Warlock Apprentice

Chapter 1111: Section 1112 Winchester

Komodo was still entangled with Issac, and only Issac could give him a hard time among the Wizards who went to besiege Komodo. But Issac’s physical strength was also being drained continuously. Once his physical strength dropped to zero, Komodo would have no worries and would head straight for the ice floes that floated behind him.

As Issac’s shadow of the Black Dragon behind him was gradually fading, on the other side, Komodo’s momentum was rising continuously.

When everyone’s hearts were sinking more and more, the man who took the Coagulation Potion from Monty turned his head and looked towards Komodo.

He stood up and silently walked toward the center of the battlefield, as if invisible stairs had appeared in the air.

Step by step, the man walked towards Komodo.

Behind him, the dark red pattern floating in the sky served as his backdrop, outlining his thin and slender figure.

At this moment, under these circumstances, it was as if he was in a painting. His figure looked lonely but incredibly powerful, with the rosy sky casting his shadow long and thin, and on the opposite side was the fierce, terrifying Demon brimming with bloodlust. Yet, he stepped forward without any hesitation or second thoughts.

It was like on the battlefield, where a single person stands against thousands of soldiers; while others were retreating, he was moving forward against the tide.

In reality, the great Demon before him was far more terrifying than thousands of troops.

Issac was struck in the chest by a Flame Hand from Komodo; though the scales of the Black Dragon temporarily protected him from the fire poison trying to infiltrate his body, the massive strength was difficult to resist. After a low, agonized cry, Issac was sent flying backward in a parabola.

With great difficulty, Issac adjusted his posture in midair and stopped his falling momentum. At the same time, he saw the man next to him taking firm steps forward.

Issac’s vision blurred for a moment, hardly believing someone was actually stepping forward to face Komodo at this time. After all, after a dozen deaths, the Wizards who cherished their lives already refrained from approaching, and even if they did, they would symbolically send a Puppet.

When Issac saw his face clearly, his pupils shrank.

“It’s you?” Issac’s expression was odd, and his tone carried a hint of surprise, “Can you hold on?”

Issac asked the same question that Monty had, and he received a simple but firm reply, “Leave it to me.”

The man passed by Issac and continued walking towards Komodo.

Komodo seemed to realize that his next opponent was not Issac, but this frail and odd human.

It did not pursue Issac but looked at the “new opponent” with puzzled eyes.

For some reason, as the man stepped forward, it felt a chilling premonition. Although the man was of much lower strength, even compared to Issac, he was at least two levels lower.

Yet it was this man of lower strength who made it feel intimidated on the battlefield for the first time.

The man appeared confident and resolute, but his body was certainly too frail. Halfway there, he trembled all over again. Covering his mouth, he tried to endure it, but in the end he couldn’t hold back, and a significant amount of blood spewed out of his mouth.

Komodo: “???” I haven’t even made a move, and he’s spitting up blood by himself?

The people above the ice floe covered their eyes, unable to watch any more, except for Frostmoon’s people, who frowned tightly, seemingly accustomed to the sight.

After vomiting blood, the thin man, with his pale face, took out the Coagulation Potion given to him by Lord Monty and gulped it down. The potion entered his stomach and warmed him instantly, compensating for his weakness due to excessive blood loss. His complexion gradually returned to normal.

However, the atmosphere of a “lonely, desperate battle” that had been brewing among the people had been completely lost at that moment, leaving only a round of laughter in its wake.

“Who exactly is he, is he really up for a fight? I’m worried he might die from spitting up blood halfway there,” a man standing next to Maher asked, voicing everyone’s thoughts.

“His spitting blood is a heavenly punishment, but the reason for the punishment is because of jealousy from the heavens.”

Maher paused, didn’t explain what the “jealousy from the heavens” meant, but continued saying, “His name is Winchester, and although he is just an ordinary member of the Frostmoon Guard Squad, he has another identity; he’s an Apprentice of Lord Monty.”

…

Samantha ran swiftly along the wall, her body almost parallel to the ground, yet without the slightest stumble, her steps steady as she leaped back and forth across the walls of the surrounding ruined buildings.

Every place she passed would rumble.

It was not her doing, but rather that after she passed, spiky tentacles would shoot through, smashing the walls into caves.

If Samantha were a step slower, her life would be in jeopardy.

After running around the perimeter continuously, she heard a whooshing sound by her ears, accompanied by the ‘pitter-patter’ of rain.

Without looking back, Samantha knew what was coming up behind her.

The sound was closing in rapidly. By the time she heard it, it was already right behind her. Samantha cursed, “Damn it!”

With no other choice, Samantha leaped into the air, flipping over in midair with her head down and feet up, to land on the surface of a rapidly spinning, open, white umbrella that whooshed as it flew.

This umbrella, which was spinning and emitting the sound, was what had been flying towards Samantha!

Samantha simply tipped the umbrella with the tip of her toes as a leverage point, then immediately took to the air, and while midair, she saw Kanter opposite her and couldn’t help but make a “ready?” gesture with her hand.

The response from Kanter was his figure transforming from three-dimensional to a flat shadow. As soon as the black shadow appeared, it immediately expanded into a strange black quadrilateral that shackled the terrifying great demon in the center of the arena.

“Perfect opportunity!” Samantha, seeing this, extended her foot to step on thin air, changing her direction, and like a shot arrow, she sped towards the center of the arena.

As she approached the central black quadrilateral, Samantha was suddenly surrounded by sparkling, translucent colored glaze. The raindrops falling from the sky turned into mist before they could even touch the colored glaze.

“Glazed Paradise!” After being frustrated for so long, Samantha couldn’t help but shout, partly to alert Kanter that her attack was imminent, and partly to vent the resentment in her heart.

The world of colored glaze blended perfectly with the black quadrilateral.

The originally shadowy black quadrilateral turned into a dark colored glaze emitting a dim light.

Samantha landed on the roof of a dilapidated ruin, and Kanter, just as the colored glaze fused with the black quadrilateral, turned from shadow into substance and flew onto the balcony of another tall building.

The threads of rain kept falling, but not a single droplet could reach the central “Dark Colored Glaze.”

“Break, shatter,” Samantha, expressionless, snapped her fingers.

As her voice fell, a crack appeared on one corner of the dark colored glaze, and with a “bang,” it shattered into countless fragments, which, upon exploding, also scattered pieces of many tentacles.

The tentacles of that female demon were instantly severed by half.

Samantha couldn’t help but curl her lips into a smile, not expecting that her first time cooperating with Kanter would yield such a powerful move, something she had never contemplated before.

This also was a one-sided battle, forcing them to evolve rapidly.

The fragments of the dark colored glaze exploded amidst the flowing rain. However, within the dimly visible fragments, Samantha thought she saw a human silhouette.

Samantha, lifting her hair, suddenly paused: “Could it be, it’s still not dead? Did our combined attack fail?”

Samantha was confident enough that the “Dark Colored Glaze” had the lethality of a Level Three True Knowledge Spell Technique. Under such an assault, she even felt that even Lord Monty might struggle to take such a hit steadily.

But now, the female demon had actually caught it?

When the fragments of the dark colored glaze finally settled as dust, the sound of “pitter-patter” was accompanied by a woman’s shrill laughter that reached their ears first.

When they looked up, they saw a dazzling expanse of red blood at the center of the arena.

These were left by the severed tentacles.

However, it was only the tentacles that were damaged.

At the center of the arena stood the demoness named Nitotipu, her luxurious clothing entirely intact, even the tentacles under her skirt were regenerating at a visible rate.

Before, Nitotipu hid her face with an umbrella. At this moment, she slowly lifted the umbrella.

The first thing to be revealed was her lace white gloves, followed by her cool, clear, and exquisite face.

“She’s really unharmed!” Samantha gritted her teeth, her voice forced through clenched teeth. In contrast, Nitotipu looked impeccable, while she herself was not only covered in dust but also had her colored glaze-like long skirt torn, revealing her pale legs underneath.

“Just as I thought, what I hate the most are women with umbrellas,” Samantha’s eyes flashed with loathing: “Whether it’s Flora, or you!”

Nitotipu smiled silently; their attacks indeed surprised her, especially the previous unexpected combined strike that was astonishing. Nitotipu didn’t even know how they achieved such a high degree of integration in a short time.

Most importantly, the power of this fusion technique also exceeded its expectations.

If it were someone else, even Barfiment, who was known for the strongest physique, would likely sustain significant injuries.

But, they encountered me. To pose a threat to me on a rainy day would require an overwhelming advantage of an entire rank.

Nitotipu had tremendous confidence in her abilities, but realizing that it wouldn’t be easy to kill these two wizards quickly, she thought, “It seems I have to exhaust their energy first.”

Just as Nitotipu was thinking this, her eyes left in the sky suddenly transmitted information of a startling change.

A startling change in the sky? Could it be that aside from that foolish Barfiment who got blasted to death, there was another unexpected event?

Could Minotaur and Urdixinos have run into trouble as well?

Nitotipu suddenly looked up, staring at the floating ice.

When she saw the specific situation clearly, her expression froze: What’s going on? What exactly happened?
