The Martial Unity

2904 Realm of Drago

While the Kandrians faced off against a nest of many Inferno Serpents, other forces and nations around the world faced similarly intense regions. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

RUMBLE!!!

The world shook under the sheer weight of the conflict between Elder Dragons within the Realm of Drago in the Central Highlands of the Beast Domain and the Martial Sages of the Britannian Empire.

”ATTACK!!!” Sage Vermillion roared ferociously as she launched an offensive siege across the region of floating landmasses.

The Realm of Drago was a vast and immense domain within which an immense number of dragons resided. Characterized by zero gravity and a much greater atmospheric drag coefficient, it was comprised by an endless three dimensional landscape of floating landmasses that that stretched as far as the eye could see.

Tectonic plates, Islands, bedrock; all of it hovered in the heavens, entirely free from the clutches of gravity.

It was ruled by dragons.

By the most powerful species of dragons in the entirety of the Beast Domain.

”ROOOAAARRR!!!” A massive behemoth of a dragon roared with a ferocious primal bloodlust as its bloodshot reptilian eyes dilated. Its body was covered with stunningly regal scales of silver and gold that stretched along the entirety of the surface of its body, comprised of powerful quasi-Transcendent esoteric alloys found in the Realm of Drago.

From it emerged a wave of destruction that would wipe out all life across a chunk of the Panama Continent.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

A shockwave of heaven and earth and of space and time emerged from the dragon, spreading across the entirety of the Realm of Drago with its devastating power.

”Donʼt falter!” Sage Knight Vermilion snarled as they weathered the tremendous attack, surging through unfazed. ”Exterminate the beasts! IN THE NAME OF THE BRITANNIAN EMPIRE!”

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

The battle between the Elder Dragons and the Martial Sages of the Britannian Empire was fierce. For the first time in their entire lives, the Martial Sages came across monsters that not even they could vanquish in one fell go. They, who were accustomed to being able to wipe out entire armies of beasts and monsters, found themselves going toe to toe with the most powerful beasts of the Beast Domain.

It was a surreal experience to face off against a beast that was fast enough to keep up with their movements and could even outmaneuver them under the circumstances. The absence of gravity and the density of the lent a tremendous amount of maneuverability to the winged beasts of the Realm of Drago.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

With a single flap of their wings, they could rapidly accelerate and decelerate, allowing them to smoothly maneuver across the three-dimensional battlefield of the Realm of Drago. Some of the unwieldy Martial Sages even found themselves unable to keep up with the remarkably nimble beasts and monsters.

That wasnʼt all they were capable of, however.

”RRROOOAAARRRRRR!!!”

Chills crawled across the skin of the Martial Sages as a profoundly intense roar emerged from the monsters.

One that almost paralyzed them.

An opportunity that the dragons didnʼt miss.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

”Rrggh…!” one Sage Knight grimaced as he was flung away by a tremendous tail attack from the beasts.

”Steel your mind,” Sage Knight Vermillion warned them. ”The Elder Dragon species has the dragonroar ability of its familia.”

The dragonroar ability was innate to a few of the most powerful species of dragon, allowing it to evoke fear with the effects of its roar on the psyche of the targets of the ability, allowing it to handle much more than it otherwise would due to the fact that the fear would nerf its opponent.

They used the ability to subjugate the entirety of the Realm of Drago a long time ago, crowning themselves as kings of the entire region.

While dragons and Sages fought, two of them, in particular, eyed each other with murderous glares.

The King of Dragons and Sage Knight Vermillion. She, herself, took on the strongest dragon of the Beast Domain, allowing her the opportunity to fell the damned beast and end the battle. She surged with tremendous speed and momentum, flashing towards the gigantic monster of the Realm of Drago.

WHOOSH

The dragon shook where it stood as she disappeared right in the face of its senses.

The King of Dragons, able to behold the very fabric of space and time, was unable to locate the peak Sage.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

”ROOOAAARRR!!!” the dragon roared with pain as an agonizingly painful jab cracked its powerful scales. It swung its mighty tail with a blinding speed, hoping to blast her with its tremendous power.

And yet, it couldnʼt. WHOOSH

She disappeared in the face of the attack once more, melting out of reality itself. The dragon snarled with displeasure as it heightened its senses to the very maximum, struggling to locate its new prey. It roared as it could just faintly pick up her existence.

But it was in complete uncertainty.

”ROOOAARRR!!!” It shuddered as another powerful, piercing attack evoked profound pain from it. And yet again, her existence seemed to diffuse across the very fabric of reality itself.

This was the very foundation of her Martial Art.

Heisenbergʼs Uncertainty Principle.

It stated that there was a limit to the certainty that one had of both position and momentum, that the more certain was of another, the more uncertain it necessarily had to be of the other.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

She used hypnosis to endow maximum certainty of her momentum to her opponent, causing for maximal uncertainty in her position which led to absolute stealth in the middle of the battle, allowing her to maneuver without her opponent noticing.

The technique was so overwhelming that it allowed her to kill almost any opponent effortlessly.

Even for a creature as sturdy as the King of Dragons, it was only a matter of time, in her mind.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

She chipped away at the scales of the creature with blows that emerged from outside of its wildest fathoming of the reality around it. And yet, she had underestimated the intelligence of the creature.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!

”Rrghh…!” She gritted her teeth with shock as the creature unleashed its most powerful shockwave at the moment of impact. If there was one moment where it knew exactly where she was, it was the moment her attack struck it, stripping her of her godly stealth.

”ROOOAAARRR!!!” the King of Dragons roared with defiance as the war between the Martial Sages of the Britannian Empire and the dragons of the Realm of Drago raged on.
