The Quest for Immortality

Three months later, Mo Hua’s reforms for the Great Wilderness Tribe had begun to show initial effects.

Half of the Wusha Mountain Realm, the entire Wutu Mountain Realm, and some scattered surrounding mountain realms were reorganized by Mo Hua, unified under the name ”Wutu.”

In the Barbaric script, ”Wutu” symbolizes ”fire.”

Mo Hua also planned to build a great tribe under the name ”Wutu.”

This Wutu Great Tribe, under the leadership of Mo Hua the Shaman, acts under the name of the ”Divine Lord.”

Dan Zhu’s Danque Tribe forces and the Wutu Tribe are allies.

Everyone serves one Divine Lord and respects Mo Hua as the ”Shaman.”

Divine authority is unified and attributed to Mo Hua.

Power is concentrated and controlled by Dan Zhu, with the establishment of an Elder Council for mutual supervision and collective decision-making.

Additionally, there are large and small tribal powers, but all tribespeople are equal, abiding by tribal laws.

No one is allowed to unjustly kill, abuse authority, or apply private punishment.

Every child must receive education from Mo Hua, learn some kind of heritage to become useful, contribute to the tribe in the future, and remain loyal to the Divine Lord.

Mo Hua also tried to propose a plan to abolish the ”Barbarian Slave System,” aiming to give every Barbarian Slave an equal identity, allowing them to live under the sun.

Hereafter, prisoners of war in conflict will no longer be treated as ”Barbarian Slaves.”

However, this proposal was criticized by almost all tribal chieftains and elders, except Dan Zhu.

This idea was simply too far ahead of its time.

The foundation of the Great Wilderness Tribe is built upon the ”Barbarian Slave” system.

Abolishing this system is akin to tearing down the foundation, causing all previous tribal structures to completely collapse.

Under the threat of a great disaster, this is not a prudent decision.

Moreover, whether ”Barbarian Slaves” truly deserve equal rights is an unpleasant, yet realistic issue.

Many Barbarian Slaves are inherently vile ”criminals.”

They have committed unforgivable crimes, condemned to become slaves, without a shred of conscience, worse than ”livestock.”

Adultery and murder, patricide for wealth, infidelity leading to uxoricide, marital infidelity result in infanticide, among others.

Human nature can, at times, be even uglier than that of animals.

Some are fundamentally unworthy of being ”human.” Giving them ”human” treatment and being lenient ultimately condones the deterioration of order, leaving endless harm.

Mo Hua realized this complex, cold, and ugly reality, temporarily abandoning the idea.

He merely stipulated one rule: Do not kill Barbarian Slaves arbitrarily, do not apply private punishment to them, and do not make Barbarian Slaves ”living sacrifices.”

This is the greatest leniency given based on the objective reality of the Barbaric Wilderness.

Further, seeking deeper reform step by step.

Through Mo Hua’s various explorations and attempts, the prototype of a new great tribe had begun to take shape.

With the constant improvement of internal structures and assurance of the people’s livelihood, outward military strength, including various forces, Barbarian Armor, heritage, and military system, was also developing step by step.

But this development was gradually becoming limited. .

The Wutu Mountain Realm, after all, remains a remote Second Grade Mountain Realm, lacking resources, insufficient armor forging and formation materials, and not enough manpower.

Once developed to a certain extent, it naturally reaches a bottleneck, challenging further breakthroughs.

While Mo Hua was seeking a way to break through, clueless at the moment, formidable ”external enemies” unexpectedly arrived.

This time the enemy was an old friend.

Bi Fang Tribe, Bi Jie.

Over the past few months, the Wutu Mountain Realm had already encountered several external threats.

And these external threats were all blocked by Lugu outside.

Some were even ”swallowed” by the Shugu Tribe.

As Mo Hua predicted, the Shugu Main Department became the shield of the Wutu Mountain Realm.

But the previous external enemies were all some medium and small tribes, scattered here for various reasons, their power relatively weak.

Now things are different, Bi Jie is the Young Master of the Bi Fang Tribe, already ”grown,” and has fought for years, a Young Master rich with prestige, qualified to command the Main Department forces.

Now Bi Jie gathers forces outside, pressing on the Wutu Mountain Realm, eyeing one of the few pieces of tranquil ”pure land” amid chaos, and the rich ”fat meat.”

Not to mention, his nemesis and arch-enemy—Dan Zhu—resides within this pure land.

A Bi Fang Main Department, and a Shugu Main Department.

Both are fierce tigers.

If they were ordinary medium and small forces, Lugu would surely devour them.

But now the situation differs; the Bi Fang Tribe is very strong, so Lugu will likely not fight Bi Jie to the death.

Moreover, the two sides might not only avoid a fatal battle, they will likely join forces to deal with Dan Zhu and invade the Wutu Mountain Realm.

After breaching the Wutu Mountain Realm and killing Dan Zhu, they would then together divide the ”fat meat.”

Mo Hua felt somewhat heavy-hearted.

And facts proved he was right.

Bi Fang Tribe and Shugu Tribe only had some friction and skirmishes during their first encounter.

But shortly after, the disputes subsided.

The Bi Fang Tribe and Shugu Tribe ceased fighting.

The two sides seemed to have reached some kind of ”tacit understanding,” or perhaps signed a ”deal” in secret.

Thereafter, Shugu Tribe made room for the Bi Fang Tribe.

Bi Jie, leading the Bi Fang Main Department, entered the Wusha Mountain Realm.

Two Main Departments’ forces gathered together, formidable enemies joined forces to press in like dark clouds pressing against the mountain, causing panic within the Wutu Mountain Realm.

Dan Zhu and others wore solemn expressions.

Mo Hua also frowned.

A Shugu Main Department is manageable, even if their General is Lugu at the Late Golden Core Stage, Mo Hua in the Second Grade Mountain Realm is confident enough to suppress them.

Even with some effort, directly annexing the Shugu Main Department is not problematic.
