Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 389: Chapter 387:Take it All

BOOOOOMMMMM!!!!

The void around us shook as my figure appeared before the Celestial, punch connecting with his shield.

WENG!!!

He stood strong, the shield taking the impact, and then...

SWIIISH!!!

The sword struck toward me.

I ignored it.

BANG!!

It connected. Nothing.

”You’ll have to do better than that, Celestial. Just because you can take what I dish out, doesn’t mean you can do me any harm either, so try not to break.”

With the Concept of Physicality, I could be as unbreakable as the concept itself, I had no need to worry about any damage, not now.

BANG!!!

Another punch connected squarely with the shield as it shone a brilliant golden light, and then...

CLANG!!! His sword struck out once more.

”DOUBLE STRIKE...”

BANG!! BANG!!

Striking out in quick succession, the blade successfully pushed me back.

The doubling of my punches’ effects proving quite formidable.

”You... it is futile, mortal. You cannot overwhelm me.” Credit to the man. His shield had taken my blows without flinching.

So...

”Why don’t I hit you instead?” Before the words even left my lips, I punched the space before me, my fist materializing right in his midsection, Inevitability making sure the attack landed regardless of how carelessly I struck, but...

”VANGUARD!!!”

A blinding golden glow engulfed the man as the phantom image of a circular golden shield covered his entire body, and then...

CRRRRAAACKKKKKK!!!!

The punch hit. The glow cracking and shattering, yet before I could react...

SWIIISH

The tip of his golden blade had appeared right at my midsection. I tried to shrug it off as usual, but...

SCHLICK...

The sound of flesh tearing apart echoed through the silence as I stood stunned, and then...

”Blergh...” coughed up, ”blood?” I couldn’t believe it.

I looked down, and right there, a massive golden sword had lodged itself in my midsection.

My shock was so great that ChaoticDenial had to activate subconsciously before I snapped out of it.

I looked up. The Celestial was grinning.

”I told you, mortal. Whatever you throw my way, I can throw back harder.” The fading glow of the golden shield phantom and my dark-golden blood painting the top of his sword were jarring to me.

This was the first time I’d been injured in how long? And it had come from my own attack...

”Heh!...” The ridiculousness of it made me laugh.

To think Inevitability would be the thing to cause me harm...

”Alright...” I tore off my top.

ROOOOOOOARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Elira manifesting with a roar in my hand.

I leveled the Celestial a sharp look, and then...

BOOM!!!

I moved.

CLANG!!!

The sounds of metal clashing against metal reverberated through the void around us as our figures clashed at speeds that made it seem like reality was having trouble catching up.

We were everywhere.

Attacks flying.

Me throwing hits that came harder and harder than the last.

The Celestial tanking everything I threw, whilst throwing it back twice as hard.

”HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yes!!! Celestial!! That’s it!”

BANG!!!

We clashed again, sending shockwaves blasting outward.

”JUST LIKE THAT!!!”

BANG! BANG!!

”You’re not disappointing me!!!”

BANG!!

I couldn’t help it. I was having the time of my life.

My figure was bloodied, with ChaoticDenial working overtime to prevent any form of damage.

I had been injured when he threw back an attack backed by Inevitability, and since then, I hadn’t stopped.

I needed to feel it. To feel the sensation of my own warm blood. And if using devastating attacks that would be thrown right back was the way to do it, then I was goddamn sure to enjoy this bout properly...

”ABSOLUTE SERIES...”

The Celestial’s expression turned grim at those words. Despite his best efforts to deflect and shield everything, some hits had still gone through.

I raised Elira up, the essence of Force, Motion, and Inevitability coursing through my body as the void twisted around her glinting axe blade. This would be perhaps the most powerful attack I’d thrown today, and that was considering the fact that I’d just used HeavenRend earlier. So I was curious... how would the Celestial take it?

”Final...

The void began trembling from the sheer magnitude of the weight my fists bore, and I could finally see dread in the Celestial’s eyes as I let it loose.

”... DEPARTURE!!!”

The attack didn’t so much as travel as it just arrived.

The Celestial wasn’t even given a chance to shield up before...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

Elira’s blade connected, wild chilly winds blasting out wildly from the impact.

SHIIING!!!

The golden shield phantom appeared automatically, but even then...

SHATTER!!

It shattered on impact.

Reformed. Then...

SHATTER!!

Again and again. The shield phantom formed just to be blasted to smithereens by the strike’s effect.

And just when I thought the Celestial was finally done...

”TRIPLE...”

My eyes shrank in sheer incredulity as I felt the suffocating pressure from the attack coming my way...

”... IMPACT!!”

I could’ve reacted. Could’ve moved. But...

”Marvelous...”

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

The void detonated as my attack was sent back at me, with three times the damage.

I couldn’t even begin to wrap my head around what three times the damage was.

I knew the horror of the attack, but the moment the rebound landed, I wasn’t given time to begin considering what ridiculous thing a three-times effect would have.

CRAAAACCCKKKKKK!!!

The void around us trembled, and even that threatened to shatter.

A massive energy shockwave blasted outward as the attack ran rampant.

”Haa... Haa.. Haa...” The Celestial’s breath came in hot and haggard.

It was clear, that attack had taken a lot out of him.

I was tempted to allow him this small taste of victory, as I could see his expression, but unfortunately...

WOOOSH!!!

With a wave of my hand, the entire force from his attack was suppressed, then dispersed.

I could see the horror finally painting his proud face.

”Beautiful... Truly, what a magnificent gift you have. To think you could take even that. I am impressed.” I cracked my neck, addressing the stunned Celestial.

”You... you... how?” The man could barely speak. And I couldn’t blame him. For someone you thought to be on the ropes to so casually shrug off your strongest move, if I were in his place, I would be stunned too.

”I already told you, Celestial. How I do what I do is of no concern of yours,” I replied, grin widening.

”That being said, I’ll take it.”

”What?”

”I said I’ll take it.”

”Mortal. What nonsense do you spew forth?”

”Your aspect. It has thoroughly impressed me, so, other than those beautiful wings, I’ll be taking it too.”

”You know what? Scratch that...” My grin turned feral as I leveled the man a predatory look.

”How about I just...

... take it all?”
