Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 516, I Can Take You to Find That Dragon Tamer

Translator: Silavin

Chen Tianzhi’s Armoured Earth Dragon had just emerged from the Summoning Array, still holding its head high and proud, roaring loudly, displaying its fierce and domineering presence.

However, when it saw the Divine Bone Flying Dragon and other Skeletal Monsters flying above its head, it immediately shrivelled up, its face filled with terror.

The Armoured Earth Dragon did not even have time to release its Skills before a Flying Bone Spirit swooped through the air, his arms transformed into bone blades, effortlessly slicing the Armoured Earth Dragon in two.

Instantly, the Armoured Earth Dragon let out a mournful cry. Blood gushed out everywhere, its corpse crashing to the ground with a thunderous boom.

Chen Tianzhi could only watch as his Armoured Earth Dragon got killed, his eyes turning bright red.

He had fought alongside this Armoured Earth Dragon for nearly a year, and it would be a lie to say there was no emotional bond between them.

Now that the Armoured Earth Dragon was gone just like that, Chen Tianzhi felt as if his heart had been stabbed!

However, there was nothing he could do about it. He was currently only Level 34, and the Armoured Earth Dragon was merely Level 31. Whereas the Flying Bone Spirit was a Level 80 Elite Monster. There was an insurmountable gulf between them.

It was not difficult for the Flying Bone Spirit, with its off-the-charts Agility Attribute, to instantly kill the Armoured Earth Dragon.

Although the Armoured Earth Dragon had died, if Chen Tianzhi had not summoned it just now, the Flying Bone Spirit that swept through the air would have landed its bone blades on Chen Tianzhi’s head instead.

So, the Armoured Earth Dragon had essentially drawn its attack away from Chen Tianzhi.

However, merely attracting the attack from one Flying Bone Spirits could not possibly save Chen Tianzhi from this situation.

After all, in the sky, Flying Bone Spirits and even more powerful Monsters were everywhere, any one of them descending to attack could easily kill Chen Tianzhi.

Moreover, with the death of the Armoured Earth Dragon, Chen Tianzhi lost his Pet Dragon, and his Professional Characteristics disappeared with it.

Now, Chen Tianzhi could not even use the Skills he could use before. Once again, his Dragon Tamer Profession had become a useless Profession.

Everything happening there naturally fell under the gaze of Divine Bone.

Because his Clone had been killed by Lu Fan, he was extremely sensitive to Dragon Bloodlines. So, when Chen Tianzhi summoned his Armoured Earth Dragon, its thin Dragon Bloodline was enough to attract the attention of the bored Divine Bone, making him take a few looks.

Seeing an Armoured Earth Dragon being so easily killed, Divine Bone snorted with disdain. “Indeed, just a lowly race with diluted Dragon Bloodline. It is not worthy of being called a Dragon at all! I don’t even have the interest to devour it. A pity this person isn’t Dragon Tamer Jin Chenghan. Otherwise, if I devour all of his Pet Dragons, my strength would definitely surpass all the Ancient God in this world!”

After saying this, Divine Bone lost interest and was about to leave.

Divine Bone’s voice was transmitted through the minds of everyone in Overseeing Heaven City.

This, of course, included Chen Tianzhi.

Chen Tianzhi only vaguely understood that Divine Bone was searching for a Dragon Tamer named Jin Chenghan.

At the time he was brought forward to Divine Bone, he was not aware of what was happening. But he was not stupid. From the words of the Liu Family Patriarch and Divine Bone, he already understood that the cause of this Monster Tide must be because this Boss was looking for a Dragon Tamer who possessed Pet Dragon. If so, who else in this world fit the bill but Lu Fan!?

Divine Bone had been searching for the so-called ‘Dragon Tamer Jin Chenghan’ in Extremistis Country. For some reason, he was adamant about this country and had no intention to go to any other country. So, many just assumed that he was looking for someone within Extremistis Country.

Logically speaking, if the other party was looking for a Dragon Tamer in Extremistis Country, no one would suspect Lu Fan.  However, Lu Fan had visited Extremistis Country before!

When Extremistis Country was in chaos, a chaos so big the Jin Family got wiped out because of it, with only Jin Zhu remaining, others might not know but how could Chen Tianzhi not know that this was all Lu Fan’s doing?

In short, he believes the one the Boss was looking for was none other than Lu Fan!

[Offending such a terrifying Boss and redirecting its hatred towards Jin Chenghan. This seemed like something he would do…] So, having figured everything out, Chen Tianzhi, while fleeing from the Monsters that were hunting down Humans, shouted loudly to Divine Bone. “I know who the Dragon Tamer you’re looking for is, and where he is! Don’t kill me, I can take you to find him! He’s extremely far away from here! If you keep searching like this, even after several years, you will not be able to find him! But I can help you! As long as you stop the killing, I guarantee you can find that person!”

Just as Chen Tianzhi finished speaking, a Flying Bone Spirit in the sky rushed towards him, raising its arms that had transformed into blades.

Chen Tianzhi keenly sensed that he was about to die, and with his current strength, he had nowhere to escape.

He closed his eyes in despair, just waiting for the other to split him in two.

However, the imagined pain did not come.

Chen Tianzhi opened his eyes, and immediately cold sweat soaked his clothes.

Because in front of him, the Flying Bone Spirit was floating there, a pair of eyes examining him, at a distance of no more than a palm’s width.

What truly terrified Chen Tianzhi was not the powerful Monster floating in front of him, but the look in this Monster’s eyes. There was clearly something it should not possess!

Although Flying Bone Spirits were Level 80 Elite Monsters, their intelligence was limited. So, their eyes could not possibly be so animated.

However, the Flying Bone Spirit in front of him was clearly intelligent, it was obvious from its eyes.

[This Flying Bone Spirit is extraordinary!] Just as Chen Tianzhi had this thought, the Flying Bone Spirit seemed to have suddenly produced some kind of suction force, which others could not sense. All the Skeletal Monsters around were disassembled and drawn towards it.

In the blink of an eye, a huge Bone Dragon appeared right in front of Chen Tianzhi. It was identical to the Monster Tide’s Boss, Divine Bone.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the Bone Dragon that had already flown to the centre of Overseeing Heaven City had disintegrated, turning into countless white bones.

Chen Tianzhi immediately understood that this entire Monster Tide was probably just one Monster!

The other party could use the bodies of other ‘Monsters’ within the Monster Tide to freely assemble its own body, which was why the scene just now had occurred.

[This Boss isn’t something Humans can kill…] Chen Tianzhi instinctively gulped.

At this point, Divine Bone had appeared in front of Chen Tianzhi. Although other ‘Monsters’ were still rampaging within Overseeing Heaven City, no Monster came to harm Chen Tianzhi.

Divine Bone lowered his head to look at Chen Tianzhi and calmly asked. “You say you know where the person I’m looking for is? Are you sure you’re not lying to me? You should be able to imagine what the consequences are if you’re lying to me, right!?”
