Warlock Apprentice

Chapter 3253: Chapter 3254: Dream Mirror

Glaipnir returned and briefly discussed the situation regarding page creation.

Currently, the page creation is complete.

As previously agreed, the main responsibility for this page creation falls on Glaipnir, and this has been marked in the display booklet. However, creating a display page by a single person is unprecedented; thus, according to the rules, they also need to determine a subject for their page creation.

This subject refers to a certain force, or rather, a certain race.

”For now, the subject has not been determined, but the display booklet can communicate. I can contact the page creation hall at any time to update. Once we confirm the subject, the page creation hall will publicize our display page.” Glaipnir said, ”At that time, when other races come to add pages, they will see our display page.”

In other words, they need to decide on a subject now, so that the page creation hall can update in real time.

As for how to choose a subject? They need to discuss and then make a decision.

Glaipnir: ”Let me share my thoughts first. This subject can be named after a force or a race. We currently don’t have any force, so if we name it after a force, we can only come up with a name now. And this newly emerged force name will be unfamiliar to other races, and they might not choose to add a page upon seeing it.”

”I personally suggest naming it after a race.”

Glaipnir looked at Angel, saying, ”For example, the subject of this page could be... Humans.”

Because Glaipnir, Luigi, and others are temporal bodies of Laplace, and even Laplace herself cannot clearly define her race, which is little known outside.

Therefore, if we talk about race, ”Humans” represented by Angel is actually the most suitable.

At the very least, the major races in the Mirror Domain know of the existence of humans.

Luigi thought for a moment and said, ”The major races in the Daylight Mirror Domain have no bias against humans; using humans as the subject, I support it.”

On the side, Pika Sage, who was using the display booklet to contact other tribal leaders, also took the opportunity to say, ”The items made by humans, especially the wizards’ tools, sell quickly whenever they appear at the Ancient Ruins of Tooth Fairy.”

In other words, if they choose humans as the theme, it will definitely attract many Mirror Domain races to add pages.

Glaipnir and Luigi both support humans as the subject, but if a decision is truly needed, the two of them alone do not carry enough weight.

Luigi turned to Laplace, wanting to know what Laplace thought.

But Laplace did not immediately express her stance; she turned to Angel and asked, ”What do you think?”

Angel pondered, ”The label ’Humans’ is too large; I cannot represent humans.”

The display page is based on them, among whom only Angel is a genuine human. So, carrying the flag of ”Humans,” in Angel’s view, means representing ”Humans.”

But the term ”Humans” seems too vast and heavy to Angel, laden with the civilization’s dense grandeur... He can represent himself, but cannot represent other humans.

”You don’t need to represent humans; it’s just a name for the subject.” Glaipnir said softly, ”Just like the Singer and the Feather Forest Clan, those who come may not represent the entire race. It’s merely choosing a name.”

Angel thought for a moment; what Glaipnir said is indeed true, and he agrees with this viewpoint. However, he still feels uneasy and cannot calmly represent humans with this name.

He can only represent himself and does not agree with using humans as the subject. But, if everyone else agrees, he will not object either.

The eyes of the crowd returned to Laplace.

Her decision is particularly important at this moment. Her answer represents both herself and her actual form behind her.

Laplace’s gaze swept over the crowd, saying casually, ”I do not agree with using Humans as the subject.”

Angel was taken aback, looking up at Laplace.

Glaipnir also frowned at Laplace: ”Is it because of Angel’s decision?”

Laplace: ”Angel’s decision does indeed partially affect my judgment. But actually, from the start, I did not agree with your view.”

Glaipnir’s brow furrowed even more: ”Is my view incorrect?”

Laplace shook her head: ”No, your view is not wrong; there is just one perspective I disagree with.”

”What perspective?”

It’s not only Glaipnir who is curious but also everyone present, including Pika Sage.

Laplace: ”You think that if we name it after a force, others won’t recognize us and choose not to add a page. But using Humans as the name has the reputation base of humans, which can accumulate popularity faster. I do not agree with this.”

Glaipnir’s viewpoint, said bluntly, is... riding the hot trend.

But Laplace does not think there is a need to ride this trend.

Laplace: ”If it were before today, I wouldn’t have been opposed to your choice; but ’times have changed’, there’s no necessity to deliberately choose humans for a bit of popularity.”

Laplace intentionally emphasized her tone on the words ’times have changed’.

Luigi and Pika Sage listened somewhat puzzled, but Glaipnir lowered his brows, pondering what Laplace meant.

Before today, in order to promote the log-in device, they would use whatever means they had; as long as they could promote it, they would use anything.

After all, for other races, no matter how useful the log-in device is, it’s still something unfamiliar. It requires a process of ”acceptance” from unfamiliar to familiar.

And this ”acceptance” process requires proactive promotion; others might not be willing to engage with it otherwise.

Thus, proactive ”promotion” was necessary.

But this was before today’s thinking.

Today, after Little Xiaotao’s reminder, they learned that the Calamity Puppet has appeared within the Gloomy Ghoul Domain.

This means disaster has arrived at the doorstep of the Daylight Mirror Domain.

At this moment, for the major races of the Daylight Mirror Domain, it’s a matter of life and death. In this situation, for self-rescue, to pass the test of the Calamity Puppet, and to make arrangements, it will certainly require the log-in device.

Not only can the log-in device achieve real-time communication across the domain, if disaster strikes, it can also allow someone to enter the Crystal Origin of Dreams as an indigenous person, gaining rebirth.

It can be said that when ”disaster” strikes, the log-in device has already become a strategic level tool.

At this time, no promotion or trend-riding is necessary. Once the arrival of the Calamity Puppet is confirmed, regardless of what subject their display page uses, countless people will come inquiring about the log-in device.

Thus, Laplace does not agree with Glaipnir’s idea of trend-riding.

Laplace: ”Of course, we can still choose humans as the subject. However, given our current situation, we can be more flexible in our actions. Since Angel does not agree with this subject, we can choose other subjects as well.”

Glaipnir was silent for a moment, then nodded: ”I haven’t considered it thoroughly.”

Indeed, under the current situation, they can indeed be more flexible.

Even if we come up with a random name for our group at the moment, it definitely won’t leave the stage quietly.

Thinking about this, Wizard no longer insisted, and spoke: ”Shall we choose a name with the group as the main theme?”

Laplace expressed indifference, Luigi was indifferent as well.

Angel naturally agreed, as long as it’s not a Crown that can’t be held up, it doesn’t matter what name we use.

It was Pika Sage who, after being dazed for a moment, asked: ”Are you planning to make the Log-in Device the main product and feature it on the display page?”

Wizard nodded: ”That’s right. What is it? Any objections, Pika Sage?”

Pika Sage shook his head: ”No objections... However, since you intend to sell it, can I pre-order a batch?”

Wizard hesitated for a moment before saying: ”I’ll talk to you about it later.”

Pika Sage nodded happily, having a discussion already meant half the success.

Next, Pika Sage continued using the display booklet to contact other race leaders, while Angel began discussing the group name.

Wizard: ”Although I didn’t initially think of using the group as the main theme, now that we’ve chosen it, I still hope to take it seriously. After all, in the future, anyone entering the Crystal Origin of Dreams will regard our group as the main focus.”

As long as the Log-in Device is promoted, anyone entering the Crystal Origin of Dreams will surely think of this ”group.”

It’s as if, in the Daylight Mirror Domain, they have already been bound together as the most central group of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

Luigi also said: ”Speaking of which, we have our own territory, our own features, and a group of people. Building a group like this seems quite good?”

Laplace: ”What we’re talking about now is naming, any opinions?”

Wizard shrugged indifferently: ”I have no particular thoughts on the name, anything works. The only requirement is to take it seriously.”

Luigi: ”How about I name it? How about ’Poetry Society’? Or, ’Floating Light Society... I am like a fleeting light, illuminating a ’Daylight’ dream.”

Wizard: ”Now is not the time for singing poetry, and also, do you think your face is so big that you can illuminate the entire daylight and dream? You’re crazy, aren’t you?”

Luigi: ”The ’I’ here doesn’t necessarily mean ’me,’ it can be all of us.”

Wizard: ”I’m not interested in illuminating a daylight dream.”

Luigi: ”...”

Laplace ignored the debate between the two Temporal Bodies and looked at Angel: ”What do you think?”

Laplace had no particular expectations for Angel’s naming ability, it was just a routine inquiry.

Angel’s answer was as expected by Laplace, without any novelty.

”Heart Club?” Angel said after pondering for a moment.

Laplace said silently: ”Don’t you think it’s too straightforward?”

Angel: ”Being straightforward doesn’t seem like a bad thing?”

Laplace said nothing further, but looked at the others, compared to Angel’s straightforward naming style, Luigi’s naming seemed not bad?

After several rounds of discussion, they finally made a choice between two names.

”Immortal Realm” and ”Dream Mirror.”

The former represents the Immortal Realm of Crystal Origin of Dreams, the latter is ”Dream Mirror” rather than ”Dream Realm,” directly meaning: a mirror within a dream, which also touches on the topic of Crystal Origin of Dreams.

”Let’s vote, Immortal Realm or Dream Mirror.” Wizard: ”The one with the most votes wins.”

Wizard: ”I’ll start, I vote for Dream Mirror.”

Luigi: ”I vote for Immortal Realm, this name sounds nice, just saying it feels poetic.”

Wizard looked at Angel and Laplace: ”What about you two?”

Angel hesitated for a moment, and then said: ”I choose Dream Mirror.”

Although Immortal Realm sounds nice and has connections to Wonderland of Dreams... but, Wonderland of Dreams is not a ’simple’ authority, many Fairyland Duplication inside are quite ’tormenting,’ like Circus and Tomorrow Town, they can make people go through life and death. There will be many people entering Crystal Origin of Dreams in the future, and those tormented by the Fairyland Duplication will certainly increase.

If named ”Immortal Realm,” we might be resented, ”hating a house and its crow” during those times.

Therefore, after comprehensive consideration, Angel decided not to ride on the trend of Wonderland of Dreams, and chose the more straightforward name ”Dream Mirror.”

After Angel made his decision, Laplace also said: ”I choose Dream Mirror too.”

Three to one, in the end, ”Dream Mirror” was chosen as the main theme for the display page.

Soon, Wizard contacted the people at the page-making hall and provided the answer.

With the update from the page-making hall, the final page title in the display booklet in Wizard’s hand changed from blank to—Dream Mirror.

...

Although the birth of ”Dream Mirror” did not have the same ”announcement” on the display booklet as Singer and the Feather Forest Clan before, thanks to Pika Sage’s influence, the page-making hall started promoting it.

This promotion wasn’t particularly special; when people queued to add pages to the display booklet, Pirush staff would casually mention: ”Besides the Singer and Feather Forest Clan’s page, we also have a Dream Mirror page. If you want, we’ll add it for you.”

”Dream Mirror Clan?” Many people adding pages were puzzled by this, what kind of group is this?

Pirush staff shrugged: ”I don’t know either, maybe it’s some new group. Generally speaking, new groups should have plenty of new things, right?”

It’s actually quite hard to stimulate the interest of those merely from those ”casual” words.

But there’s a saying... since they’re here.

Since adding one more page doesn’t take much time, they’re here, so why not take a look.

There were quite a few people with this mentality, so many opted to add a ”Dream Mirror” page as well.

As more and more people chose to add the ”Dream Mirror” page, the page-making hall once again urged Wizard.

What is the purpose of adding pages?

To look at new things.

But there’s nothing on the Dream Mirror page, which clearly doesn’t conform to the rules, so they need Wizard to quickly ”put on goods.”
