The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 81: Chapter 81: That Feeling

”What are you looking at?” Bai Shishi, using her phone to light the way for Lin Tian, asked weakly from where she was seated on the ground.

”Thinking about how to take down that steel plate above!” Lin Tian pursed his lips as he pondered a solution.

At this height, it’s not only difficult to take down the steel plate, but even touching it is impossible.

”I’m feeling a bit dizzy!” As Lin Tian stood there staring blankly at the steel plate, Bai Shishi’s weak voice caught his attention again.

Lin Tian turned his head and saw Bai Shishi sitting on the ground with her head lowered, holding a phone with one hand to provide light and holding her head with the other, looking very uncomfortable.

”Are you alright?” Lin Tian squatted down, expressing his concern for her.

”I’m fine, just feeling a bit uncomfortable in my head, like I can’t catch my breath!” Seeing Lin Tian squat in front of her, Bai Shishi held back waves of dizziness and looked up to smile.

But that smile looked like a pained grimace to Lin Tian.

”No, I must think of something quickly!” Lin Tian murmured to himself, immediately standing up again and looking at the steel plate overhead, noticing Bai Shishi’s condition was not good.

No matter what, one person could not reach the steel plate at the top of the elevator alone, so he could only try to have Bai Shishi help.

”If I lift her up, could we reach it?”

Suddenly thinking of this, Lin Tian immediately squatted down and sought Bai Shishi’s opinion: ”You’re probably feeling weak and dizzy due to a lack of oxygen. If it gets more severe, you might faint or even lose your life...”

Before Lin Tian could finish speaking, Bai Shishi exclaimed in alarm, ”Ah... You... You’re saying I’m going to die soon?”

Bai Shishi’s panicked voice echoed in the dark elevator, almost causing Lin Tian to stumble and fall.

”No... it’s not that serious yet, don’t panic, let me finish!” Lin Tian shook his head repeatedly, stopping Bai Shishi from continuing.

Bai Shishi’s face was full of panic, but she quickly calmed down, signaling Lin Tian to go on.

”If there’s no rescue, it could indeed go the way I mentioned!” Lin Tian said, noticing Bai Shishi about to scream again and quickly added, ”But if we can take down the steel plate protecting the elevator, things will get much better!”

”You mean the ceiling?” Bai Shishi asked, raising her phone to look at the steel plate overhead that served a ceiling-like function.

”Yes, that steel plate. As long as we can take it down, the ventilation won’t be blocked and you won’t feel dizzy or pass out from lack of oxygen!” Lin Tian nodded.

”Then what are you waiting for? Take it down quickly!” Bai Shishi asserted, like giving an order, once she understood that the sole culprit was that steel plate.

”Do you think I’d still be squatting here in front of you if I could take it down?” Lin Tian replied, half amused, reaching out his hands helplessly.

”Then what do you mean?” Bai Shishi looked confused.

”The elevator is too high, I can’t reach it by myself. We need to work together. I’ll lift you, and you can take down the steel plate, okay?” Lin Tian explained his idea.

”No problem!” Bai Shishi agreed without much thinking.

She didn’t even notice that ”lifting you” meant there would be physical contact!

Why would Lin Tian seek Bai Shishi’s opinion?

Because if they were to collaborate, there would definitely be physical contact; it’s summer now, clothes are light, and lifting her would mean skin-contact with skin.

That’s why he wanted to get Bai Shishi’s consent, to avoid any unexpected situation if they ended up embracing...

Lin Tian hadn’t expected Bai Shishi to agree so quickly, and since this woman wasn’t being shy, it wouldn’t do for him to overthink it—not a manly thing.

”Alright, let me lift you up. Try to see if you can move the steel plate!” Lin Tian said while standing up, opening his arms in preparation to lift her.

”Okay!” Bai Shishi also stood up, having agreed so readily just now, but suddenly feeling shy as she stood before Lin Tian.

She was just wearing a shirt, and shorts on her lower half. If Lin Tian were to lift her, his hands would inevitably touch her body.

Unconsciously, Bai Shishi swallowed nervously, thinking about being touched by a man—this was a first for her.

”What’s wrong?” Seeing Bai Shishi standing there looking stunned, Lin Tian thought she was feeling very uncomfortable.

”It’s nothing, go ahead and lift me!” Bai Shishi realized she couldn’t bring herself to lean willingly into Lin Tian’s embrace, so decided to let him take the initiative.

”Ah?” This time it was Lin Tian’s turn to be stunned, he had originally intended to open his arms and let Bai Shishi come into his embrace, but now it seemed he had to take the initiative to lift her?

Contact with a woman?

And in such a dark, confined space—what if his hand shook from nervousness and touched somewhere inappropriate.

What would he do then?

”Why are you just standing there, hurry up?” Bai Shishi, seeing Lin Tian hesitating, urged him loudly.

A real man can bend and stretch.

It’s just holding a woman, right?

What’s wrong with that?

Thinking of this, Lin Tian decided to go for it.

Being a man, he should act decisively—say what you like loudly; do what you want, don’t dilly-dally, that’s not manly at all.

Looking at the hazy figure of Bai Shishi in front of him, Lin Tian opened his arms and soon touched her body.

Due to sweating, Bai Shishi’s body was slightly damp, and the faint scent of her perfume was even more enticing.

As his hands touched Bai Shishi’s back, the soft skin was palpable even through her shirt.

”Huff huff!” At the moment he embraced Bai Shishi, Lin Tian, who had been trying to control his breathing, could no longer maintain a steady rhythm and began breathing heavily, the air filled with Bai Shishi’s fragrance.

”Huff huff!” Bai Shishi, embraced by Lin Tian, was also not feeling much better; with her limbs powerless and head swimming, her body felt increasingly weak.

That sensation...

How to describe it?

If there were a bed nearby, she would have flopped down on it weakly.

”Up!” With a few deep breaths, Lin Tian lifted Bai Shishi abruptly.

”No, I can’t reach it!” Bai Shishi, lifted by Lin Tian, reached up with her right hand to touch the steel plate, while holding the phone with her left. Unfortunately, there was still a hand’s width of distance.

”Then let me try a different way!” Noticing the gap between Bai Shishi’s fingers and the steel plate, Lin Tian set her down.

He then squatted down entirely, opening his arms, but paused again.

He had just held Bai Shishi around the waist, but it still wasn’t quite enough.

So if he just adjusted his hold a bit lower, she could reach!

But lower than the waist would be the hips.

Could it be necessary to...
