Chapter 2137: Chapter 2138: Convergence

”Did it become like this as soon as it came in?” Angel asked.

Rhein stared intently at the glass bead, frowning: ”Not exactly. Initially, it didn’t float. Until the weather changed dramatically, day and night reversed, it started to emit light and floated into mid-air.”

This situation was definitely unusual.

Angel had used the Dream Conch more than once.

Each time an item was brought into the Wilderness of Dreams by the Dream Conch, it maintained the same physical state as in reality. As long as this stability was not actively disrupted, it would continue to persist.

Yet, the glass bead representing the Tide Wave Garden broke this routine.

Without any touch or activation, the glass bead floated into the air on its own, emitting a hazy water light. At the same time, the weather was undergoing drastic changes.

Clearly, the two were connected.

Based on their understanding of the Dream Conch, the Wilderness of Dreams, and the Witchcraft Garden, the current phenomena has only one possibility.

”It seems that the water system laws in the Tide Wave Garden have indeed been brought into the Wilderness of Dreams. This mysterious object from the Moonlit Coast, the Dream Conch, was indeed underestimated before,” Rhein said softly.

Angel’s judgment was the same as Rhein’s. The spontaneously occurring phenomena could only be the intersection of reality laws and virtual laws.

However, no one knew whether the current situation was good or bad.

Angel wanted to fly a little further to sense the situation up close, but before he could move, Rhein stopped him.

Rhein: ”The current situation should be the virtual laws of the Wilderness of Dreams gambling with the reality laws of the Tide Wave Garden. Although good or bad cannot be seen at present, at least it hasn’t worsened, but if you intervene as a variable, it is likely to cause changes.”

Rhein’s meaning was also clear. It was the will of the Wilderness of Dreams controlling the virtual laws to gamble with the reality laws.

Angel, as the actual controller of the Wilderness of Dreams, once he joined in, his authority would undoubtedly exceed the will of the Wilderness of Dreams. At that point, he might take over to gamble with the reality laws.

Given Angel’s current situation, the probability of failing in gambling with the laws was extremely high.

To avoid this situation, the best way was not to intervene and let the Wilderness of Dreams handle it by itself.

Understanding this point, Angel simply retreated to Rhein’s side, and like him, fixed his gaze on the faint glow floating in the darkness, silently waiting for the end of this change during the storm and thunder.

Time passed bit by bit.

Although the outcome was not yet visible, Angel could clearly feel that the Wilderness of Dreams handled it with ease, even the area covered by the dark clouds further reduced. Originheart City, originally under overcast, was now even sunny.

This all indicated that everything was developing positively.

Angel informed Rhein of what he observed, and Rhein also breathed a sigh of relief.

After confirming everything was worriless, during the waiting process, Angel finally relaxed from the urgency and found the mind to speak.

”I didn’t expect the Dream Conch could draw not only entities into the dream but even laws without entities?” Angel said with some emotion.

Upon hearing this, Rhein shook his head: ”It’s different. The Tide Wave Garden and the water system laws are one, or rather, the Tide Wave Garden is the manifestation of the water system laws. This glass bead could even be seen as the corporeal form of the laws.”

”With an entity, the Dream Conch can pull it in.”

”Without an entity to carry the laws, the Dream Conch still can’t pull it in.”

Rhein said this with evidence. Reality was filled with various laws, like air; you breathe it all the time but rarely notice its existence, laws are the same.

When Angel previously used the Dream Conch, it must have covered the space in reality. There could be a large number of reality laws existing in this space, such as element laws, space laws... but these laws without an entity weren’t pulled into the Wilderness of Dreams, indicating that the Dream Conch indeed couldn’t pull energy-formed or material realm invisible objects.

Now, the laws in the Tide Wave Garden could be drawn into the dream simply because the laws and the carrier became one and materialized.

Once materialized, it met the Dream Conch’s pulling rules.

”However, even with such restrictions, it’s still surprising. It’s not just a mysterious object; as long as it fits the rules of mysterious operation, it can even leverage laws,” Rhein shook his head and sighed lightly, ”I now really want to know how the law situation is in my reality Tide Wave Garden?”

If in the reality Tide Wave Garden, the foundation of law was intact, it meant... the Dream Conch not only leveraged the law, it might also have copied the law.

This was even more frightening.

”We’ll know after we go out and have a look,” Angel said. He was also curious about the situation inside the glass bead placed in the Exile Space.

While they were talking, a bright light suddenly pierced through the rolling dark clouds and shone straight down.

Angel and Rhein both looked up.

They saw that the dark clouds, which originally blocked out the sun and turned daytime into night, were sparser than before and even had gaps. The existence of these gaps allowed the light source above the clouds to find opportunistic chances to cast mottled beams of light onto the darkened land.

At first, it was just one beam, but as the gaps became more numerous and bigger, the number of beams increased accordingly.

The raging wind and dancing lightning serpent began to dissipate.

The silent earth and heavy air also slowed down.

All of this was indicating that the darkness was disappearing, and dawn was about to break.

When the beams of light shone on them, outlining warm golden contours, it meant that the dawn they were waiting for was not far.

Approximately five minutes later, the dark clouds completely dissipated, replaced by a clear blue sky.

The daylight was incredibly bright.

Feeling the sudden gentle sunlight, Angel completely relaxed, exhaling a long breath. Only after enduring the roaring darkness could one truly appreciate how lovely brightness is.

Even the fresh green grass was full of vitality.

Angel took a deep breath.

He even felt that the air seemed fresher than before...

”No, it really does seem fresher than before!” Angel was taken aback, that moist feeling in the air was completely different from before.

Could it be that the air in the Wilderness of Dreams had changed? With doubt, Angel immersed his mind into the Ability Tree.

After a while, Angel returned to reality.

The Ability Tree indicated everything was normal with no changes. However, when looking at the Ability Tree, it inexplicably made Angel feel as if it had become more lush?

”Perhaps it’s just an illusion?” Angel shook his head, dismissing the thought.

Now, the more important issue was, after the clouds dispersed, what was the situation with the glass bead?

...

The glass orb was no longer suspended in mid-air.

When the sunshine fell, it dropped from mid-air to the ground.

Surrounded by lush grass, that small glass orb was lost temporarily, but Angel didn’t specifically use God’s Eye to search for it because he saw Rhein walking ten meters away and stopping.

Angel also walked over and looked down.

A seemingly insignificant glass orb was quietly nestled in the thick grass.

Rhein picked up the glass orb, and the transparent glass orb rolled slightly in his palm, leaving a circle of rainbow halo as sunlight passed through it.

”It seems to be undamaged,” Angel said.

Rhein nodded: ”Externally, everything appears normal again. Although the energy fluctuations have disappeared, I can feel all the energy converging internally when it’s in my palm. To understand the specifics within the Tide Wave Garden, we need to activate it.”

Angel: ”Then let’s go in and take a look.”

Since the Tide Wave Garden had been brought into the Wilderness of Dreams, it was natural to explore the internal situation. Had the Foundation of Laws been damaged? What happened after it intertwined with virtual laws? All needed firsthand witness.

Rhein nodded and controlled the sparse virtual magic power in the Mind Space, slowly inputting it into the glass orb.

As the glass orb was activated, it started to diffuse a dim blue light while enveloping in a massive water mist.

”It’s the same as the entry method in reality, so it seems there’s no issue,” Angel whispered softly as he allowed himself to be engulfed by the water mist.

Though Rhein did not speak, he agreed with Angel’s statement. The internal space seemed unchanged, and now it was crucial to determine if there had been a transmutation in the water element Foundation of Laws.

The water mist came quickly and dissipated quickly.

When the mist vanished, Angel and Rhein again found themselves beneath that heavy Wizard’s Tower.

Before Angel could use his eyes to survey, merely listening made him aware of anomalies.

The sound of howling wind, the rustling of shaking leaves, and the roaring sea’s rolling.

Just from auditory perception, Angel was full of doubt.

Leaves? Wasn’t the tree beside the Wizard’s Tower already wilted, so where was the leaf rustling?

The sea’s rolling sound? Hadn’t the sea in the Tide Wave Garden completely transformed into a desolate place due to the depletion of the water element laws, so where was the water coming from?

With doubts, Angel glanced around.

What first came into view was the Wizard’s Tower, which seemed like it had been washed over, bringing a thick, damp moisture.

In the Little Garden beside the Wizard’s Tower, the flowers bloomed, and the trees were tall and lush.

Looking through the Little Garden, it was an endless ocean surrounding them. Waves nonstop struck against the shore, bringing white foam.

”Wilted trees revived? The seawater reappeared?” Angel looked around in disbelief, realizing they were now not on a cliff, but on a true Island amidst the sea.

The only green highland on the bluish ocean.

”What’s going on?” Angel couldn’t help but turn his gaze towards Rhein.

To his surprise, Rhein was standing dumbfounded, with eyes staring at the peak of the Wizard’s Tower.

Following his gaze, Angel saw that in the room atop the Wizard’s Tower, though doors and windows were tightly shut, he felt the massive connections of water element veins spreading out.

These water element veins connected to the sea, to the heaven and earth, and also to the Wizard’s Tower.

Angel: ”That is...”

Rhein breathed out and said, ”The reason for building the Wizard’s Tower here was because the Foundation of Laws for the Tide Wave Garden resides in that room at the peak of the Wizard’s Tower.”

”However, earlier outside, when you entered, I had already depleted all the water element laws. But now...it has replenished.”

Rhein could clearly feel that it was not just replenished; it was excessively abundant.

Just from the rolling sea surrounding, it was evident how dense water vapor was and how abundant the water element laws were.

Rhein stared at the room atop the Wizard’s Tower for a long time, suddenly shook his head with a chuckle: ”It turns out, my prior actions were unnecessary. Originally, there was no need to deplete the water element laws...we underestimated the abilities of the Wilderness of Dreams.”

Given that the will of the Wilderness of Dreams directly restored the water element laws of the Tide Wave Garden, it was evident its potential was strong.

Angel also nodded. After all, it was merely a small-scale Witchcraft Garden. No matter how potent the laws were, they couldn’t surpass the Wilderness of Dreams...which now was more of a half-formed world.

Yet, although the water element laws were immensely abundant, Angel felt something different.

”These laws seem both real and fake,” Angel whispered.

By fake, it wasn’t that the laws were deceptive; rather like magic power, they were virtual. But calling them virtual laws felt off; they still retained a portion of real law force.

”That’s indeed true. To know the specifics, a closer look will reveal,” Rhein proceeded towards the Wizard’s Tower, gesturing to Angel to follow.

Angel promptly followed, eager to closely observe the Foundation of Laws to discern its true state.

Entering the Wizard’s Tower, Angel was stunned.

Not because there was anything unusual inside the Wizard’s Tower, but starting from the first floor, each level was lined with numerous display racks, and the only item displayed on these racks was the Crystal Ball. Various sizes, various stands, various translucent hues of Crystal Balls.

The entire Wizard’s Tower was more like a Crystal Ball museum.

”These are all my collection, each Crystal Ball has a different story. If any catches your eye, I can gift you one...only within the Wilderness of Dreams,” Rhein said proudly.

Angel gave a toothless smile to politely decline.

Passing through the Crystal Ball collection area, they finally arrived at the top-floor room; even with a door in between, the continually dispersing water element veins could be felt.

Angel, in a daze, felt as if he stood at the depths of the Endless Abyss, where the Ocean Goddess, with a holy smile, stood amongst beautiful corals and shells.

After a while, Angel managed to restrain his Desire to probe into the water element veins. Following this, Angel had to admit, even a minor garden had laws with unexpectedly high vein strength.

Rhein seemed to adapt very well to the wash of water element veins, even comfortably demonstrating a water element Trick.

This was a level 2 Trick, Water Sphere Technique. Though an offensive Trick, its power was exceedingly low; most Wizards used it to create water for drinking, as the water within the Water Sphere Technique was purer and sweeter than ordinary water.

With the enhancement by the water element veins, the effect of the released Water Sphere Technique grew stronger. Clearly a tiny water sphere in the palm, it swelled to nearly a person’s-size.

Rhein rubbed it briefly before letting it dissolve naturally.

”I can confirm the meaning in the vein of laws is real. If you wish to cultivate water element Tricks across systems in the future, there’s no need to search for real-world water element gardens; this place is just as effective,” Rhein said while pushing open the door to the room.
