Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Having returned to the Seventh Star Peak together with the blue deer, Xuan Hao found Shu Yao and asked her to look after the blue deer, as he wanted to return to the Main Peak and investigate the ancient temple without having to worry about anything happening to the blue deer.

”You want us to look after this blue deer... with scales?”

”Yes, I hope you will look after it for me!”

”Sure, but-”

Swish-!

Hearing her agreement, Xuan Hao immediately left without any delay before making his way back towards the Main Star Peak. Leaving behind a speechless Shu Yao, who could only stare blankly in the direction he had left in without knowing why he was in such a hurry.

”...”

Turning around to look at the weird deer like creature Xuan Hao had suddenly left with her before disappearing, Shu Yao had no idea what to say. Not to mention explaining where it had come from, Xuan Hao had not even told her if it was some sort of dangerous demon beast!

Coo?

Although... Looking at the innocent stare filled with confusion directed towards her, Shu Yao had a feeling that the blue deer was not some kind of dangerous demon beast. At the very least, she expected that Xuan Hao would have told her if the blue deer was some kind of dangerous demon beast before leaving it to her...

”Hm? Core Formation Realm!?” It was only at this moment that Shu Yao discovered that the innocent looking blue deer was actually a Core Formation Realm demon beast. Not only that, but it was actually close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm!

”Elder Xuan... Just where did you find such an obedient demon beast...?” Muttering this to herself as she stared at the seemingly harmless blue deer in front of her, Shu Yao could not help remembering her brief encounter with the demon beasts of Flying Sword Sect a few days ago.

The encounter back then had completely shifted her perspective on demon beasts to the point that she had momentarily forgotten how tamed demon beasts normally behaved...

Well... Although the experience had ended up shocking for her, it had been even more shocking for those demon beasts. Especially considering she had made sure to take good care of one of the more arrogant once after getting permission from Feng Chen!

Coo!

Seeing Shu Yao suddenly show a weird smile while looking towards it, the blue deer suddenly felt a shiver run down its spine-

Swoosh~

As it quickly ran towards the nearest exit before escaping!

”...”

Not knowing whether to laugh or cry upon seeing the little blue deer escaping, Shu Yao could only blame the fact that she hadn’t eaten anything today like she had grown used to since the construction of the new sect started before chasing after the blue deer.

After all, with its strength close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm, it could cause quite a bit of damage. Not to mention the fact that some of the elders might attack it, thinking that it’s a wild demon beast that somehow got into the sect.

...

”How in the world did a sect located so far away from the core region even manage to nurture a Domain Lord?”

At the same time Xuan Hao was returning to the Main Star Peak, a man dressed in a fierce looking suit of armour landed a short distance away from the Flying Sword Sect with the flying demon beast he was sitting on top of.

Glancing towards the Flying Sword City that was located in front of the Flying Sword Sect in the distance, the man patted the head of the flying demon beast before leading it towards a river not too far away from where they had landed.

”Stay here and wait for me, I will be back shortly.” Saying this after quickly scanning his surroundings, the man slowly began making his way towards the Flying Sword City that could be seen bustling with activity in the distance.

”...”

The flying demon beast that was left behind seemed to have understood what the man said, as it laid down in the shade of a nearby tree just next to the river.

Rustle~!

The few weaker demon beasts drinking from the river instantly fled upon seeing the flying demon beast.

This was an understandable reaction from these demon beasts, as the flying demon beast was actually a Nascent Soul Realm demon beast! Far stronger than any demon beast that these weak demon beasts located just next to the Flying Sword Sect had ever seen in their life!

From the strength of this flying demon beast, it could also be seen that the man who had flown on top of it was not someone normal!

...

”Hm... It looks like everyone here is quite busy, I wonder if something big happened recently?” Entering the Flying Sword City without any effort, the mysterious man could not help showing a slightly surprised expression after seeing just how busy things were inside the Flying Sword City.

Given that the Flying Sword City was located just next to a sect with a Domain Lord in it, there was no way things would be as chaotic as they were now... Unless something big had happened!

”What happened for everyone to be so busy?” Thinking about this, the man grabbed a random person running past him and asked in a commanding tone.

”Huh? The Flying Sword Sect is beginning to move a new group of disciple and elders to the new sect together with some more building materials! Everyone needs to lend a hand to make sure nothing goes wrong. Especially considering the Sect Master is no longer at the Flying Sword Sect and Elder Song is the one in charge!”

Whoosh~

Seemingly too occupied with other thoughts, the person who had been grabbed by the man carelessly answered the question before freeing himself to join a group of people in carrying several smaller crates filled with different things towards the entrance to the Flying Sword Sect.

”Moving... The Flying Sword Sect relocated...?” Muttering this to himself as he went over what the person, he had grabbed just told him, the man with the rather fierce armour on could not help frowning as he realized that he might have ended up coming to the wrong location.

The person he needed to speak to, was the sect master of the Flying Sword Sect. Not some random elder than had been left in charge of things while the sect master was not present!

I can’t be sure what that person said is one hundred percent certain... I will have to ask a few more people to make sure that the Flying Sword Sect did indeed relocate too somewhere different.

Shaking his head as he thought about this, the man quickly began asking the people around him about the Flying Sword Sect, the whereabouts of the sect master, where they were moving and so on.

Of course, a man walking around in a fierce looking armour and asking about the sect master and the Flying Sword Sect did not go unnoticed, as Elder Song soon managed to learn about this through several members belonging to the servant quarters that had been left in charge of monitoring the Flying Sword City for any potential intruders that might have snuck inside!

...

”I wonder where this person is from... Given his attitude and arrogance when asking questions, he should not be from any of the nearby kingdoms and sects. Not to mention, he already knows that the Flying Sword Sect has the backing of a Domain Lord, yet he shows no fear and still acts like this...”

Observing the man in question a few minutes after being informed about him, Elder Song could not help putting on a thoughtful expression as he watched the unknown man that had entered the Flying Sword City ask the people walking past him all sorts of questions regarding the Flying Sword Sect.

”Hm... Is he perhaps from one of the three major religious powers inside the Sky Empire? But why would they come to the Flying Sword Sect... Unless it has something to do with the appearance of the Church of the Plague God? Then again, they have already been dealt with and should not have appeared in quite some time...

Maybe it’s not the three major religious powers... But instead, someone from the Sky Empire!” Thinking out loud to himself as he continued observing the man walking around asking questions, Elder Song felt like it made sense.

”Is it perhaps related to the sect alliance Shu Yao mentioned?” Remembering something Shu Yao had told him around half a year ago during one of their many meetings regarding the construction of the new sect, Elder Song could not help frowning.

I should probably contact Shu Yao about this...

Shaking his head as he realized that it would properly be best for someone stronger than him to represent the sect when it came to taking care of something like this, Elder Song pulled out a communication talisman before contacting Shu Yao.
