The Martial Unity

Chapter 3109: The Command of the Emperor

Rui hadnʼt lied when he said he knew everything.

It was the truth and nothing but the truth.

He knew what he needed to do the very moment he woke up.

After all, he had been awake for a precious few minutes, speaking with the Martial Transcendants after the Unfolding happened a month ago.

He had also been empowered by Gigabrain in those few minutes, which had astronomically empowered his Eye of Prophecy, since it was an ability of the subconscious mind and of the subconscious brain.

It allowed him to see the future.

It allowed him to peer deeper into the future than he had ever done so before.

Deeper than anybody had ever done so before.

An entire month.

Shortly before he lost consciousness, he had foreseen the tribulations that had already come.

”I know everything.”

It was not a vain boast.

It was not an arrogant remark.

It was the truth.

He had foreseen everything.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook.

It shook with awe.

It shook with awe as the Dawnbringer deployed the full extent of his power.

He inhaled deeply.

Deeper than he ever had before.

RUMBLE

The very heavens shook under the sheer force with which he drew upon the skies above Kandria.

And then, he roared.

A roar with all his power.

A command with his authority as the Emperor of the Beast Domain.

”RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

The world shook violently as his roar spread across Kandria and beyond.

It spread across the entire continent.

Across the world.

Across the true world.

The Beast Domain in all its esoterified extensions shook as all sapient fauna and flora across the continent shivered as the roar dug deep into the very root of their minds and feral, primal souls.

They froze.

They froze as the Emperor of the Beast Domain issued his command.

”Protect the continent.”

His command infiltrated their consciousness.

”Protect human civilization.”

His authority as the King of Beasts bore down on their instincts.

”Exile the outsiders from this continent.”

Their eyes grew bloodshot as they returned to a wild frenzy.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook.

It shook as one of the human civilizationʼs greatest demons returned as a protective angel.

The Beast Incursion had returned.

”No…” A faint murmur escaped Rui. ”I suppose this ought to be called the Beast Excursion.”

The actions were the same, and yet the context was entirely different.

Beasts and monsters across the Panama Continent rampaged into a frenzy as they charged towards the true world outsiders who had already begun violating the Panama Continent. Despite the fact that the beasts and monsters around the world were spread across the entire continent, they still managed to charge in the right direction.

A scent was all they needed to detect whether or not a certain entity was native to the continent.

The closest beasts and monsters had already begun attacking the true world colonies, creating a cue and direction for the beasts and monsters behind them that drew in waves of beasts and monsters across the entire continent to converge upon all the true world colonies and presences of the world.

RUMBLE

The collective stampede of the Beast Excursion sent tremors across the entire continent as a maelstrom of chaos spread across the entire continent. Human civilization began panicking as reports of beast tides that they had grown all but familiar with began pouring in.

A wave of despair, unlike anything they had ever experienced before, erupted within the leaders of human civilization, until even more reports began pouring in detailing that the beast tides were, in fact, protecting humans and not destroying them.

It was an unfathomable notion.

And yet, the authority of the Emperor of the Beast Domain was absolute over all fauna upon the Panama Continent.

In fact, because he had the enlightenment of the Tree of Life, he could extend that authority not just to sentient flora and fauna across the continent, but also across the entirety Great Nam Ocean and all creatures inside the Tree of Life.

In hindsight, the eldritch chimera ought to have also been able to do this as well. After all, it could affect all the monsters in the oceans of the Beast Domain, so why would it not be able to affect the monsters of the Great Nam Ocean?

It was only now that he attempted to do so that he understood why human civilization was spared from this even greater nightmare.

Rui directed a deep gaze into the Great Nam Ocean.

He directed a deep gaze towards a single lifeform within its water.

The greatest lifeform.

The only other monster with the power to challenge the eldritch chimeraʼs authority.

”Itʼs because you protected the Great Nam Ocean with your authority, didnʼt you…” A faint whisper escaped Rui. ”…Jormungandr?”

Far away within the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, the awakened Jormungandr shifted its colossal celestial eyes in the direction of the Dawnbringer.

It regarded him with acknowledgment.

It regarded him with acknowledgment for his rightful claim as the Emperor of Beast Domain.

”You protected all life in the waters of your domain with your authority.” Ruiʼs tone was one of respect. ”You protected them from not just the eldritch chimeraʼs poisonous influence, but also from a destructive conflict with human civilization that would ensue should they have fallen prey to its venomous authority.”

Jormungandr.

One of two Transcendent monsters of the Panama Continent.

The sheer amount of power that it possessed within its body, a world of its own, was enough to destroy the entire planet.

Even the gentlest of gestures from it would wipe out almost all life across the Panama Continent and the Great Nam Ocean.

And thus, it stayed its hand.

Out of consideration for all life in its domain and others, it stayed its hand.

For the sake of life, it protected its domain from the Eldritch Chimera.

While all of human civilization feared it as a potential harbinger of absolute destruction, Rui knew better.

It was a guardian angel.

A creature with untold kindness for all life therein.

A creature that imprisoned itself to give everybody and everything else a chance to exist.

”Thank you.”

His tone was sincere.

As was his gratitude.

”Thank you for everything and…” he continued with a gentle voice. ”…help us out one last time.”

Unfathomable power dwelled within the depths of his pitch-black eyes.

”Join us against the true world.”
