Three Towers Game

Chapter 1411: Chapter 451: Second Round Game – Looks Are Justice (Part 2)

Wen Xishu immediately realized that this game wasn’t simple. Anyone capable of donating buildings to prestigious schools in Jicheng must have an extraordinary background.

But at the moment, he could be considered as being forcibly brought here.

Sure enough, the next second he witnessed something terrifying.

Aside from their group of seven, all of the remaining seven suddenly became uniform in height and lost their facial features.

Just like plastic mannequins standing straight in a clothing store.

They all stood up on the screen and remained motionless.

This scene not only startled Wen Xishu but also scared the other few participants who advanced.

Wen Xishu could even see the second-placed contestant, number four, falling directly to the ground in fright.

Even number eleven retreated several steps awkwardly.

Among the thirteen screens appeared seven frames of bizarre scenes, where originally living people—turned into plastic.

Faceless statues.

Wen Xishu was only surprised but unexpectedly found himself not really afraid.

”Have I seen scarier scenes before?”

Not only was he not afraid, but after that fleeting shock, he even found it amusing.

The voice hiding behind the screen did not explain anything.

After a while though, the other screen participants gradually recovered and dared to face the challenge.

Wen Xishu silently watched all of this, squinting his eyes as he pondered:

”What is the meaning of this competition?”

”Something capable of taking away faces must be a monster, right?”

”If it’s a monster, dealing with us ordinary people wouldn’t require such elaborate efforts, would it?”

”Turning people into motionless plastic figures isn’t any different from killing them.”

Wen Xishu quickly formed an idea.

”Could it be...”

”It wants to take our faces? And it probably needs to perform a certain ritual to achieve that?”

”A measurement scale?”

Suddenly, Wen Xishu felt like he might understand something.

”Does the measurement scale need to be full to take away faces? Or will losing the game result in face theft?”

Wen Xishu was still uncertain about the outcome.

But if memory is ”taken away” and then the face also taken...

The consequences would be unimaginable.

”I also have to consider the next round of the game, where my memory might reset again. Facing these people... my advantage doesn’t rely on looks.”

”Numbers eleven and four completely outshine me.”

”My advantage lies in, even though I can’t remember, I identified lies, and found some facts that fit my position.”

Fifteen minutes had passed for several minutes, and Wen Xishu decided to take some action.

To prevent his memory from being wiped again, and to avoid wasting time repeating the process, he used the borrowed pen to start writing detailed clues on his arm.

After completing all this, Wen Xishu waited for the resting period to end.

This process was somewhat agonizing.

Because of the terrifying scene that occurred, where seven eliminated participants had their faces stolen, leaving the remaining participants restless.

...

...

Fifteen minutes finally passed.

[Everyone, are you ready? Congratulations on having qualified for the second round of the game.]

[The second round of the game is called ”Appearance is Justice”. However, before the second round begins, I need to inform you of the reward for successfully passing the first round. Congratulations, each of you will receive some memories after the game starts.]

[Before the game begins, you will also have fifteen minutes to gather together and discuss countermeasures. You can guess what the game might be like or get to know each other.]

A huge sense of dizziness suddenly hit.

After these pieces of information appeared in Wen Xishu’s mind, he instantly lost consciousness.

When he slowly woke again, he instinctively shook his head and realized... he was seated in an electric chair.

More precisely, this was an execution chair used to judge criminals.

Wen Xishu’s limbs were fixed to the chair, with his bare arms showing densely packed text that only his exceptional eyesight could discern, a text so fine it could be called micro-engraving.

Meanwhile, the other six contestants also appeared in electric chairs.

They began to slowly wake up after Wen Xishu regained consciousness.

”Ah!!! What the hell! Why am I tied up here?”

”Who are you?”

”Let me go! Is there anyone else! Let me go!”

”What kind of hellish place is this?”

Numbers ten, eleven, four, and two were visibly nervous. Numbers three and one trembled in fear, unable to speak.

At this point, Wen Xishu slowly started to clear his mind.

He observed his surroundings and also took note of his arm.

”On my arm... how are there such intricate writings? Who carved them?”

”No, it’s possible I carved them... My eyesight is so extraordinary that I can see such small writing.”

”Am I a rich second generation? My name is Wen Xishu, and I have immense wealth. I came to participate in a theme contest related to appearance. Also, do my best not to care about my appearance. Besides, pay attention to the number four drawn at the beginning.”

”The person behind it could be a monster, capable of stealing people’s memory and appearance...” At this thought

Wen Xishu shivered, awakening suddenly.

Having eyesight beyond an ordinary person’s may allow one to achieve things others can’t. After realizing this, Wen Xishu drew a conclusion:

”Did the previous round’s me anticipate that the next round would involve memory erasure, and thus prepare a method in advance?”

”Hmm... it seems I’m not too foolish. But you can’t rule out the possibility it’s a trap... although the likelihood of it being a trap is low because no one else has writing on their arms.”

”But what’s happening now?”
