Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 417: Chapter 415:Bloodline/Physique Restruct.

[DING!]

:-

Before the details could begin showing themselves, a thought struck me,

”Hey, Shaia.”

”Hmm? What?”

”Why are my bloodlines still wearing the tags ”chaos” and ”outer-source”?”

”What are you talking about now?”

”Well, I’m just saying, if I’m such a big deal, then shouldn’t my bloodlines be what I say they are? And why the fuck is there a dragon attached to the outer-source one?” I was already feeling annoyed at the ”dragon” attached to oblivion.

”For your first question, I don’t think it works like that. No matter how special you are, you’re still in essence a being of chaos and the outer-source. As for your second question, I believe the system just chose the most epic-sounding or looking thing in your mind,” was Shaia’s reply, but,

”I call bullshit, my love.”

”What?”

”A one-of-one existence, yet I’m forced to bear the same tags as everyone else? If I’m so special, then my bloodlines should reflect that. And about the other thing, fuck dragons. The most epic being in my mind is and will forever be ME!”

”Well, too bad. Your ego can’t have its way here.”

”And who gets to decide that? It’s MY system. They’re MY bloodlines. I get to decide what they are, and I say they are ABSOLUTE.”

”Dante, stop fooling around, you can’t—”

[DING!]

”What!?”

[Bloodlines and physique designation in process...]

”No. There’s no way...” I grinned at Shaia’s disbelief as the system confirmed it for her:

[DING!]

[Process completed...]

[ -> .]

[ -> .]

....

....

”This... what... how?”

I ignored the stuttering Shaia, my ego fully bloated as I finally got on with checking out my bloodlines...

...

:-

An ABSOLUTE bloodline unbound by the distinctions of other bloodlines. All bloodlines, regardless of origin, may be assimilated into it.

[EFFECTS]:

1. Bloodline Assimilation: Assimilate any bloodline into your own, regardless of its origin.

2. Absolute Comprehension: What’s yours is mine. Instantly comprehend and acquire any technique or skill witnessed.

3. Bloodline Restoration: Return any acquired and assimilated bloodlines to their true and original states.

4. Touch of The Absolute: You’re a being born from impossible circumstances; the norm is not where you belong. All bloodlines touched by The Absolute have their defined limits rewritten and elevated.

5. ??

.....

:-

An ABSOLUTE physique unbound by the distinctions of other physiques. All physiques, regardless of origin, may be assimilated into it.

[EFFECTS]:

1. Physique Assimilation: Assimilate any physique into your own, regardless of its origin.

2. Absolute Adaptation: What fails to kill you loses its effectiveness against you. Adapt without limit.

3. Physique Restoration: Return any acquired and assimilated physiques to their true and original states.

4. Touch of The Absolute: You’re a being born from impossible circumstances; the norm is not where you belong. All physiques touched by The Absolute have their defined limits rewritten and elevated.

....

I had to take a pause here, because,

”Damn...” Shaia’s thoughts were exactly as mine.

What the hell was I reading right now?

The first two effects of my bloodline and physique were nothing new, yet the wording had changed. What were effectiveness increases had been removed. Instead, I get the ability to now be able to assimilate any and all physiques. One should know, this means even other chaos beings and outer-source beings, as Shaia had repeatedly tried to make me understand were super scary, even those ones weren’t exempt from my hands.

”Damn...” And then, as if that wasn’t enough, we had the other two bombshells.

Bloodline/Physique Restoration.

Touch of The Absolute.

The first of them being something that was quite honestly terrifying. What with it allowing me to return any bloodline/physique to its true and original state, couldn’t I just go devour a fucking lizard and use this to return its bloodline to a divine dragon’s or something? Same thing with the physique?

And what’s even more stupid is the other one, Touch of The Absolute. I may have just been trying to soothe my ego by forcefully changing the names, but it seemed the bloodlines and physique took it personally.

Because tell me what you mean by forcefully overriding an already set limit, then elevating that bloodline.

Wouldn’t that mean I could easily elevate my already ridiculous ABSOLUTE bloodlines and physiques?

I didn’t even let the thought settle before trying it out.

”Touch of The Absolute.” My target was simple.

”Elevate the Oblivion Bloodline of The Absolute.”

[DING!]

[Forceful limitation override in progress...]

[Forceful elevation in progress...]

”It’s... it’s actually working?” I couldn’t believe my eyes. I hadn’t tried it on ABSOLUTE Genesis because I didn’t want to mess with things, but to think it was actually working.

”Dante, this...” Shaia’s voice had gone muted. Even she couldn’t believe what she was witnessing, yet just when my anticipation was about to peak:

[DING!]

[Limitation Override failed...]

[Forceful Elevation failed...]

[Existence level too low. Increase existence level.]

”Failed...” Of course it did. But, ”Heh!” I wasn’t disappointed.

Not in the least. After all, ”Existence level, huh?” It didn’t fail because it was impossible. No. It failed because apparently I had yet to meet the requirements. Which means,

”Once I’ve reached a high enough existence level, I can eventually raise the limits of these bloodlines.” Once again, I was getting excited.

I hadn’t even seen the most of these ones, but the thought of being able to go above and beyond? Yeah, sign me up.

”Hoo... alright then. Onto the next.”

I was done with the ones I knew; now, time for the ones that are new.

[DING!]

:-

An ABSOLUTE bloodline belonging to The First Oblivion. He who shall remain when all else cease to be.

[EFFECTS]:-

1. Oblivion Devour: Devour the existence of a target, erasing it completely.

2. Oblivion Resistance: All forms of existence erasure and destruction are rendered ineffective.

3. Oblivion Breath: Exhale the essence of Oblivion. Whatever it consumes is erased.

4. End of Remembrance: Oblivion erases more than flesh. Memories, records, history, and all traces may be devoured.

5. ??

....

:-

An ABSOLUTE physique forged from the purest essence of Oblivion. Its existence stands beyond conventional physical limitations.

[EFFECTS]:

1- Oblivion Form:

The physique exists beyond conventional physical limitations.

2- Devouring Flesh:

Anything that makes direct contact with the physique may be consumed by Oblivion.

3- Endbringer’s Body:

The physique carries the inevitability of an ending. Prolonged contact accelerates the decay of all things.

4- Absolution:

Every aspect of the physique carries the essence of Oblivion.

....

”I give up.” That was all I could muster. I couldn’t anymore.

Because, ”What in actual fuckery am I looking at?” Just what was this?

Permanent erasure? Not just the being, but of his or her entire existence? Memories? Records? Everything gone? While I myself was effectively immune to any of this? So I was a walking delete button that couldn’t be deleted myself.

”Yeah, what?” And then we had the physique.

The bloodline was already scary, and then we compound it with the physique, then you get something absolutely nasty, because how do you even begin to fight something you can’t touch physically or otherwise? Yet that same person could just breathe and delete your whole existence?

How do you fight something you can’t touch, yet that thing has a way of touching you regardless of what you did?

I hadn’t even checked out my origins yet. But I knew my origin of denial was capable of such, point and case being Shaia currently snuggled up in shock in my embrace.

So, I was basically a walking tag delete that couldn’t be tagged and deleted.

....

....

”Is it bad to feel sorry for my enemies?” I couldn’t help muttering.

”I... I wouldn’t get carried away, my love.” Shaia, my beautiful voice of reason, finally snapped out of her shock.

”Hmm? Why do you say that?” I asked, curious.

”Hoo... because most of these things could be bypassed by a chaos or outer-source being with a ridiculously high existence level.”

”Existence level?”

”Yes. So, while your abilities are indeed horrifying in nature, I would prefer if you don’t let them get to your head. Our foes are not those within this creation, not right now. What we face are those beyond it, so please, my love, remain grounded.” Her voice was pleading.

It would seem the events of our past still haunted her like they did me.

But, ”You don’t have to worry. I won’t make that mistake.” I wasn’t going to get over my head because of some broken abilities.

I still recall clearly how helpless I felt when Eldritch looked at me, and I had my origin of denial fully functional then, so I wasn’t about to start getting cocky.

”Hooo... baby steps, D. Baby steps.”

Letting out a long breath, I finally took my eyes from the extremely tempting effects of my bloodlines, going on to focus on something else.

I skipped over the {Comprehensions} section.

I seemed to have lost all my laws and most of my concepts, while receiving something called a {Principality}, with new concepts such as Denial and the others appearing, whilst only Begin, End, and Atmosphere remain from the old list. I was going to take my time familiarizing myself with those, but for now, I needed to get to the more important stuff, like,
