Three Towers Game

Chapter 1450: Chapter 465: The Life of Jin Zhenyuan

Not long ago, Capricorn received intelligence from a Hunter City Merchant and found Jin Zhenyuan.

Jin Zhenyuan wasn’t too nervous but slowly recounted the whole story.

”Before I met you, I actually encountered three zodiacs, and a child with qualifications like yours.”

”Of course, one of them is Ding Dong, whom I regard as a child. He’s a marginal figure in your place, who liked making handicrafts when he was young.”

”He’s called Phoenix. This is also the first research target of the Swan Project.”

”I had Ding Dong create an artifact that could receive destiny’s guidance, which changed Ding Dong’s life and also changed my life and that of a child named Wen Xishu.”

”Interesting, isn’t it? I longed to take shortcuts but paid a huge price for it. Ding Dong indeed avoided many negative effects and created the Destiny Compass.”

”The Compass will guide Ding Dong toward the right destiny.”

”Later, a child named Wen Xishu received a similar gift. I thought that in his adventure, the Compass would surely play an important role, saving him a lot of time on his journey through the Three Towers.”

”But destiny never bestows gifts without a price. Its gifts always come at a cost.”

Upon hearing this, Capricorn knew there was going to be a twist.

”Of course, I was the one to bear it all.”

”My child Ding Dong received destiny’s guidance, but back then, during the process of creating the artifact, he said something to me.”

”He said, ’Father, next, there needs to be someone to bear the cost of destiny’s guidance. To create an artifact of destiny, there must be someone who can bear the cost, and that person must be closely related to me.’”

”Without a doubt, that person was me. As long as I agreed to bear the cost, then in the future, the Compass made by Ding Dong, and even the replicas of the Compass later, would transfer the greatest cost to me when used.”

”And I agreed.”

Capricorn looked at Jin Zhenyuan in astonishment.

Seemingly unable to believe that Jin Zhenyuan was such a person.

”You...would do this for him?”

Jin Zhenyuan said:

”I always believed he was the key to the Swan Project, the key to revitalizing Longxia in the apocalypse. I love my country, and I am willing to give my all for my nation.”

”Enduring the cost of destiny, what’s that?”

”Be it Ding Dong or Wen Xishu, they received destiny’s guidance, and the enormous cost gathered on me...yet it didn’t cause me much suffering.”

”Instead, it formed a special mark on me, and I was noticed by two supreme beings.”

”Thus, I was destined to become a hero who opens all and a sinner who destroys all. If it weren’t for Gemini, I probably would have been a sinner by now.”

Capricorn said nothing and began to be intrigued by Jin Zhenyuan’s story.

Jin Zhenyuan continued:

”You can understand that I developed a characteristic, where I would meet many people who could change the course of the world, my disciples, my children, my heirs, my close friends...”

”Because the enormous Power of Destiny converged, it allowed me to intersect with countless heroes.”

”My friend Albert, in the future, is sure to be someone humans, and even some beings from the Outer Domain, fear.”

”And my grandson Xiaojin, he was the first... Outer God to be tamed.”

”Of course, I also intersect with you, with Aries, Libra.”

”The experimental project I participated in will likely become the most terrifying existence in this world. You know what I’m talking about, it’s Longxia’s ’God.’”

”My confidante, too, will not be simple in the future and is sure to make a world-altering move at some point.”

”And my own actions, I ushered in the era of the Bunker.”

”This is the result of convergence of destiny, and also the result of the dual deities’ contest.”

”I’m very proud to have such a life, though for a while, I hid in a place, beginning to fear death.”

”But seeing someone able to walk up to me holding the Heart of Fusion, seeing the younger generations of the Bunker so young yet achieving such feats, I yearned to change something again.”

”I also found ways to have others bear the fate on my behalf. My subordinate Liu Zhizai has always been my substitute, and he even went to die in my place.”

Capricorn interrupted Jin Zhenyuan’s speech:

”But this... how does this relate to the destiny of Gemini saving us? You are certainly... one of the few humans I recognize.”

”But now, I’m more interested in the past.”

Jin Zhenyuan smiled:

”Don’t rush, child. I’m old, and sometimes I love reminiscing about the past, you must understand.”

”I said, the convergence of destiny led me to meet many people and intersect with countless heroes.”

”And destiny’s convergence is the price of destiny’s gift. It also led me to be watched by two supreme beings.”

”This also resulted in me obtaining great power.”

”After Ding Dong left, people from the Swan Project came to my experimental base. By that time, I had already gained power, and that power allowed me to easily break out from the armed forces.”

”And then, I received guidance, began to gather humanity, intending to guide people all over the world to head for the Bunker, to preserve the fire of humanity. Also, to open a new era for humanity.”

”This is a good thing, but there’s also a downside.”

”The bad thing is, in this process, I also gained another child.”

”I gave that child a name, Golden Flash.”
