The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 74: Chapter 74: I’m Not Interested in Your Boyfriend

Miss Bai is waiting for you to go to bed?

Mei Ruyan’s worldview changed instantly.

She didn’t expect him to have such a complicated relationship with Bai Shishi.

Lin Tian took out his phone and hurriedly called Bai Shishi.

”Hey, Miss Bai!” Lin Tian shouted urgently as soon as the call connected.

”Are you coming back or not, kid? If not, I’m going to sleep; I’m so sleepy!” Bai Shishi said lazily, clearly drowsy.

”I’m not coming back tonight!”

”Not coming back? Where are you staying then?” Bai Shishi asked, curious.

”I’m staying at Mei’s place for the night,” Lin Tian said in a low voice.

”Hiss!” Bai Shishi gasped, as if she had discovered a new continent, suddenly wide awake.

”Wait...what did you say? Is the ’Mei’ you mentioned actually Mei Ruyan?” Bai Shishi entered gossip mode.

”Yep!”

”Tsk tsk~ You’re something else, kid, staying at Mei Ruyan’s place on just the second day of knowing each other, impressive!” Bai Shishi clicked her tongue.

”What’s the big deal?” Lin Tian didn’t understand why Bai Shishi spoke in such a tone.

Remember, I spent my first day at your place too, right?

Is it really that surprising?

”Don’t you know that Mei Ruyan likes women? You’re a man, after all!” Bai Shishi found it unbelievable: ”Ruyan used to really dislike men, so if she invited you to her home, she must think highly of you!”

”Ah!” Bai Shishi’s words made Lin Tian realize something.

”Still talking?” Hearing Bai Shishi and Lin Tian discussing her, Mei Ruyan said coldly.

”I’ll speak to you later, Miss Bai, you rest early too, goodnight!” Lin Tian quickly hung up the phone.

Listening to the dial tone, Bai Shishi’s lips curled up: ”Lin Tian, oh Lin Tian~ How many more things will you do to surprise me?”

Mei Ruyan’s home wasn’t as big as Bai Shishi’s; it was a simple two-bedroom apartment with modest furniture, kept very clean.

Once they got back, it was already the early morning hours, and they were too tired and sleepy.

So they didn’t do anything, didn’t wash up, and each went to sleep in their own room.

When the sun was already high, Lin Tian lazily opened his eyes, his first thought was to get up quickly; he was going to be late for work again.

He rushed out of the bedroom to find Mei Ruyan eating instant noodles and watching TV.

”You’re awake, why didn’t you wake me?” Lin Tian looked at the time; it was 10 a.m. Well, he was late again.

”Why would I wake you?” Mei Ruyan pointed to the kitchen: ”There’s some in the pot, go eat it!”

Since he was already late, he might as well enjoy this leisurely morning.

After eating a whole pot of instant noodles, Lin Tian let out a satisfied burp.

”Finished eating?” Mei Ruyan asked.

”Finished!” Lin Tian comfortably leaned back on the sofa.

”Now wash the pots and dishes!”

”Why?” Lin Tian did not want to at all.

”First, this is my house, you do as I say!”

”Second, I cooked the noodles, you washing the dishes isn’t wrong, is it?”

Mei Ruyan gave Lin Tian two reasons he had to do the chores.

In her house, he couldn’t help but comply.

Lin Tian decisively set about cleaning the dishes in the kitchen.

About an hour later, close to 11 a.m., they finally left the house to go to work.

”Do you always go to work at this time?” Sitting on the back of a heavy motorcycle, Lin Tian asked with interest.

”I go if I feel like it, I don’t if I don’t!” Mei Ruyan said freely and easily.

Lin Tian was so startled his eyes nearly bulged: ”Miss Bai doesn’t say anything to you? Doesn’t she fine you?”

”My girlfriend, why would she fine me?” Mei Ruyan said as she revved the engine, and the motorcycle shot forward.

”Girlfriend!” Lin Tian’s face was full of shock.

Bai Shishi and Mei Ruyan, two women, intimately together.

”Honey, I want it!” Bai Shishi cooed at Mei Ruyan.

”Sweetheart, I’ll get it for you right away!” Mei Ruyan said dashingly.

This scene appeared in Lin Tian’s mind without him realizing it.

Sweat dripped from his temples...

”I didn’t imagine Miss Bai got ’caught’ by Mei!” Lin Tian felt the world was dark.

Two beauties, and not a single man won them over.

What a waste.

”By the way, Mei, did I pass my assessment yesterday?” With the speed increasing, Lin Tian held onto Mei Ruyan’s waist.

Feeling his hands grasp her waist, Mei Ruyan’s heart raced, but she maintained her composure: ”Barely passed, but remember never to underestimate anyone, especially since Da Xiong’s ability is considered low-level among Du Dahai’s subordinates!”

”So, can you tell me everything about Du Dahai now?” Lin Tian asked.

”I’ll get the information ready in a few days and give it to you then!” Mei Ruyan nodded in agreement.

”Phew!” Lin Tian took a deep breath, having spent an entire day and night, he finally got it done.

After overtaking several vehicles, they finally reached Xianglong Tea House at 11.

Mei Ruyan headed straight to the monitoring room, preparing all the information about Du Dahai for Lin Tian.

As for Lin Tian, he obediently walked to Bai Shishi’s office.

Standing at the office door, Lin Tian pushed the door open, and the first thing he saw was Bai Shishi sitting at her desk.

”Huh~ what are you doing here?” Bai Shishi was surprised to see Lin Tian.

”I’m here...is that not right?” Lin Tian pointed his index finger at himself, confused.

I’m here for work?

Isn’t that right?

Why was Bai Shishi asking this way?

Shouldn’t she be scolding me for being late?

This is unexpected.

”Didn’t expect you to come so early!” Bai Shishi shifted her tone: ”I thought you wouldn’t come today!”

”...” Lin Tian was speechless, large beads of sweat rolling down his temples.

So, it seems I wasn’t supposed to come today?

”How was your night at Mei Ruyan’s place?” Bai Shishi asked with interest.

”Miss Bai, don’t get the wrong idea. I have no intentions whatsoever towards your girlfriend!” Lin Tian waved his hands repeatedly.

He really didn’t want to get involved in matters between two women.

”Girlfriend?” Bai Shishi frowned: ”You already know?”

”I don’t know anything!” Lin Tian shook his head, suggesting he knows but doesn’t really know.

”Let’s not talk about it anymore,” Bai Shishi sighed, their relationship was too complex to explain briefly.

Bai Shishi’s response reaffirmed Lin Tian’s thoughts.

Bai Shishi and Mei Ruyan are both lesbians!!!

”Boss, it’s my first day at work, and I’m not sure what to do!” Lin Tian suddenly shifted the topic to his job.

One, to avoid the previous topic and potential awkwardness for Bai Shishi, and two, to show his eagerness to work hard.
