(TL: Bug as in the bug in a game.)

The Arbitrator had spent a long time fighting against this enemy and had even gone through a round of life-and-death battle against him, so he thought he had a pretty deep understanding of the enemy. He never expected that the man, whose speed was clearly his shortcoming, could display such a strong burst of mobility!

The first outburst of the A-virus on the immune system of the Predator was also the most violent and destructive. The Arbitrator felt an agonising pain in his chest. His vision turned black and he lost control over his body. Therefore, despite his anxiousness over Sheyan’s action, he could not react in time.

Sheyan obviously expected this. He no longer needed to hide anything by now. With a flip of his wrist, the lethal weapon that was ‘+13 West’ appeared in his grasp. He immediately hacked at the Arbitrator’s lower body! Since the Predator excelled in speed, Sheyan naturally had to impair his movement!

After the saber cut past, four damage numbers shot out along with the Arbitrator’s blood. Unfortunately, the 800 points of true damage was not triggered.

Sheyan would not give the Arbitrator the chance to escape. ‘Verdict’ was placed right on the Predator’s head before Sheyan mercilessly pulled the trigger! It must be noted that ‘Verdict’ was a perverse weapon that could fire two consecutive shots!

These two shots caused two shocking damage values!

2380 + 460 !!

Sheyan was especially stunned when he saw the 2380 damage for the first shot. It turned out that the shot had happened to hit the 300 damage upper limit, and with the 100% increase from the musket weapon passive effect, ‘Ready II’, the damage became 600.

Verdict’s special ability, ‘Murder Weapon II’, increased the damage by a further 40%, making it 840.

Holy type damage dealt an additional 50% damage to heretics, so the damage became 1260.

Finally, because the shot was launched directly at the head, there was a bonus to explosive strike rate. An explosive strike was triggered, resulting in 2520 theoretical damage. The Arbitrator did not have too much defence right now, so the actual damage reached an astonishing figure of 2380. As for the second shot, because there was no 100% increase from ‘Ready II’ and an explosive strike also failed to trigger, it was significantly lower.

When the Arbitrator was attacked, many white luminescent spots could be seen flowing out of his body, as if his life was being smashed out of him by Sheyan. The light spots flew into Sheyan’s body one after another.

Sheyan and the Arbitrator had been locked in battle for a long time, so Sheyan did not have much medicine left. He was only left with about 2,000 points of HP. After the light spots flew into his body, he felt waves of heat within him, and his HP began to continuously recover.

This was another ability of ‘Verdict’. While the enemy was judged as a heretic, 50% of all damages Sheyan inflicted upon the enemy would be converted into holy light, healing his injuries. When the healing amount reached 40% of his total HP, the heretic status of the enemy would disappear.

With the help of this ability, Sheyan managed to heal himself by more than 1600 HP from the attack on the enemy. This was a real blessing indeed. Besides the honorary dosage, any medicine that could restore such an astonishing HP amount in battle would command a sky-high price!

When the Arbitrator was stunned for five seconds, Sheyan immediately raised ‘+13 West’ up high. A crazed, bloodthirsty glint suddenly flashed on the extremely ordinary-looking blade of the saber!

Five seconds. If Sheyan ignored the enemy’s counterattack, it was enough for him to slash three times!

228 + 82 + 129 (Holy Damage) + 35 (Flesh Explosion Damage) + 800 (True Damage)!

197 + 79 + 131 (Holy Damage) + 28 (Flesh Explosion Damage) + 800 (True Damage)!

201 + 85 + 138 (Holy Damage) + 41 (Flesh Explosion Damage)!

In the battle log, these horrible numbers jumped out one after another. The madness was shocking and breathtaking!

But after Sheyan executed those three slashes, he had a heavy feeling in his heart because he found that one of his guesses may actually be true, and if that guess was true, he would be in deep trouble today.

After taking a non-stop barrage of attacks from Sheyan, the Arbitrator almost went crazy. Anyone would go crazy with rage if they were chopped repeatedly like a vegetable on a chopping board. What’s more, he was chopped with ‘+13 West’, an insane weapon that was almost comparable to a Godly equipment!

Therefore, as soon as he regained control of his body, the first thing the Arbitrator did was to retreat! Unfortunately, Sheyan had been waiting for him. The mechanical parts on the ‘Planetary-Grade High-Energy Mechanical Power Glove’ on his right hand rotated rapidly, and an ‘Uppercut’ struck the Arbitrator’s chin hard.

Although the Arbitrator was two whole tiers higher than Sheyan in terms of strength, the ability on a dark green set equipment was not so easily suppressed. The Arbitrator was flung backwards by this hit and finally hit the ground heavily.

However, Sheyan did not take the chance to attack. He did something that nobody could have expected – he pulled out from behind him a plastic bag filled to the brim and smashed it down on the Arbitrator.

The plastic bag instantly burst. It turned out that the bag was filled with blood! The reason Sheyan caught a giant marmot before this was to collect the creature’s blood in this bag. The blood drenched the Arbitrator all over.

The Arbitrator cut a sorry figure at the moment, but as soon as he came to his senses, he immediately rolled and leaped up vigorously. Although there were obvious signs of limping in his movement, his motion was still as nimble as a ghost. He was still at least 30% faster than Sheyan.

Sheyan had only taken a few steps forward when the Arbitrator suddenly leaped into the air. His right foot stepped on a rock next to him. His slender, muscular body curled up in the air and shot seven or eight meters forward. During this process, he also threw a flaming spear at Sheyan!

As before, the spear flashed through the air like a bolt of lightning, almost unable to be caught with the naked eye. Fortunately, the purpose of this spear was to stop Sheyan rather than kill him, so Sheyan managed to barely dodge it.

However, due to that, the distance between the two immediately widened. Arbitrator Bloodspear half knelt on a rock 100 meters away and stared back at Sheyan coldly. He made a very simple and direct throat-cutting gesture, then rolled away into the woods.

Although Arbitrator Bloodspear did not say a single word, his meaning was clear:

“I’ll be back soon! And I’ll make you pay for this!”

That’s right. The most troublesome thing about the way Arbitrator Bloodspear fought was that if he could not kill you, he would immediately retreat, and you would not be able to catch him. The bastard was even proficient in self-healing and tracking, so after he had healed most of his injuries, he would come back for you and begin the fight anew!

More importantly, Sheyan’s previous speculation had also been verified. Arbitrator Bloodspear violated the common characteristic of long-range attackers of being fragile. His HP was possibly astonishingly high! This point could be deduced from the result of Sheyan’s mad flurry of attacks after closing in on the Predator!

Sheyan’s explosive burst in that short period of time could be said to be his best effort, and it had indeed caused an alarming amount of damage, but the cruel fact was that Arbitrator Bloodspear had effortlessly withstood it all.

Therefore, Sheyan knew that there was no way to take this guy down with his own strength. But that did not mean Sheyan had no way to deal with him. The huge bag of blood spilled on the body of the Arbitrator was Sheyan’s backup plan.

Of course, the backup plan may not necessarily be effective. But Sheyan was not ready to give up just yet. He had only used the party skill ‘Gloryheal’ and had not even used his honorary dosage yet. As long as he jumped into the turbulent river with the ointment to mask his smell still on his body, the Arbitrator would not be able to catch him either.

Now that Arbitrator Bloodspear had escaped, Sheyan of course did not forget about Ronnie who was nailed to the cliff. It was only after running to Ronnie’s location that he found that the smell of Ronnie’s bloody body had attracted many ferocious creatures over. Fortunately, they were weak enough for Sheyan to drive away.

Sheyan rescued Ronnie and found him on the verge of death. He was like the prey of a spider that had been injected with venom and was left alive for the baby spiders to feed on. He had lost all consciousness, but his body was kept fresh.

Ronnie could remain alive up to this point not because of the Arbitrator’s mercy, but due to the Arbitrator’s cruelty.

Ronnie’s ‘Phantom Ghost Flash’ may be powerful, but it was not enough to defeat Arbitrator Bloodspear who had abnormally high HP. The reason why Bloodspear could start from the bottom and climb through the ranks to the position of Arbitrator was because he had the speed of lightning, the powerful damage of an assassin, and also the terrifying HP of an MT.
