Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 374: Chapter 372:”Nice to meet you...”

Aegon Dreamless. Baron Wordseal

Heir candidates of the Dreamless ancient family, and Wordsealed ancient family. Two of the most mysterious families on terra. Unlike most of the other ancient families on terra, the Twilights, the Elowyns.... little was actually known about how their powers worked, or what limitations they truly had.

But one thing was for certain.

Barring the Draken Ancient Family, and Dragons’ nest.

These two families were arguably the most dangerous families out there.

Not because of their sheer destructive capacity, but because of the strangeness of their abilities.

And it was into these two families that both Baron and Aegon were born.

Since birth, they had been lauded as geniuses.

No. These weren’t empty titles. The Dreamless and Wordsealed families did not give out such a monicker easily. When you have descendants capable of stealing dreams and intruding them. With others capable of speaking to life whatever they wish, anyone could be dubbed a genius, but these two families took such a monicker seriously.

And it showed.

Befofe they turned twenty, they had already achieved the law comprehension stages of power.

With one having comprehended the [Major laws], , and .

The other having comprehended the [Major laws], , , and .

They were deserving proper of those titles.

By the time they turned twenty-two, they had understood these laws so thoroughly they were already ready to integrate them, but they held off, why? Because they still hadn’t been able to beat him.

The one thorn they had ever encountered in their lives.

He hadn’t comprehend a myriad laws like them.

He only two. Two laws. Yet for the better part of a decade of their years in the academy, he had remained an insurmountable wall. A figure to only chase and never catch.

The Prince of Hope and Despair, Leon Wildeheart.

A griffin, the last of his kind.

A being that with one single word. A look. Could strip you bare of all hope. Plunging you into so much despair you would quite literally wish to die, and when you did, you did.

The first time they faced him, was the last time they dared do so.

But now...

They had just arrived at a scene where that same prince. That same nightmare. The bane of the entirety of the Aeternum heavens list. Put down. Barely alive.

And right there, standing over him with a victorious grin, was...

Their thoughts froze solid as they felt a gaze akin to that of a prehistoric beast locking onto them.

Aegon. The one man excited to face all odds. All challenges.

He had consistently made it clear his desire to challenge this monster before him. Yet the moment that look fell upon them, the thought was immediately erased from his mind.

He could feel it.

Never, not once in his entire life. Not even when they had foolishly challenged the prince those years ago, had he felt it so clearly.

DEATH!

An Inescapable. Uncompromisable. ABSOLUTE. Death!

His back broke into a cold sweat instantly. His arms trembled. His teeth were almost chattering but he held them tight as he turned to his friend and brother, Baron.

His thoughts froze for a second time when he saw the state his brother was in.

Baron, the battlefiend, stood like a trembling mess. His entire garment soaked throughly from his own cold sweat. His teeth were clattering like those of a man just pulled from the icy ocean.

He couldn’t even acknowledge the look of his brother, too afraid of what movement in the presence of that monster would mean.

And then, they heard it.

A voice. Cold. Detached. Commanding...

”And who ...

.....the fuck might you be?”

Aegon stood frozen, incapacitated. His words failed to escape his lips, but luckily..

”Urgghh... you psychotic bastard... they’re... with me..” Leo’s strained voice reached their ears, his words addressing the monster locked onto them.

The moment he finished speaking...

””HAAAAAA!!!!””

Both Aegon and Baron gasped awake as they collapsed to their knees, breaths heavy.

Finally. Mercifully. That dreadful feeling had disappeared.

”Haa.. Haa..” still breathing heavily, the two looked towards the now distracted Dante as only a single thought crossed their minds.

””NEVER! NEVER FIGHT HIM!””

Sharing a look of understanding between themselves, they wisely distanced themselves from the two within the crater as they tried to get a hold of themselves.

......

I slowly took my eyes off the two intruders as Leo’s voice reached my ears, my focus finally returning to the now shrunken chicken-cat.

”Urgghh... fuck! Dante! What the fuck was that??” He cursed out the moment he regained himself.

”Heh! Not willing to speak with intent again?”

”Motherfucker!!! You almost killed me!!!!”

”Nah! You’re way more durable than that. If you broke easy, then the old man would’ve probably done the job ages ago.” I shrugged.

”This fucker! After searching for you all over, this is how you greet me?”

”Motherfu... stop bitching, you fucking cat! Don’t act like you wouldn’t have done the exact same if you could!”

”But I didn’t!!”

”Because you can’t!”

”Fuck you dante!!”

”Likewise you chicken-cat!”

A heavy silence fell between both of us. As we took a short break from all the yelling, and then...

”So, who are the wussies you’re tagging along with? Finally decided to recruit come assistants? I’ve got a pretty nice one myself. He’ll bitch slap yours though.” I said with a shrug.

”Assistants? What the hell are you on about? Do they look like assistants to you?”

”So what are they? Slaves? Does the old man even allow you to keep such things?” I asked, intrigued.

”This fucking.... They’re not slaves or assistants. They’re students of the academy. Just like your foolish ass.”

”Ehh?” I paused. Turning my head, I leveled a proper look at the two currently recuperating behind us.

Sighting the golden insignia on their clothes my eyes widened..

”Oh.. supreme court wussies. No wonder.” I nodded.

”No wonder what, you fucker?”

”No wonder they’re pathetic. They chose you to lead the way.”

”Motherfucker!!!” Leo roared, about to attack when...

CRASHHHH!!!

A bright crimson wave of entropy crashed between us as shulvan appeared.

”Master... shall I take care of the inconvenience...” he had barely finished his words when a massive claw swatted him flying..

BANG!!!

Shulvan’s body tumbled until it got out of sight.

”Inconvenience your mother!” Leo spat.

”Hey!! You just slapped my assistant to kingdom come.” I yelled.

”Next time get a more sensible assistant.”

”This fucking...”

”Pfft.... Hahahahahahahahaha..” Salazar’s irritating laugh came from above as the bastard slowly descended.

”To think there would be someone else capable of putting up with this man’s massive ego.”

”Salazar. What the hell do you mean by that?” I growled.

”Oh. Nothing! Nothing. Don’t mind me, I’m just here to introduce myself to this friend here.” His eyes brightened as he studied Leo like some piece of art.

”Fascinating. A griffon from the outside. I’ve never seen one before. Mainly because none ever pass through the city of ages.” He began assessing Leo in that annoying way of his.

”Look at his wings. And those claws. And that golden beak... majestic.” I could see Leo visibly losing his patience at every word that came out of Salazar’s mouth, until eventually...

”Bitch!!! What the fuck are you doing!?” He roared as his wings slapped out.

BANG!

Salazar caught the attack, using the momentum to push himself back as he steadied himself like some acrobatic before landing softly.

”Hahahaha... that was fun!” The psychopath laughed.

”Motherfucker! Who’s this guy??” Leo growled.

”Hahahaha.. sorry about that. I didn’t mean to come on too strong, I was just a bit excited.” Salazar apologized softly.

”Please, allow me to introduce myself, I am Salazar Aethern, it’s nice to meet you..”

*******

A/N: The gang is slowly reassembling. All that remains is the monkey. And damn, Leo, why you gotta do my boy shulvan like that? Anyways...
