Chaotic Sword God

After leaving the top floor of the Primeval Divine Hall, Jian Chen paid a visit to the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. When he arrived in this paradise-like world, he could not help but relax.

The Sword Sect of Violet Heavens was even more beautiful than before. Spiritual birds took to the skies as spiritual beasts roamed the mountains. From time to time, the cries of all the birds and beasts would echo through the land, adding a sense of vigour to the entire world.

Spiritual Qi was extremely abundant inside the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. It came nowhere close to the Skyscraping World, but it was completely sufficient for the needs of the disciples of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens.

It had been a very long time since Jian Chen roamed the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. This time, he walked around the place calmly with the mentality of a passerby. He did not use the senses of his soul, only using his eyes to see the world. He visited the various mountains and rivers.

He passed by many places of cultivation belonging to the disciples of the sect and clearly saw the disciples of various strengths sitting in their dwellings, focused on cultivation.

He also saw many disciples of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens gathered together in groups of three and five, either sparring with one another or holding intense conversations, sharing their experiences.

Along the way, Jian Chen saw how the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens was brimming with vigour. It was like the rising sun, gradually growing stronger with each passing moment and shining brighter.

Even though the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens was now isolated from the outside world, residing in a completely sealed space, Jian Chen did not see any negative emotions from these disciples.

It was as if none of these disciples cared about this so-called sealed environment. Every single one of them cultivated furiously and absorbed the spiritual Qi of the world greedily, absolutely enchanted by it.

Many of these disciples had all experienced the tougher times of the sect, when spiritual Qi was thin and resources were lacking. During a time like that, even cultivation had become a luxury.

Now, they had an endless amount of cultivation resources, and they would even receive an abundant amount of heavenly resources and pills every once in a while. This was a time that many disciples could only once dream of.

All of the disciples of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens were extremely satisfied with the current state of the sect.

Jian Chen passed many mountains wrapped in spiritual Qi and reached the main peak at the centre very soon.

The main peak was no longer a place that regular disciples could visit. As a result, the main peak was extremely quiet. Only the Divine Hall of Violet Heavens that represented the glory of the entire sect stood there quietly.

This was formerly the residence of the sect master of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. Even though Jian Chen rarely ever visited this place, its divine status in the sect was unshakeable.

Two Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals sat beside the entrance with their legs crossed. They were solemn.

Jian Chen recognised the two of them. They were once core disciples of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens, possessing substantial status, but now, they had been arranged to guard the entrance of the Divine Hall of Violet Heavens.

“You have such a great environment for cultivation, yet you’re here guarding an empty hall. Aren’t you just wasting time? You don’t have to guard this place. You can go and cultivate,” Jian Chen showed himself and said to the two of them.

“S-sect master!” Seeing how Jian Chen had suddenly appeared, the two Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals were alarmed. They immediately stood up and bowed out of respect.

In their impression, ever since the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens was rebirthed in flames, the sect master had become elusive. Rarely did they ever see him.

Now, after all these years, they finally saw Jian Chen again. They were obviously filled with unspeakable joy. They were extremely emotional.

By now, Jian Chen had become something akin to a god in the eyes of the disciples of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. It was nothing like back then on the Reverent Observance Heaven.

“Sect master, the Divine Hall of Violet Heavens is a sacred place to the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. How can such an important place remain unguarded? We’re not just guarding the Divine Hall of Violet Heavens but also the dignity of our Sword Sect of Violet Heavens!”

“Being able to guard the Divine Hall of Violet Heavens is our utmost honour. Please let us keep this opportunity. We definitely won’t let you down. We’ll do everything that we can…” the two Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals said respectfully.

Jian Chen could not bear to disappoint them when he was met with the two Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals’ eager gazes, so he said nothing else. He allowed the two of them to remain here.

Jian Chen did not enter the Divine Hall of Violet Heavens. Right when he was about to leave the main peak, a wondrous fragrance of pills filled his nose. Jian Chen shifted his gaze and looked in the direction of the smell. In the next moment, he vanished.

When he appeared again, he was already elsewhere. Several figures gathered around a huge cauldron as the heavy smell of pills wafted out endlessly.

The figures involved Dan Chenzi from the Hall of Alchemy, Lin Sen from the Divine Wood clan, and a few Immortal Emperors that Jian Chen had previously saved from the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants.

The nine Immortal Emperors gathered around the cauldron and engaged in chitchat. They seemed to get along extremely well.

“The Spirit Transformation pills are almost complete. Dan Chenzi, have you learnt it yet?”

“Dan Chenzi, we have seven people as witnesses for this bet. According to the rules, not only do you have to give us three mid grade God Tier pills each, but you also have to give Lin Sen a mid grade God Tier pill formula…”

“Hahaha, out of the entire sect, your Hall of Alchemy is the wealthiest. Dan Chenzi, perhaps it’ll cost you a bit this time…”

“Let me think about it. Dan Chenzi, if you lose, you better give us three mid grade God Tier pills for recovering cultivation. After all, the divine formation takes quite a toll. We need to make ample preparation ourselves so that we don’t end up dragging everyone down when it matters most…”

The seven Immortal Emperors that Jian Chen had saved from the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants smiled. The person refining the pills this time was not Dan Chenzi but Lin Sen of the Divine Wood clan.

Before the colossal cauldron, the leader of the Hall of Alchemy, Dan Chenzi, was stern. He stared straight at the cauldron engulfed in flames. Gradually, his eyes became filled with reluctance and sighs.

By now, the pills in the cauldron seemed to be complete. Lin Sen formed a seal with his hand before suddenly pressing it against the cauldron. With a rumble, flames gushed out and the lid of the cauldron rushed into the air. Nine round pills flew out, which Lin Sen caught in one fell stroke.

Gazing at the nine pills, there was a hint of exhaustion on Lin Sen’s face. He carefully stored the pills away in a jade bottle before looking at Dan Chenzi and smiling. “Have you learnt how to refine Spirit Transformation pills?”

A light of deduction flashed through Dan Chenzi’s eyes. In the end, he let out a gentle sigh. “You’re right. Outsiders are indeed unable to refine Spirit Transformation pills. There are indeed some other necessary conditions for refining this pill. Our Hall of Alchemy does not meet these conditions.”

“Hahaha, Dan Chenzi, you’re dreaming if you think you can replace my importance to senior daemon flower. Even in our Divine Wood clan, I’m the only one who can refine Spirit Transformation pills of this quality.” Lin Sen laughed.

“A loss is a loss. Dan Chenzi, give us our pills…”

“Hahaha, serving as your guarantor is pretty good. I’ve earned three mid grade God Tier pills so easily…”

The Immortal Emperors urged. They were in a great mood.
