Wizard: Scamming a Demon God

Chapter 132: Chapter 116: Southern Empire

”Alright, let’s do it.”

The plan was so feasible that Isaac had no reason to refuse. Besides, he didn’t have any other plans. As for the future cultivation of Demonized Flesh...

Isaac planned to keep that in his own Dimension. The cultivation of Demonized Flesh would become his most core industry, as it was directly linked to his own combat capabilities!

”By the way, how is the Saint Master’s performance? Has he gotten the hang of things?”

”He can handle most tasks now. The only difficult part is collecting materials from Demon Rats. He still can’t properly control his Dragon Might and strength, so he can’t gather the materials without injuring them.”

”Is that so? That’s good enough. In that case, prepare yourself over the next two days. You’re coming with me on a long trip. The Saint Master and Smith will stay behind to guard the castle.”

”Yes, Master.” Liu Li didn’t ask any questions, simply nodding in agreement.

’As long as I’m not the one staying behind, it’s fine!’ 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

”Alright, that’s settled then.” With that, Isaac stood up and returned directly to his laboratory.

After more than a month of stabilization, the turbulence in his Mana had completely subsided. He had also found a suitable ritual for his advancement. By the time he returned from this trip, he would be a Grand Wizard!

Then, many of his plans could officially begin—most importantly, the ’Eldest Princess Pays Her Debt’ plan!

’With the Empire Royal Family’s resources, Philo must have recovered somewhat by now. It’s time for the harvest.’

He was Isaac Abbot Solomon!

And he always got his revenge!

However, before he left, he needed to organize and optimize the technology for the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine and submit it. He figured that with this, he should be able to officially get involved in the formal research on bloodline purification.

Isaac had no intention of hiding the technology for the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine. For one, it wasn’t necessary. Although his repeated optimizations had made the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine far superior to the Deity transformation surgery—allowing other Wizards to achieve an initial success rate of around ten percent and making it reasonably replicable—it still couldn’t compare to his own one hundred percent success rate.

Secondly, this Magic Potion was always intended to be sold to the public. How much money could he make just by producing it himself?

For high-end products, you always sell the license!

He just had to submit this thing, let the Sect disseminate the formula, and for the rest of his life, any Wizard who produced and sold the Magic Potion would have to pay him first!

He’d be making money in his sleep!

Of course, that wasn’t the most important reason. Most importantly, Isaac wanted to use this technology to officially get involved in the major research project: the Dragon Blood Demon Bloodline Purification Research!

Compared to that, no amount of Gold Coins mattered.

This was a research project led by multiple High-level Mages. The funding it burned through every year was astronomical, and the number of technologies it both required and produced was immense.

Just a simple heart purification had yielded him so much. What would happen if he gained formal access to the related technologies?

What kind of rewards would he reap then?

Only a fool wouldn’t know which to choose!

However, formally joining wouldn’t be easy. Besides the technology for the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine, he also needed to become a Grand Wizard as quickly as possible. Theoretically, only Grand Wizards could join the Wizard Organization.

He had gotten in through the back door. While the Sect had plenty of people like him who received the standard benefits, there was no real difference in their treatment. In reality, Official Wizards like them were little more than interns.

Because aside from personal research, the entry requirement for any official, public research project was the rank of Grand Wizard. Official Wizards could only serve as assistants, submitting scraps and fringe materials.

Just as Isaac had done before.

Fortunately, Isaac was very good at advancing. Unlike other Wizards, he never had to worry about failure. So, he would organize and submit the relevant materials first. By the time the Sect finished its verification, he would have successfully advanced and returned.

Compared to the first time, which took seven days and nights, Isaac was much more efficient in his second attempt. He managed to recreate a bottle of the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine in just three days and nights, then spent another two days organizing the documentation and completing the final optimizations.

”Hoo... This should be a sure thing now.” Looking at the documents in his hand, the corners of Isaac’s mouth lifted slightly. After his optimizations, the Magic Potion’s initial success rate was now around twenty percent, assuming no mistakes were made.

Considering the powerful effects of the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine, this success rate was already astonishing!

’Tsk, tsk. At this rate, I could probably write a biography titled ’The Genius Master of Magic Potions’ by the time I’m a Grand Wizard.’

This wasn’t just arrogance on Isaac’s part. He had already researched the data on related Magic Potions. Among all of them, his Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine was absolutely the one with the most outstanding overall stats!

Compared to the immense power of a Giant Dragon, the cost of his Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine was practically nonexistent!

And an initial success rate of twenty percent was absurdly high!

After all, a qualified Magic Potion Mage could increase the base success rate by about twenty percent when brewing a new potion, for a total of forty percent. Even garbage like the Blood Essence Potion had roughly that success rate.

Besides, the success rate would naturally increase with a Magic Potion Mage’s proficiency, eventually reaching one hundred percent—though that ”eventually” was a long, long way off...

So he wasn’t worried that the technical merits of the Dragon Transformation Secret Medicine wouldn’t meet the requirements. He was more worried that some idiotic, spoiled heir would try to steal his achievement.

’But there couldn’t be an idiot like that, right?’ After all, he hadn’t hidden his identity as a Mad Witch. Who would be foolish enough to plot against him?

Shaking his head, Isaac cast these messy thoughts aside. He picked up the documents and the Magic Potion, walked to a corner of the laboratory, and activated the ritual to travel to the Sect Dimension to submit his materials.

When he returned, Smith had fallen into a deep sleep again. After checking on him and finding nothing wrong, Isaac summoned a pumpkin carriage, and with Liu Li and Shushu in tow, he left his domain and flew toward the Southern Empire.

Solomon’s Domain was located in the western part of the Empire, bordering the Endless Wilderness. Beyond their lands, there was truly nothing but wilderness. This was unlike other Border Nobility. While their borders were also adjacent to the Wilderness, it wasn’t endless—it was merely a buffer zone. Beyond that buffer lay other nations. So, those nobles had to guard not only against Demons from the Wilderness but also against other countries.

The Southern Empire was near the sea, but it wasn’t safe either. The sea was home to a federation composed of countless Sea Race tribes, both large and small.

In terms of danger, the Southern Empire was undoubtedly the most perilous border, and the one with the ”deepest waters.”

Because here, aside from Demons and the Sea Race, there were also natural disasters from the sea!

More critically, it was hard to say if they were truly *natural* disasters, as the Sea Race, Wizards, and even Demons of the Deep Sea all had the power to create them.

Normally, this was not a suitable place for an advancement ritual. The forces at play here were a tangled, complex web—so much so that if he were to die here, the Solomons Family would have little recourse.

But Isaac came anyway. This time, in addition to his advancement ritual, he also needed to deploy his White Whale Avatar. The thing was simply too massive; it could only be placed in the sea. He figured he might as well take care of it while he was here.

Besides, with his current strength, unless a High-level Knight or a High-level Mage took action personally, it was uncertain who would be the hunter and who would be the prey!
