Three Towers Game

Chapter 1403: Chapter 448: Cosmetic Surgery Family (Part 2)

At this moment, he saw thirteen ”windows” appear on the television on the wall.

Each window showed an independent scene. In the scene, there were thirteen people, just like Wen Xishu at this moment, sitting on the sofa, suddenly awakened by the sweet smell...

This means that a total of fourteen people, including Wen Xishu, appeared here in similarly furnished rooms and seemed to be participating in some kind of activity.

Meanwhile, there was something resembling a thermometer in the upper right corner of each window.

At this moment, everyone’s gauge was stopped in the middle position.

Wen Xishu had a headache.

If he remembered having a Scorpion Knife, remembered his ”item bar,” and remembered how to retrieve items from the item bar, he could use the Scorpion Knife to see that he was currently being spiritually invaded, with damage types—spiritual power, power of cause and effect, sequence type number—all visible.

But he—had amnesia.

Human amnesia doesn’t mean forgetting everything, like eating, brushing teeth, bathing, or much of the common knowledge learned...

It only targets specific events and people and makes them impossible to recall.

Clearly, Wen Xishu was experiencing this type of ”precise amnesia” at this moment.

He vaguely remembered that his name was Wen Xishu, but couldn’t recall more.

He also forgot why he came here.

[Hello Wen Xishu, I want to play a cozy little game with you.]

Suddenly a voice appeared in his room, and Wen Xishu noticed that everyone in the other rooms also seemed to start moving.

He immediately thought, could these people be ”contestants” in this little game?

Although he lost his memory, his cognitive style hadn’t changed.

Wen Xishu quickly entered a ”competition mode.”

[I believe you’ve noticed by now that you’ve lost your memory, forgotten many things, but that doesn’t matter, it may even benefit you, allowing you to make some interesting choices.]

[Next, before I tell you the process of this cozy little game, please draw a number, and I hope you can draw the smallest number.]

The thirteen screens suddenly merged into a large screen.

Then, fourteen identical spheres moved in an irregular trajectory, and finally, they are presented side by side on the screen.

”Please draw your number.”

Wen Xishu was a bit bemused. What on earth was this for?

But he still captured the information.

It should be that the smaller the number drawn, the better. But why?

Wen Xishu chose the middle ball.

Clearly, there was a number behind each ball, but the numbers weren’t arranged in order.

Wen Xishu drew ”4.”

[You are quite lucky, Mr. Wen Xishu. I think a smart and lucky person might be able to become the winner of this game.]

[Next, I will tell you the rules of the first game.]

[Please pay attention to the table full of candies and flowers in front of you. There is a button on it, and once you press it, someone will come in to have a date with you.]

What?

A date?

Wen Xishu felt surprised, but looking at the room setup, it seemed so cozy and quite reasonable.

He felt a strange sense of dissonance inside.

It was as if he should have been dealing with a highly dangerous environment where the survival rate was extremely low...

Such a feeling came over him oddly yet intensely.

So much so that, upon learning the game involved dating someone, Wen Xishu felt very jarred.

He became more vigilant.

Wen Xishu looked at the table which had a lot of things—flowers, candies, fashion magazines, cigarettes, alcohol...

Many, many things.

[You can talk; the conversation time is a maximum of fifteen minutes. You can choose your strategy, like one minute conversations to win by quantity, or spend a few minutes to deeply engage with yourself, but eventually, you need to gain the lady’s favor.]

[Remember, each time you press the button, the next date will enter your room.]

[You don’t need to care where they come from; you just need to know that they are all real.]

[The top five people who gain the most favor will become the winners of this round and progress to the next game.]

[Isn’t that warm and cozy? All you need to do is have a romantic conversation to successfully progress as a challenger. Of course, that’s not all the rules, but some rules you’ll need to explore in the game.]

[Lastly, Mr. Wen Xishu, I noticed that among the fourteen challengers, you have an outstanding appearance, which is your advantage. I look forward to your performance.]

The voice disappeared.

It didn’t say what would happen if you failed to progress, and this warm room instinctively made one not think of overly dangerous possibilities.

But Wen Xishu would.

Though he’s lost his memory, his thinking mode of ”becoming vigilant whenever things get too comfortable” had already become a habit.

Once it becomes a habit, it doesn’t crumble with amnesia.

Press it once, and it switches to someone else?

What if I press it wildly, hundreds of times?

And also, how is gaining favor judged?

What would happen to those who failed to progress? He mentioned earlier; he knows I lost my memory.

So, can I assume my amnesia is related to him?

Could the other thirteen people also be like this?

Wen Xishu looked at the screen.

Including himself, there were a total of fourteen people—seven males and seven females.

Scanning over each screen, Wen Xishu noticed that the differences in appearance between the men and women were quite significant...

If we go by those scoring standards on the internet, it’s true that there are scores ranging from one to nine.

Especially that man and woman with a score of nine...

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but take a few extra glances.

If he still had his memory, he would surely sigh—these two who look the best could almost compare to Wenren Mirror and the young version of Evelyn.

”These two... if they were to date, the favor they would gain would be extremely exaggerated.”

”How could one defeat them?”

”And those two who look extremely abstract, can they really receive favor?”

”The disparity in contestant looks is so uneven, if they were to make dating a competitive event... then there would be no fairness, just like pitting lightweight fighters against heavyweight fighters.”

”Additionally, the gauge in the upper right corner of the screen... is also very suspicious.”

Wen Xishu closed his eyes, and at this moment, the people on the other thirteen screens had finished hearing the rules, just like him.

Some started showing interest.

Some quietly lowered their heads, appearing extremely self-conscious.

Everyone was thinking about the rules, but not deeply, as at this stage, the clues were too few.

”Top five to progress... If we only talk about appearance, I should have no problem being in the top five, though still not as good as those two top handsome and beautiful.”

”But everyone lost their memory and can’t recall what they do, so appearance becomes an important standard...”

”Of course, bluffing is also crucial.”

”But currently, everyone’s intelligence level is unclear; it’s likely not a case where the ugly ones are smart while the handsome ones are stupid...”

”You can’t be sure the game isn’t malicious. At least, I don’t consider myself stupid.”

”From the current situation, I don’t think I need to worry about whether I can progress.”

Wen Xishu had confidence in his appearance, as there was a mirror in the room.

But the issue is, Wen Xishu is someone who enjoys ”extreme thinking.”

He loves finding difficult but correct ways to do things.

”But if I were someone very ugly, and if I were in this situation... how would I find a way out?”

”The game designer is surely aware of the impact of appearance.”

Wen Xishu recalled the initial drawing.

”That drawing... definitely has a big issue. Why did he wish me to draw a smaller number?”

”What does a smaller number represent?”

[Please start the game.]

That voice appeared again, interrupting Wen Xishu’s thoughts.

At this time, Wen Xishu noticed that in the thirteen screens, everyone had started the dating game.

The ugliest man had even... already started the second one.

His screen number was ten; Wen Xishu decided to call him Old Ten.

The first woman entered and without even sitting down, directly passed the ugliest Old Ten.

So cruel, Wen Xishu felt a bit sympathetic for this guy; it was virtually a transition to a showdown of looks...

Old Ten’s situation, in a sense, could be called a desperate state.

Wen Xishu also pressed the button at this moment.

The door opened, and a girl with a little delinquent style, her skin tanned to a bronze color, clearly having a bit of Shibuya gal fashion, walked in.

The girl had a tattoo on her shoulder.

Such a girl, who would fit perfectly in Daikubao Park, surprisingly became the first target for Wen Xishu to win favor with.

Although Wen Xishu had a significant advantage in appearance, indeed, he was the type to achieve a perfect score if possible.

He smiled and didn’t choose the flowers and candies on the table but took out a cigarette, skilfully handing one to the little gal.

The game began.
