Flames were still burning on Sheyan’s body and eroding into his muscles and bones. They were even trying to burrow into his internal organs along his blood vessels. However, the continuous, intense pain actually brought Sheyan a strange comfort, as if the more painful he felt, the more he suffered, the less guilty he would feel about watching Mogensha die.

At this time, Sheyan was wearing the fierce +10 dark green gloves and carrying the strong momentum of a newly awakened Awakener – he was shining like the bright sun! These enemies may be powerful, but their most powerful skills had all been used in the previous confrontation with Party Ace. Furthermore, they had been fighting for a long time, and all of them were infected with serious diseases. That was why he could fight them single-handedly.

If the enemies were all in their best conditions, Pryzbilla’s party alone would have been more than Sheyan could chew. Of course, they probably would not be able to kill him either. But if a couple more enemies joined the fight, Sheyan could only run away.

KD sighed when he saw Pryzbilla’s shot miss.

“It’s a pity. Lamb’s fate was sealed the moment we missed this shot.”

Przbila’s face turned unsightly. He turned to a room at the side and said, “It’s lucky that I called you back, Gullit. I only did that to guard against the ferocious Chatichai from the Incantators of Destruction, but it seems like we’ve made the right move for the wrong reasons! With you here, even if we can’t kill Seaman, we should have no problem retreating.”

Gullit stepped out of the room. “Is Seaman that strong? You think we might not be able to kill him even with all of us here?” he asked with a frown.

“Pryzbilla would not be of much use after Seaman get close to us. As for me, when I cast my debuff spells on him, their durations were shortened by more than half because that guy has dual-specialties!” said KD.

He continued, “The normal duration of ‘Earthbind’ is four seconds, but it took him only one and a half seconds to free himself. The magic core of the fire fairy Hedel that Pryzbilla shot just now should have produced a continuous burning effect that lasts twenty seconds, but it only burned for seven seconds on him! So unless I use that thing…I won’t be any major threat to him. You’ll have to be the main force in our fight against him.”

“Damn it, why didn’t the boss come with us? We wouldn’t have to fear Seaman if he did.” **Achooo** lamented Gullit before he sneezed.

KD exhaled a deep breath and said with some regret, “His Excellency wished to ambush Party Ace from all sides, so he only needed the most lethal members from the three parties in this fight. What can an MT do? The whole plan revolves around bombarding them with our strongest firepower and defeat them before they can react. Why would we need an MT? ** cough cough cough** Unfortunately, yes, we did catch them off guard with our sudden aggressive assault and managed to push them to the brink of collapse – we only needed one more push to wipe them all out – but a problem actually occurred on the side of His Excellency and the Incantators of Destruction! The person they were restraining together managed to free himself!”

It would be strange if KD had no complaints about this. Everything they worked for collapsed at the last moment, and the problem actually occurred at the place where they previously thought was the most reliable. How could he harbour no resentment?

Pryzbilla, who had been keeping watch at the window, suddenly gasped.

“Bosch is dead. He was killed even after he used an instantaneous return item. The woman named Zi actually has the ability to interfere with dimensional fluctuations too. Bosch failed to escape…”

The countenances of KD and Gullit abruptly changed.

Lamb had just stepped into a corridor, but at that instant, he had also entered the range of Sheyan’s ‘Hornrage’. Lamb suddenly experienced a moment of dizziness. He then felt a burning sensation behind his neck. Looking back, he saw a figure that was engulfed in a dark flame sticking close to his back. It was Sheyan.

Lamb was someone with a strong determination. When he realised that he could no longer run away, he unhesitatingly fought back. With a shout, he slashed a dagger at Sheyan!

But Sheyan did not dodge the slash. He simply let the dagger open a bloody wound on his neck while he landed a heavy punch on Lamb’s face. Lamb’s strong body was blown away by the punch. His head crashed into the wall while he screamed in pain. The hard concrete wall shattered from the impact!

Sheyan’s punch packed an unusual amount of power. The average theoretical damage of every punch of his was more than 500 points, and he also had the ‘Flesh Explosion’ ability. But most importantly, Lamb’s main attribute was Agility and his secondary attribute was Perceptive Sense… This meant that the punch had caused crushing damage!!

Three shocking damage numbers popped up with that punch. Cracking sounds could be heard coming from Lamb’s body – some of his bones had broken. Lamb’s vision turned black while blood gushed out of his nostrils and mouth.

The punch was not that simple. A light flashed on Lamb’s body. He had originally activated a buff on himself, but after taking Sheyan’s hit, the buff dispersed into little spots of light. Sheyan had activated the ‘Strength of the Sky’ ability along with that punch!

Sheyan did not follow up with another attack. Instead, he lowered his head and stood there like a devil, exuding an eerie killing intent.

“Did you ever think how my brothers felt when you were aggressively assaulting them? They felt just as helpless as you do now!”

Lamb was both frightened and angry. “Quit your bullsh*t and just kill me!” he sneered through gritted teeth.

“You killed my brother, but what’s dead is dead. Those of us who survive must continue living. If you can give me something to ransom your life, I don’t mind sparing you,” Sheyan told Lamb without any emotion in his voice.

Lamb’s heart suddenly jumped. Of course it would be best if he could avoid death. He immediately saw a ray of hope.

“Okay! But I have to meet up with my teammates first before I can give you anything. Otherwise, you’ll just take my stuff and then kill me!”

“Fine, but to make sure you don’t go back on your words, you have to hand me your honorary dosage,” said Sheyan.

Lamb’s heart was instantly full of hope. If he could meet up with KD and the rest of his party members alive, his chances of survival would greatly increase. Moreover, when they greatly outnumber Sheyan, they would have the final say. Could this guy be a simple-minded muscle head? He actually agreed to this kind of condition? What was an honorary dosage compared to his life? Lamb instantly agreed to the deal.

After Sheyan received the honorary dosage, he inspected it carefully and suddenly became furious.

“How dare you deceive me with a fake?”

Lamb was shocked. He immediately argued for his innocence.

“How can it be a fake? I’ve never heard of a fake honorary….wait, something’s wrong.”

It turned out that Sheyan had approached within two meters of Lamb while they were trading the honorary dosage. Sheyan delivered another punch, catching Lamb off guard and giving him no opportunity to react. Lamb was sent flying again. He smashed through a door and flew into a building beside them. A series of crashing sounds transmitted from inside the building.

Sheyan rushed in amidst the dust and debris. In pursuit of speed, he actually smashed a hole through the wall instead of using the door. Yet, his momentum remained unabated.

Lamb had only just rolled back up when he was struck by Sheyan again. He hit his back on a pillar and bounced back towards Sheyan. Who knew how many of his bones were broken by now. He finally entered a state of near death.

He wished to curse out loud, but suddenly found that the light had dimmed. Sheyan had jumped up and rammed his knee hard into Lamb’s chest. The crisp sound of Lamb’s sternum breaking was immediately heard. Blood mixed with Lamb’s stomach contents gushed out from his ears and nose. Lamb’s eyes were filled with madness and hatred. His face was distorted, blue and purple. He had instantly died under Sheyan’s iron fists.

(TL: I’m pretty sure it was Sheyan’s knee that killed him…)

The reason Sheyan deceived Lamb with words was firstly to play him like a cat playing with a mouse, so that Lamb would experience the sensation of falling from the highest high to the lowest low. This way, the revenge would feel much sweeter. Secondly, Sheyan was wary of Lamb’s three teammates, so he was unwilling to spend a large amount of his strength on Lamb. He therefore use words to prevent Lamb from going all out before his death.

Time was tight. He must kill the magic sniper who killed Mogensha and the people who used a powerful curse to restrain him. The rest of the people he could let go, but those two must die!

Sheyan could sense that there were two people joining hands to restrain him with the curse. When he broke free, he caused them to be hit by a strong backlash, and Sheyan could sense that they had remained immobile ever since, either because they were unconscious or seriously injured. Therefore, the party of three he was about to face should be his strongest enemies.

Sheyan treated his wounds with some simple bandaging. After taking three deep breaths, he followed his senses and arrived at a door. He kicked the door open. Whatever was behind the door, he wasn’t afraid!

The heavy anti-theft door burst open with a loud bang, a clear footprint engraved upon it. Some of the bricks and concrete connected to the door were pried away too, giving rise to dust and debris. The anti-theft door flew backwards.

However, after the steel door floated into the billowing dust, a terrible thing happened to it. A series of chaotic noises could be heard, followed by a strong gust of wind. The heavy anti-theft door had been crumpled into a ball like it was a piece of paper, and then thrown back at Sheyan!
