The Sinful Young Master

Chapter 303: Master of Chaos - 1

Ekatarina squints her eyes, looking at Jolthar with a more intense gaze. She could feel the sudden change in the chaos around him.

He suddenly stopped talking and turned to see Jolthar.

Both of them could see that the flaring chaos around Jolthar had taken a 180-degree turn and was bursting out of him. And it changed the surroundings around him as a slow circular wind in the shape of arcs took form around Jolthar.

Ekatarina looked down, and she could feel the ground trembling, and the small stones were starting to levitate. She looked back at Jolthar, and her eyes grew wider.

The purple glow around Jolthar intensified suddenly, transforming from its usual steady radiance into something far more dramatic.

He was like a conduit for the immense power inside him, bursting out through him.

It burned like an intense flame, raging with such fury that the debris scattered across the training ground—broken targets, splintered wood, and fragments of stone—began to melt away into nothingness.

The very matter seemed to dissolve before the raw power that emanated from the young man’s form. It wasn’t hot, but the raw pressure of the chaos made everything around melt away into nothingness.

The chaos was created from a void; it was null. Even the gods were feared by this very power, no less than the deities. It was an ancient matter that gods and deities had stopped using the power as a means to grow stronger, as it had a lot of complications.

There were only a few who could survive the chaos, and Ael’koryna was one of them.

Chaos was like a drug; once you start feeling the effect it has on you, you won’t stop feeding, and in time it will turn you to madness. For this very reason, humans have stopped using chaos. But right now, Jolthar was rewriting the odds.

Ekatarina’s mind was reeling with all these thoughts, and she could tell what Jolthar was doing.

Vareth was no different; he said, ”What is he trying to do?”

Ekatarina was silent.

Then, with a sharp noise, a sphere of purple energy took birth around Jolthar. The sphere grew bigger, with him at the centre, and the sword too, which was hovering before him. Ekatarina noticed the lines of purple energy flowing from the sword into Jolthar.

”He is observing the chaos from the sword,” she said.

”What!?” Vareth then noticed, ”its not possible. How can he do that?”

”He is doing it,” Ekatarina breathed in, as she waited for what more Jolthar was going to do.

While they were talking, a faint crackling sound erupted in the area, and then they saw the lightning.

There was silver colored lightning on the purple sphere.

Its surface crackling with silver lightning that danced and writhed like living serpents.

And it didn’t stop there; next, green colored waves rippled across its surface in hypnotic patterns, while blue colored arcs traced curved designs that hurt the eyes to follow.

All three forms of his powers are in action together, like they were trying to protect him.

The sphere pulsed with a rhythm that seemed to match the heartbeat of the dragon monarch himself, each pulse sending ripples of power through the surrounding forest.

Ekatarina and Vareth frowned, their expressions mixing wonder with surprise as they tried to comprehend what was happening before their eyes.

The magnitude of power being displayed was unprecedented, even by the standards of their long lives.

”He’s advancing,” Ekatarina breathed, her voice barely audible above the crackling energies. ”Tier 9? Those three forms, they must be his other powers—he told me about them.”

”Especially that silver colored lightning; it seems more dominating than others. You can sense it, right?” she said.

Vareth nodded; he didn’t take his eyes off Jolthar and the sphere.

His thoughts were all over the place; he couldn’t understand how a young man like Jolthar was capable of holding such volatile forms of energy inside him.

Her words carried the weight of recognition.

Jolthar had mentioned his various abilities during their conversations, describing the silver voidwrath, the green beast king’s energy that commanded loyalty from creatures, and the blue aura that marked his mastery of the blade. He didn’t describe the silver energy as it was power given to him by the goddess, and he didn’t want to disclose that information.

But seeing them manifest simultaneously, feeding off each other in a spectacular display of convergent power, was something else entirely.

”The kid is actually trying to enforce chaos into his body, and those three colours of energies are helping him,” Vareth observed, his voice carrying a note of professional admiration mixed with wariness.

”Is he crazy? How can a human do that?”

In all his centuries of training warriors and mages, he had never witnessed such a dramatic breakthrough.

”He is doing it, though.”

The silver lightning, green waves, and blue arcs swirled around the sphere with increasing intensity, their combined energies creating patterns that defied comprehension.

The very air around Jolthar began to distort, reality bending under the pressure of forces that should not have been able to coexist in mortal form.

The reverberating noise exploded in the vicinity, like an ancient beast roaring. It alerted the elves in the village. The thundering sounds of lightning in the sky as the skies turned darker in the sky, and the weather had taken a sudden turn for the worse.

Slowly, impossibly, Jolthar began to float in the air, his body rising from the ground as if gravity itself had lost its hold on him.

He was still in a sitting position with his eyes closed.

That chaos blade had hung suspended before him, its metal gleaming with reflected power from the energies that surrounded him.

The debris that had survived the initial dissolution was now getting blown away by the sheer force of the transformation taking place.

Old trees, their roots deep in the ground and their branches reaching toward the heavens, swayed as if caught in a hurricane, though no natural wind could account for such movement.
