The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 618: Chapter 618: Gynecological Disease

Diabetes is a common chronic disease that can cause dysfunction in multiple tissues of the body.

The woman in front of Lin Tian had a thin face, and after asking a few questions, it was apparent she exhibited symptoms common among diabetes patients.

Many famous people in ancient times had diabetes, not to mention emperors and concubines.

Back when Western medicine wasn’t so advanced, wasn’t every illness treated with ancient remedies?

Lin Tian happened to know several secret royal prescriptions for treating diabetes, of course, all using ancient medicine.

Since it wouldn’t be feasible to do free consultations every day, Lin Tian wrote down the entire treatment process for the woman, clearly outlining what medicine to take and what to do at each stage.

”Dad, look, another one left. Why do I feel this Lin Tian isn’t all that capable?” Liu Chan whispered, and if it weren’t for Mr. Zhang standing nearby, he would have started mocking by now.

”Hehe, don’t think that just because he cured a comatose patient, there’s no illness in this world that can stump him. Don’t forget, what kind of patients have we brought today? I don’t believe he can beat me.”

Liu Mang laughed sinisterly, not at all afraid of being overheard by Mr. Zhang and the other officials. Since they didn’t care for him, he had already distanced himself, and even if Mr. Zhang had ears like a hawk, he wouldn’t hear.

Zhang Zhixing watched the woman who had walked away, and asked the official beside him, ”You all saw Lin Tian’s treatment process just now, what do you think of it?”

Mr. Liu of the Medical Management Institute said, ”This young man is peculiar. He didn’t take the pulse or ask the patient about her condition, yet he could tell it’s diabetes at a glance and explained the symptoms clearly. That’s quite remarkable. It’s just that I don’t know what prescription he gave.”

Don’t underestimate the officials beside Zhang Zhixing; they are all pragmatic individuals related to medicine. They’re professionally trained, knowledgeable in both medicine and politics.

These people are Zhang Zhixing’s reliable assistants.

”Minister, should I have someone get that prescription?” an official asked beside Zhang Zhixing.

Zhang Zhixing waved his hand, ”No need, it doesn’t seem very honorable to do so. If we want to know, we can just ask the lad directly later.”

Lin Tian naturally noticed Zhang Zhixing and the others, a simple greeting sufficed; there was no need to fawn over them like a lapdog, that would only be annoying.

The best way to associate is indifferently among gentlemen.

A woman wearing a black trench coat walked in; she was Lin Tian’s next patient.

Lin Tian looked at her face; her features were beautiful. Her eyes and face appeared full of Spiritual Qi, similar to Sisi, a type of beauty.

At first glance, Lin Tian couldn’t see what illness this woman had. If he had to say she was different from a normal person, it was that she wore very thick makeup, with lots of foundation applied.

Perhaps others couldn’t notice, but Lin Tian could see that this woman’s face was covered in freckles, all hidden by the foundation.

The ”Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor” says: External manifestations reflect internal conditions.

The woman’s freckles were probably her ailment.

Seeing the person treating her illness was such a young handsome guy, the woman was momentarily stunned, then sat down in front of Lin Tian with a strange look on her face.

”You... are the renowned doctor treating me?”

The woman looked at Lin Tian incredulously; even though he was handsome, wasn’t he too young? And still a man!

”I’m not a renowned doctor, but my medical skills are decent. Miss, please extend your left wrist, and I’ll take your pulse,” Lin Tian said.

”I don’t want to see a doctor anymore, I don’t want to.” The woman’s expression clearly looked flustered, as she got up to leave.

Calm and unhurried, Lin Tian said, ”You’d better sit down. I can tell you have an unspeakable condition. It’s probably the freckles on your face, right? Rest assured, as a doctor with medical ethics, I won’t go around publicizing your condition.”

The woman paused her upward movement and quickly took out a small mirror from her bag. After checking for a long time and finding no problem with her makeup, she became even more puzzled, ”How did you see the freckles on my face?”

”Uh...” Lin Tian paused a bit, he couldn’t exactly tell her that he had X-ray vision, could he?

”It’s like this, our ancient medicine doesn’t have so much equipment. Besides taking the pulse, diagnosing involves looking, smelling, asking, and feeling. I could tell from your fine pores that your meridians are not very clear, and with such heavy makeup, there must be something on your face to cover. I think it may be freckles,” Lin Tian spouted nonsense confidently, surprisingly the woman believed him, thinking this young man had good medical skills.

”But... you’re a guy, how can you understand my condition!” she said very annoyed.

Seeing her look of disdain, Lin Tian thought if not for knowing he’s handsome, he would’ve thought she was expressing disgust.

”Just set aside those secular notions, treat me as a doctor,” Lin Tian advised.

”Alright then.” The woman sat back down, truthfully thinking Lin Tian was so handsome, letting him know wasn’t a big deal.

After sitting down, the woman handed over her information.

Lin Tian glanced down: Zhou Yan, female, 31, cervicitis.

Lin Tian felt a little embarrassed; no wonder she was so embarrassed. It turned out to be a gynecological condition.

The freckles on her face were probably due to this.

”Doctor... can you treat my condition?”

Speaking her condition in front of a young man made Zhou Yan feel quite embarrassed.

Cervicitis, a common gynecological disease. Though common, it’s quite torturous for women and very troublesome.

”I can treat it, but shouldn’t you be going to the gynecology department?” Lin Tian asked puzzled, seeing Zhou Yan’s hesitant look. How come she didn’t clarify whether the doctor was male or female before coming to see him? Most ancient medicine practitioners were men.

”I don’t know, I was arranged to come here, said a renowned doctor was offering free treatment.”

Lin Tian felt slightly embarrassed, yet another good deed by Liu Mang.

”Doctor, you said you can treat it, how do you treat it? Do I need to take herbal medicine? Herbal medicine is bitter, right? And do I have to take a lot of it? Does it also involve acupuncture? Acupuncture is painful, right?” Zhou Yan looked puzzled, if not for thinking Lin Tian was a bit capable and handsome, she would’ve left already.

Lin Tian shook his head, ”It seems you have some misconceptions about ancient medicine. For your condition, herbal medicine is needed, but it isn’t bitter and there isn’t much of it. Acupuncture isn’t required, just massage.”

”Massage? Massage where?” Zhou Yan’s expression was strange.

Without much thought, Lin Tian replied directly, ”Of course where the illness is, you massage there.”

”What?”

Zhou Yan exclaimed, leaping up from her chair. Massage where the illness is—I’m talking about gynecological issues!
