The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 632: Chapter 632: Condition Improving

After Lin Tian hung up the phone, he immediately blocked the number to avoid any more hassle.

He stuffed the phone into his pocket, stepped out of the room, and noticed that Liou Qingcheng had already gone to class.

These past few days at the medical conference, Liou Qingcheng had learned quite a lot. Even though there was no class today, they planned to go find Zhao Xuefeng to solidify their knowledge.

Lin Tian grabbed something to eat, changed his clothes, and drove out in his flashy Porsche.

The car only stopped upon reaching the city’s central hospital.

Due to the medical conference, Xu Ning’an’s leg hadn’t been massaged for three days. While it wasn’t a long period, this was the best time for bone healing, and it was better not to waste time.

These past two days, he had been treating patients in front of the Ancient Hospital building, which was somewhat distant from Xu Ning’an’s building. Moreover, Lin Tian had no time to help Xu Ning’an; if he went over, surely other patients would cling to him and not let go?

After parking the car, Lin Tian headed straight to Xu Ning’an’s ward.

But as soon as he walked under the hospital building, he was recognized.

The one who recognized him was a sixty-year-old lady, who pointed at Lin Tian and shrieked, ”Lin Tian! Lin Tian! Everyone, look, Lin the miracle doctor is here at our hospital again!”

The power of a celebrity is immense, even more so when Lin Tian is both an idol and a skilled professional, which amplified his appeal.

After the lady’s call, patients, nurses, family members—everyone who could turn their heads did so to look at Lin Tian.

”Miracle Doctor Lin, are you here to see patients today?”

”Lin Tian, check me out first! My throat’s been sore for two days!”

”And me! I’ve had a mouth ulcer for two days too.”

”Hey~ Miracle Doctor Lin, don’t run away! *cough cough*... Damn cough.”

When Lin Tian used Spiritual Qi to run, he was as fast as greased lightning. Even the most professional sprinters couldn’t catch up, let alone these patients.

Lin Tian felt a bit sad; why did the first person to recognize him have to be a woman in her sixties?

Honestly, Lin Tian quite enjoyed this feeling of ’being chased.’ Fresh, exhilarating, it greatly satisfied his ego.

Lin Tian thought he needed a more low-key car; with such flashy colors and plates, he’d surely get blocked in the future?

With no other choice, Lin Tian opted for a quiet corner, pulled out a human-skin mask, and wore it on his face.

Having such things on him turned out to be incredibly useful at critical times.

Without changing his clothes or wearing a wig, Lin Tian walked boldly into the hospital, looking very inconspicuous. Even that lady from earlier didn’t glance at him again.

Lin Tian felt a little crestfallen; these probably weren’t true fans since they didn’t even recognize his clothes...

He smoothly arrived at Xu Ning’an’s ward, and as he stood at the door, ready to knock, he overheard the father and daughter talking inside.

They were chatting about future boyfriends...

Lin Tian didn’t catch much, but he heard Xu Ning’an say, ”The man I like is actually quite simple. He doesn’t need to be too handsome or exceptionally capable. Just a steady income and being completely devoted to me is enough.”

Hearing these points, Xu Haohai was finally relieved. Lin Tian was handsome, brilliant, with a frightfully high income, but most importantly, he was a playboy.

These points didn’t align at all with Xu Ning’an’s criteria for a partner. How could Xu Haohai not be worried?

”Dear, your idea is right. A simple life is best. Those handsome and rich ones are no good, especially that one who massaged your leg the other day; you could tell he’s up to no good, steer clear of him,” Xu Haohai advised earnestly.

”He’s quite good, don’t you think? He’s been all over the news these past days; you’ve seen it too.”

”No, no, such men surely have a lot going on. I think you should look for someone simple. Besides, he’s been at the Ancient Hospital next door these days, doesn’t come over to see you, clearly no good.”

”Don’t blame him; he seemed so exhausted.”

Just then, someone knocked on the ward door, and Xu Ning’an said, ”It’s unlocked, just come in.”

Lin Tian walked in and glared at masked Xu Haohai, thinking, ”You old fellow, just a few days away and you’re brainwashing your daughter about all my supposed flaws.”

”Who are you?” Xu Haohai glared back, thinking, ”Joking aside, does this stranger dare to glare at the household head? Doesn’t he want to live?”

Only then did Lin Tian remember he still had his mask on. He immediately took it off and said with irritation, ”It’s me!”

Seeing Lin Tian’s true face, Xu Haohai felt uneasy. He’d just been criticizing him, and here he was...

”You’re here,” Xu Ning’an smiled sweetly, her eyes curving with joy.

Witnessing this, Xu Haohai internally sighed, ”Well that’s over; the criteria I just mentioned seem like nothing. Once she saw him, just look at her eyes...”

”Yeah, I’m here. Sorry for not being able to help treat your leg these couple days, been really busy,” Lin Tian explained.

”I understand.”

Lin Tian pulled up a chair and sat beside the bed, narrowing his eyes to see through the cast and skin to Xu Ning’an’s kneecap.

Compared to before, the bones had mostly healed under medication and Spiritual Qi, with the smaller pieces now healed and the larger ones fusing, though some cracks remained. At this rate, she could recover in under half a month.

Then Lin Tian checked Xu Ning’an’s pulse; it was steady and strong, although she lacked exercise.

Lin Tian massaged her leg a few more times and said, ”That’s about it, you can have the cast removed.”

”What? Remove the cast?” Xu Haohai immediately stood from his chair, ”Has it been long enough to remove the cast already?”

”Yes, her kneecap has largely healed. Now she needs to take a few steps, apply some plaster, and after some rehab training, she’ll be almost fully recovered.”

”But... there are still cracks between the bones, isn’t it risky to start walking?”

”That’s the usual concern, but with me here, nothing will go wrong,” Lin Tian replied confidently.

”Uncle, let’s trust him. He wouldn’t harm me,” Xu Ning’an said.

Xu Haohai waved his hand, ”Fine, fine, you’re the professional anyway.”

Lin Tian nodded with satisfaction and said to Xu Haohai, ”Uncle, could you please bring Dr. Chen here? It’s best if he handles the cast removal.”
