Chapter 1504: Section 1505 Abyss of the Sin God Chapter 1504: Section 1505 Abyss of the Sin God Tick-tock, tick-tock–

The originally sacred shepherd’s Divine Robe had a hole in the back, with a knight’s long sword thrust in through the scapula. Golden Divine Runes dangled, dancing in the chill wind.

Blood, slowly dripping along the sharp edge of the sword, fell to the ground.

Alex’s lips slowly oozed scarlet, his bloodshot eyes losing their usual peace, replaced by a touch of madness.

“I still… won.” Alex whispered.

Although Raven Knight was summoned by Nun Tessa into the realm of the dead and his sword had pierced through her chest and back, Alex had already plunged a dagger into Nun Tessa’s heart before Raven Knight’s sword pierced his back.

With the dreadful scream of Nun Tessa, endless dark mist continuously billowed out from the wound in her chest.

Memories flickered in and out of existence.

Nun Tessa was originally a servant worshipping the Father God, but since when did she suddenly change?

On the brink of death, Nun Tessa suddenly saw those deliberately concealed memories.

–The Divine descended from the sky, opening a Pandora’s box full of unknowns. At that moment, the world returned to chaos, and the daylight of Light was replaced by an endless long night. Cages fell from the sky, and no one could escape, only to become meager birds trapped in a cage.

When faith was destroyed at that moment, a cryptic voice whispered in her ear: “Go, kill all the outsiders, they have twisted the value of life, they are not part of Samsara. Only by killing them will God allow you to set foot on the other shore.”

From that day on, Nun Tessa lost all her past memories and became a sharp dagger, a killer working for the will of the cage.

“Heh, guards in the cage, are also caged birds.”

“Bertrand was right, beyond the cage, is an even bigger cage. No one can escape, no one can hide…”

Nun Tessa’s eyes were dazed: “Death is a servant of the Divine, a boundless long night that must be endured. As a sinner against God, being judged by the Father God under the Iris Flower, I die without regrets.”

As her words fell, Nun Tessa fell heavily into the iris flowers.

The iris flowers, the only vibrant color in this realm of the dead, slowly began to sway after Nun Tessa fell.

Brilliant rainbow light continuously radiated from the iris flower stamens.

The rainbow shot straight into the sky, like a road leading directly to the Divine Country.

As Nun Tessa fell, Alex also kneeled down, watching the dying Nun Tessa, panting heavily… Mr. Pat, do you see? I won.

The knight’s long sword fell to the ground, making a crisp sound. Alex turned his head and saw Raven Knight standing dazedly, as if he had lost his wits.

A figure slowly emerged in the realm of the dead.

It was the priest in his Divine Robe, Bertrand.

With the death of Nun Tessa, her authority naturally fell into Bertrand’s hands.

Bertrand looked bereaved, he took steps towards Nun Tessa, bending down to gently close the unsealed eyes of Nun Tessa after death.

Nun Tessa finally closed her eyes.

Father Bertrand looked at the rainbow path formed in front and softly sighed: “In the Father God’s teachings, iris flowers guide the dead to the Divine Country. At least, in your dying moments you awoke, the Father God will forgive you.”

After Bertrand spoke, he walked towards Alex, planning to embrace him and inspect the wound on his back.

But suddenly, Alex’s figure became blurry, like a colored oil painting that had faded into mere shades of grey.

Both Bertrand and Alex had astonished looks in their eyes.

Bertrand reached out to touch Alex, but when he stretched out his hand, all he felt was a flat, smooth mirror surface.

As if Bertrand and Alex were in different dimensions.

With a crack, the mirror shattered into countless irregular pieces. Whether it was Alex or Bertrand, what they saw of each other had become fragmented images.

Alex did not understand what was happening, he softly called for Bertrand but could no longer get a response.

“Just by killing Nun Tessa, why did it suddenly turn out like this…” was the last confusion in Alex’s mind before he passed out due to excessive blood loss.

As the deep darkness crossed the borders of space and time, when Alex awoke from unconsciousness, he gasped heavily and sat up from the bed.

“Ah, tarnation! Don’t move, your injuries haven’t healed yet.” A crisp female voice rang out from beside his ear.

Alex turned his head in confusion, only to see a woman wearing a beast-skin skirt frowning at him.

“Who are you?” Alex turned his head and looked around. He was in an extremely dilapidated stone hut, with a fire pit in the center and a stone pot on it emitting smoke. On closer inspection, the pot contained a green viscous liquid with eerily bubbling bubbles and visibly unknown beast bones, giving off a pungent and unpleasant odor.

Alex had never seen such a primitive room in Gust Town, even the pot was made of stone.

“Where is this? Where is Priest Berenlang?” He clearly remembered that before he passed out, he was in the space of the deceased, then a faded mirror appeared, and then he passed out.

What exactly happened after he passed out?

The woman in the beast-skin skirt slowly scooped out a bowl of nauseating soup and handed it to Alex: “Drink this medicine first, otherwise your wound might split open again.”

Alex was silent for a moment, but still took the stone bowl. He was well aware of the severe injuries he suffered before losing consciousness; since he was rescued by her, she probably wouldn’t harm him.

Moreover, looking at this bowl of medicine, Alex didn’t know why, but the term ’Witch’s Soup’ popped into his head.

What is Witch’s Soup? Why did he suddenly think of Witch’s Soup?

Alex didn’t ponder further. He had lost his memory and often had random flashes come to mind… when he was fighting Nun Tessa, some combat experience popped into his mind, which allowed him to defeat her.

Generally, these memories seemed harmless to him.

When he thought of Witch’s Soup, not only didn’t he feel repelled by it, but he even felt a sense of joy inside.

This also meant that this bowl of medicine probably wouldn’t harm him.

Alex drank the medicine without hesitation. Although it tasted awful, right after finishing it, he felt an itch on his back wound and a warm sensation inside his body.

Seeing Alex had finished the medicine, the woman in the beast-skin skirt finally breathed a sigh of relief: “This Priest Berenlang you mentioned, I don’t know who that is… This place is the Abyss of the Sin God, my name is Emily.”

The Abyss of the Sin God? Alex frowned. He was certain there was no such place as the Abyss of the Sin God in Gust Town.

Alex: “What place is the Abyss of the Sin God?”

Emily eyed Alex suspiciously, then muttered to herself, “Did you lose your memory? That’s possible, you tumbled down from such a high mountain, maybe you hit your head… let me think, is there any medicine for this condition?”

Before Emily could think further, Alex asked in confusion, “I tumbled down from a mountain?”

Emily nodded, “Yes, you rolled down through the landslide on Dead Wish Hill. If it weren’t for grandfather seeing your hand protruding from the ground, you’d probably have been buried alive. However, the gravest injury on your body wasn’t caused by the landslide, but rather by a weapon wound on your back. Did you have a fight with someone before?”

Alex’s mind exploded. He didn’t pay attention to what Emily said afterward, focusing solely on the fact that he had come tumbling down the landslide.

The last time he drifted in water, he ended up in Gust Town. This time he fell from a mountain and came to this unknown land.

Could it be that he really escaped that cage?

“What are you doing? You can’t move yet!” While Emily was muttering to herself, she turned and saw that Alex had left the bed and was limping out.

Alex pushed the door hard.

As the door opened, Alex looked outside.

With that one look, he froze, his pupils contracting sharply.

Although he had guessed this place might not be Gust Town, he had not expected to see such a scene upon opening the door.

In the distance was a vast plain shrouded in heavy black mist, with sinister ill will lurking within the shadows. At the edge of the plain, a terrifying figure enshrouded in dense black air rushed towards the horizon. As the figure left, a giant eye opened in the sky…

Alex was suddenly pulled back into the stone house.

Click–a sound, and the door was locked.

The person who pulled him back was Emily.

“What are you doing! Are you trying to kill us?!” Emily shouted angrily, “Even though we are banished to this rootless land, once they set their gaze on us, a single glance from those gods is enough to kill us!”

Alex was still a bit dazed, although he was sure this place wasn’t Gust Town, what exactly were those terrifying, giant, sinister shadows outside?

Hearing Alex’s question, although still infuriated, Emily responded, “I told you, this is the Abyss of the Sin God. Naturally, those are gods!”

Gods?!

Alex was stunned for a moment. Was this a world of gods?
