spend the next few months training his three disciples, while at the same time improving his own skills and techniques.
