Warhammer Divine Throne

”It’s because the enemies are too weak that the Elf Gods don’t care at all.” The Lake Fairy’s tone was filled with complaint: ”Asuyan forever sits upon the Phoenix Main God throne, indifferent to anything except his wars with Kaine, the Blood Hand God. Eternal Queen Ailarielle is hosting yet another fertility banquet in Avalon, where thousands of elves are celebrating lavishly, and neither Hunting God Kuros nor Mother Goddess Isa care about the external wars, too caught up in the celebrations. Charis’s White Lion Guards only worry about their own territory and the safety of the Phoenix King and Eternal Queen, while Tyrrenlock and Nagarys continue their desperate war with the Duruzi that has lasted for thousands of years.”

”At the Council of Gods, all the deities are blaming each other, but none are willing to step forward. So when Princess Adira, who is responsible for fending off external threats, prayed to me for help, I could only choose to stand up.”

Laine thought internally, it’s the same among the elves, each family only cares about its own affairs, not others’ life or death.

”I thought the High Elves were united by the Phoenix King to integrate all the kingdoms’ forces?” Laine had no choice but to ask tentatively.

”Sailing King Finuba loves nothing more than to lock himself in the Phoenix Royal Court and contemplate. He’s an outstanding diplomat but not a great general.” The Lake Fairy looked at the heavy rain outside her tower, her voice like a murmur in a dream: ”He handed over the power to dispatch phoenix armies entirely to Terion and Tygris—descendants of the First Phoenix King, appointing them as Guardians of Ossuan.”

”What about Terion and Tygris then?” Laine continued to ask.

”Terion is attending the fertility banquet hosted by Eternal Queen.” The Lake Fairy pressed her soft cherry lips against Laine’s face, saying helplessly: ”He is the Eternal Queen’s companion and Divine Chosen Champion; his relationship with the Eternal Queen is... just like the relationship between you and me.”

”...” Laine had nothing to say. After a moment’s thought, he said strangely: ”Isn’t it true that every generation of Eternal Queen and Phoenix King are married?”

And aren’t you High Elves afraid of attracting Slaanesh with such behavior?

”Yes.” The Lake Fairy smiled charmingly, emitting a strong scent of irises: ”But what does that have to do with the Eternal Queen’s companion?”

”The Eternal Queen and Phoenix King still have their own partners after getting married?” Laine sarcastically remarked: ”Finuba actually appointed Terion as the Guardian of Ossuan?”

”Hahaha~” The Lake Fairy laughed relentlessly, extending her slender jade finger to touch Laine’s face: ”Laine, my champion, elves do not have such concepts, the Phoenix King will cohabit with the Eternal Queen for a year after taking the throne to ensure the birth of the next Eternal Queen. Then they live separately, each having many partners. In fact, among the Celestial Pantheon, besides me, the gods of the moon, dreams, destiny, pure maiden, and Lilith the Lake Fairy have those requirements for their followers, all elves do not have the concept of chastity.”

”Alright, I can only say I don’t really understand you elves.” Laine quipped, holding the Lake Fairy’s small hand, pouring Spiritual Energy into her, helping her recover.

”By the way, before we enjoy this night, I want to give you this.” The Lake Fairy suddenly remembered something and took out a necklace from between her full bust.

The necklace was crafted from the most cherished platinum and precious diamond by High Elves, and at its top, within the black bead, a beautiful nebula swirl was spinning inside.

”What is this...?”
