The Wizard Has A Biochip

Ruby remained completely absorbed in the professor’s presence.

This is my chance.

Every muscle in my body screamed at me to run, but I forced my legs to move slowly.

One step.

Then another.

I froze.

No one looked at me.

I kept going.

The moment I reached the bend in the corridor, all the tension that had built up inside me exploded.

I ran.

I didn’t look back.

Not even once.

I didn’t want to know whether Ruby had noticed me.

I didn’t want to find out whether Lucius could sense my presence.

Much less discover what happened to someone who saw or heard a secret Lucius might choose to reveal.

All I wanted...

Was to disappear.

...

...

...

When I finally reached the door to my real room, my hands were shaking so badly that I almost dropped the key.

I shoved the door open.

Stepped inside.

And slammed it shut with all the strength I could muster.

BAM!

Only then did I realize I had been holding my breath for far too long.

Air rushed into my lungs all at once.

I silently watched the corridor as the energy of evolution still pulsed around Ruby.

The results had exceeded my expectations.

Her adaptation to the Blood Fairy bloodline had been extraordinary.

However...

Imperfections still remained.

Ruby slowly turned her head toward me.

Her gaze was no longer the same as before.

There was anger in it.

An emotion far too intense for a creation that was supposed to act according to reason.

She clenched her teeth.

— He... Ran away...

— He was mine! I was going to suck the cum out of George’s dick with my tight pussy.

Her voice trembled.

— You took that away from me.

I subtly raised an eyebrow.

Interesting.

Her eyes burned like living embers.

Her pupils narrowed.

Her fingernails slowly lengthened, transforming into curved black claws.

The mana surrounding her began to fluctuate chaotically.

Fascinating...

My experiment has developed an emotional attachment.

I tilted my head slightly as I analyzed every change in the flow of her mana.

Romantic feelings... directed toward Totil’s Acolyte.

That truly is unexpected.

I folded my arms.

So this is the flaw in your evolution?

Your body has evolved...

But your mind remains enslaved by its own instincts.

Ruby let out a growl.

The next instant...

She vanished.

To any Acolyte, she would have simply disappeared.

But to me...

Her movements seemed slow.

Elegant.

Entirely predictable.

I watched her trajectory without taking a single step.

Before she could reach me, I merely raised one finger.

A white magic circle appeared beneath her feet.

— Radian° Storm~~ Radian~~.

ZOOOOOSH!

A tornado of light was born instantly.

Streams of luminous wind completely enveloped Ruby.

Her body began spinning violently.

She tried to spread her wings.

Useless.

She tried to dig her claws into the air.

Useless.

The vortex hurled her from side to side like a dry leaf.

Her scream echoed through the corridor.

Then...

CRAAACK!

She was slammed into the wall.

I clearly heard the sound of several bones breaking.

Even so...

She got back up.

Staggering.

Covered in blood.

Her wings beat violently.

Her thirst for blood had overcome the pain.

I smiled once more.

Persistent.

Ruby pushed off the wall, using the stone itself as leverage.

She charged at me again.

This time much faster.

She became nothing more than a crimson blur.

Her only objective was to kill me.

I sighed.

What a waste.

I casually flicked my wrist.

Nothing more.

A gigantic translucent hand of condensed energy materialized above her.

There was no need for lengthy incantations.

Nor extravagant gestures.

Only control.

The hand descended.

POOOOW!

The impact shook the entire dormitory.

Ruby was crushed against the wall.

The stone caved inward.

Fragments flew in every direction.

When the dust settled...

She remained lying there.

Her arms and legs were bent at impossible angles.

She tried to move a finger.

She couldn’t.

I slowly approached.

My footsteps echoed across the bloodstained floor.

I looked down at my creation.

A Blood Fairy incapable of mastering her own impulses...

I shook my head.

What a disappointment.

With a simple gesture, I dismissed the luminous hand.

Then I raised my palm.

A small white flame appeared above it.

Silent.

Cold.

Yet carrying enough concentrated power to destroy the soul of a creature of her rank.

I slowly lowered my hand.

I pressed the flame against her forehead.

Ruby let out a groan.

Her entire body convulsed.

Something changed.

The frenzy vanished.

The intense crimson in her eyes began to fade.

The aggression gave way to fear.

I observed carefully.

Her appearance also began to regress.

Her wings shrank.

Her horns retracted.

Her tail disappeared.

Her body gradually returned to the form of the petite girl she had possessed before the transformation.

I frowned.

Hm...

I immediately withdrew the flame.

Curious.

Very curious.

Ruby retreated as best she could, dragging herself across the floor.

Her eyes were filled with absolute terror.

I smiled once again.

Now, for the first time since this began...

With genuine interest.

I stepped a little closer.

The fear of death restores her rationality.

I had never observed behavior like this before.

My creation still concealed unknown mechanisms.

That made her far more valuable than I had originally imagined.

I extinguished the flame between my fingers.

— Perhaps I judged you too quickly.

I snapped my fingers.

Dozens of luminous chains materialized around her.

They coiled around her wrists.

Arms.

Legs.

Neck.

Every link pulsed with stabilizing and restraining magic.

She finally collapsed, completely unable to move.

POV George – MC

Several days had passed since Ruby escaped from Lucius’s laboratory, and the Tower had returned to normal.

I’m glad she’s still alive, and I also can’t deny that Ruby’s new appearance has captivated me.

I would really love to rape her again.

And this time, I’d tie her up in my room with a rope.

And I’d rape her every day, until Ruby’s womb was completely filled with my semen.

However, that wasn’t the most important thing right now. It was finally time for me to buy some offensive spells to protect myself.

I opened the door and stepped out of my room.

After walking for several minutes, I finally found the building.

It was smaller than I had imagined.

I slowly pushed the door open.

Creeeak...

The first thing I noticed was the silence.

The place was practically empty.

No customers.

No apprentices.

Only a single old woman sat behind the counter.

Her appearance immediately reminded me of the old witches described in children’s storybooks.

Her nose was long and slightly hooked.

Her gray hair was tied up in a messy fashion.

Deep wrinkles covered a face that had clearly lost its patience with the world many years ago.

She didn’t even bother looking up when I entered.

She seemed to consider my presence an inconvenience.

I approached slowly.

— Excuse me for bothering you.

I gave a slight bow out of respect.

That was when I felt it.

An invisible pressure spread throughout the room.

My entire body became heavy for an instant.

What a presence...

She remained perfectly still.

She didn’t even seem to be intentionally releasing mana.

Without drawing attention, I issued a mental command.

Biochip... inspect her.

[Beep!]

[STATUS]

Name: Unknown

Level: Third-Level Acolyte

Sex: Female

Age: 93

[PHYSICAL STATUS]

Strength: 2.0

Agility: 1.3

Vigor: 2.4

Mana: 7.0

I studied the numbers for several seconds.

Mana seven...

That was low for someone who had reached the Third Level.

She had probably suffered a permanent injury years ago.

Or perhaps some accident had damaged her magical codes.

Even so...

I would still die with ease if I decided to fight her right now.

Besides, the Biochip really had evolved.

Before my advancement, it couldn’t even analyze people of her level.

Now it could at least estimate the attributes of Third-Level Acolytes, although it still failed completely when faced with true Mages.

That was a tremendous improvement.

The old woman finally looked up.

— What do you want?

Her voice was dry.

Without the slightest trace of politeness.

I maintained my smile.

— I’d like to see the spell models you have available.

Without replying, she grabbed a thick dust-covered book.

Thump.

The massive catalog landed heavily on the counter.

She didn’t even bother opening it.

Wonderful customer service...

I thought sarcastically.

I quickly opened the catalog while the Biochip copied every page.

Various magical models passed before my eyes.

I continued flipping through the pages.

Most of them were extremely basic spells.

Even so...

My mind was already calculating countless possibilities.

Bow and Arrows of Light...

A simple offensive spell.

But an incredibly effective one.

With the Biochip’s assistance, calculating trajectory, target velocity, and point of impact would become almost automatic.

My accuracy would probably surpass that of many experienced Acolytes.

It’s worth it.

I closed the catalog.

Then looked back at the old woman.

— These are only basic spell models.

— Do you have anything more advanced?

She snorted.

— No.

— We only sell fundamental magic here.

— Your mentor is the one who should teach you everything else.

I took a deep breath.

— Then I’ll take the Bow and Arrows of Light and Hand of Light models.

The old woman gave me an indifferent look.

— Two hundred magic crystals each.

My smile nearly disappeared.

Four hundred...?

That was expensive.

Very expensive. I thought they’d cost less.

But knowledge was always costly.

Without arguing, I carefully took four hundred magic crystals from my pouch.

The small glowing stones clinked across the wooden counter.

The old woman gave them a quick glance.

Without counting them one by one.

She seemed experienced enough to determine their value with a single look.

She then opened a cabinet behind the counter.

From it, she removed two thick parchment-bound books.

Their covers were plain.

Without any decoration.

Only faint magical inscriptions glowed across the leather.

Bow and Arrows of Light.

Hand of Light.

I carefully took both of them.

A genuine smile spread across my face.

Starting today...

I’ll finally begin learning my first combat spells.
