Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 410: Chapter 408:Meeting Terra

”Beautiful...”

”Woah...”

”Amazing...”

The exclamations from the others resounded nonstop as they gazed in eye widened fascination at the place we found ourselves.

I had taken the older man’s offer of meeting with Terra, and of course, the others were adamant about tagging along.

So, the moment we appeared within the core of the planet, as the older man had called it, the others began reacting like country bumpkins.

But I really couldn’t blame them.

It was a sight of wondrous beauty indeed.

Rivers of cerulean blue mana flowed like living waters through the air.

The concentrations of the laws here were so much that I could feel my understanding skyrocket without even doing anything.

”Yes... yes... yes... this is it!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!!” The maniacal cackling of Salazar filled the entire place as the man’s eyes shone with literal lights.

For a research freak like him, I was sure this was probably as close to heaven as he would come, seeing as he immediately ditched the group and disappeared into the distance to do whatever freaks did, I guess.

”It seems you find my humble realm pleasing to the eyes. I am glad.” A soothing and enchanting voice snapped everyone out of their daze as our attention turned toward the speaker, and then...

”Damn...” The word slipped out before I could stop it.

”Ughh...” I could hear Melissa groaning behind me.

”And you guys say I’m the exhibitionist? Humph.” Even Khalifa huffed as everyone stood transfixed at the woman that had just appeared before us.

With vibrant green hair, beautiful amber-green eyes, full breasts, and a voluminous ass I could view even from the front, she was basically a wet-dream version of a dryad.

Add to that the fact that the only things she had on right now were only three leaves, two covering her nipples and the last her womanhood, it was no wonder I was transfixed.

”Ugh... snap out of it, you pervert.” A chop to the head snapped me out of it as I shot Khalifa the stink eye.

”I’m sorry. Did I do something wrong?” The woman asked, approaching us gently, the way her assets swayed and jiggled with every step...

”Damn...” I was stunned once more...

”Teehee... such a pervert.” Shaia’s teasing voice snapped me out of it once again.

”Fuck. What’s wrong with me?” I couldn’t help grumbling, but really, can you blame me?

”Umm... lady, could you, maybe, not look like... that?” Melissa tried to articulate her words as nicely as possible. ”You’ll lose this pervert if you keep looking like, well, that.”

”Ahh... my deepest apologies. I just thought it right to be in my most comfortable state, but if it’s bothersome, then I shall cover up.” Saying so, a flash of green light covered her form and then, ”How’s this?” she asked.

”Well...” Mel was speechless. The only thing that changed was the fact that a few more leaves were added to her ”dress”; other than that, nothing else.

”You know what? Never mind. You’re fine.” She gave up.

”Then my deepest gratitude.” The lady bowed gently before turning toward me. ”It is finally nice to meet the Son.”

At her words, my expression changed.

”How did you...”

”She was Aunt Devouring’s last act. A place for you to grow properly.” Shaia’s voice stopped the question that threatened to leave me.

”She probably doesn’t even know what the thing she just said means, it might have only been something of an instinct in her.” I nodded.

”What do you mean by that?” I asked, just to be sure.

”I... don’t know. I just know that you’re the Son. As for whose son, my apologies, but that I do not know.” She apologized with a shake of her head.

”Hmm... it’s fine then, I guess.” I nodded. ”So, what did you—” My question got stuck in my throat as I noticed something. ”Your face...” It was scarred.

”Oh, this? Minor injuries, they shall be gone soon.” She shrugged me off.

I looked at her. Really looked, and my eyes widened. ”You... you’re hurt.” Her body was full of scars. They looked... fresh.

I stepped closer. She didn’t move.

”These wounds...” My eyes shrank as I noticed the familiar aura leaving the scars on her body. ”Mine? Are all these from my attacks?” I asked, stunned.

”Like I said, they’re but minor injuries. I seem to have a harder time recovering from the damages caused by the Son, but I will be fine.” She smiled, a beautiful expression, one not marred by her scars, but then, my eyes caught sight of an old, jagged scar on the side of her ribs...

”This...” I could recognize that energy signature anywhere. ”Heaven Rend?”

Wasn’t that the attack I had used to carve up the southern continent? Don’t tell me... ”You... do you suffer damage from every attack the planet receives?”

My words made the whole place go quiet as the others seemed to finally realize what was happening.

”I am more resilient than this most times. So even if I do suffer from the attacks the planet suffers, it’s nothing but surface-level. I recover faster than the damage holds. But the Son’s attacks seem to have something else that makes it harder to recover, hence why I look like this... I apologize for the shameful display.” She shook her head wryly.

”I’m sorry...” I was already apologizing before I knew it.

”You do not have to be. There was no other way. Your battles had to be fought, so a little damage was necessary.” Her words made the guilt feel even worse.

”May I?” I asked as I stepped closer, the distance between us vanishing as I stood before her.

She was shorter by over a head.

Her beautiful green eyes looked at me, pure, innocent.

For someone who looked like a mature woman at least my Aunt V’s age, her gaze was surprisingly pure.

Crouching down, I brushed my fingers over the scar on the side of her ribs. Her skin was smooth, like fine silk. Her body shivered at my gentle touches.

”I hadn’t been considerate of your well-being during my runs of carnage, but you’ve been enduring my recklessness all this while without complaining. I am sorry.”

”You do not have to...”

”Words mean nothing without action, so please allow me, as a woman as beautiful as you should never go around bearing the scars of a man’s recklessness.” Placing my palms on her sides, I whispered under my breath...

”Restore...”

The essence of time within the realm surged, and then...

Her body glowed a beautiful green. The scar on her side faded until all that remained was unblemished white skin. But it didn’t stop there, all the damage, new and old, the remaining scars marring her body, they all faded one by one as the world above seemed to tremble.

”Seems whatever affects you affects the world above, too...” I murmured quietly.

The light show finally died down as Terra finally appeared.

Her skin had gained a certain glow that gave her entire being a notch up in the enchantment department.

”Beautiful...” She truly was. And no, not because she was back to wearing basically nothing.

”I thank you for your assistance.” She bowed gently.

”It is what I should do. So tell me, why did you request to see me? Is something the matter?” I asked, finally getting to the main topic at hand.

”Oh, that. Well, I asked to see you because I have a request I hope you’d accept.”

”And what request is that? If it’s nothing too much, then there shouldn’t be any problems.”

”Well, I was hoping if you would take me?”

”Ehh? I’m sorry, I don’t think I heard you right. Come again?”

”I said, I wanted to ask if you, O Son, wish to take me as yours?”

...

...

”Eh?”
