The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 55: Chapter 55: What Did I Do to Deserve This? Even Sleeping Brings Trouble

”To East Lake Villas!” Bai Shishi spoke softly from the back seat.

”Going home, huh?” The taxi driver chuckled lightly, flooring the gas pedal as the taxi zoomed through the empty streets at night.

The taxi stopped at East Lake Villas, Bai Shishi got out first, and Lin Tian stayed behind to pay the fare.

”Thirty bucks!” The taxi driver glanced at the meter and hurriedly asked in a low voice when he saw Bai Shishi get out, ”Bro, where’d you find her?”

Lin Tian handed the driver thirty bucks, looking puzzled, ”Where’d I find who?”

”Such a beautiful lady, where’d you find her? How much per night?” The taxi driver gave Lin Tian a knowing look.

This time Lin Tian understood too, and he awkwardly chuckled, ”She’s my boss!”

”Huh?” The taxi driver’s mouth dropped open wide enough to fit an egg: ”Bro, you’re impressive, getting your boss into bed!”

”No, no!” Lin Tian grew extremely embarrassed, hurrying to get out of the car; who knows what else this seasoned driver might ask if he stays any longer.

Having gotten out early, Bai Shishi saw Lin Tian chatting with the driver and curiously asked, ”What were you two whispering about in the car?”

”Nothing?” Lin Tian wouldn’t dare tell Bai Shishi.

”Spill it!” The more Lin Tian acted like this, the more Bai Shishi thought something was up.

”Actually, it was nothing much; the driver just asked where I found you!”

”What do you mean?” Bai Shishi didn’t understand at all.

”Like from which club and how much for a night!” Lin Tian mumbled as he explained.

”Ugh~! You men, your hearts are truly filthy!” Finally understanding, Bai Shishi gave Lin Tian a disdainful look.

Glancing inadvertently at the enormous villa complex in front, Lin Tian exclaimed, ”Wow, boss, you’re really rich!”

”Stop babbling, hurry up and go, I’m exhausted!” Bai Shishi quickly walked towards the entrance of the complex.

”Nice place!” Upon arriving at Bai Shishi’s house, Lin Tian glanced at the villa’s interior, very luxurious, definitely incomparable to the shabby dorm rooms at school.

”It’s okay! Such a big villa and I live here all alone, it’s a bit messy!” Bai Shishi was quite modest.

”Wanna shower?” Bai Shishi asked.

”Covered in sweat, of course, I need a shower!”

”That’s the bathroom, you first or me?” Bai Shishi pointed at a fully glass door.

”I’ll go first!” Lin Tian headed towards the bathroom.

For a man, a shower is all about speed, washing face, hair, and body all in one go—less than ten minutes and Lin Tian was out.

”That was fast!” Bai Shishi was already in pajamas and had laid a mat on the living room floor, complete with a pillow and a blanket.

”What else? Stay inside?” Lin Tian joked half-heartedly, pointing at the mat on the floor, ”Am I sleeping here tonight?”

”Yeah!” Bai Shishi nodded, ”Nobody lives upstairs, it’s very dirty. The other bedrooms on the first floor are also dusty, and it’s too late to tidy up, so just make do in the living room for the night.”

”Doesn’t matter, as long as there’s a place to sleep!” Lin Tian shrugged, kicked off his slippers, and lay straight on the mat, ”Quite comfy, you should wash up too!”

”Shall I turn off the lights for you?” Bai Shishi asked Lin Tian, but before he could answer, she flicked the switch, and the living room went dark.

Thankfully, the bathroom light was still on, barely illuminating the living room through the white little door.

Lin Tian lay on the mat, watching Bai Shishi walk into the bathroom, his eyelids started to droop, feeling quite sleepy.

While nodding off, Lin Tian accidentally glanced at the bathroom door, seeing on the large glass pane a silhouette.

A blurry dark figure appeared clear before Lin Tian’s eyes.

”This door!” Seeing the silhouette, Lin Tian finally understood the situation.

The living room was dark, the bathroom light was on, and the bathroom door had a big glass panel. With such a contrast, the figure inside was visible through the glass.

The graceful curves swayed beyond the glass...

”Can’t a guy get a good night’s sleep around here?” Lin Tian turned, feeling a bit parched.

In this inexplicable torment, Lin Tian dozed off, only for the bathroom door to suddenly open, the sound pulling him back from the brink of sleep.

”So tired!” Lin Tian had not yet reached deep sleep and was startled awake by the noise.

This sense of being awake made him even more tired; he switched from a side-sleeping to a face-up position.

Bai Shishi came out of the bathroom; initially, the bathroom light illuminated the living room clearly, but after a few steps and switching off the bathroom light, she was plunged into darkness.

Lin Tian’s mat was horizontally placed in the living room, Bai Shishi had to pass through to get to her room, and now unable to see, she could only rely on her memory of where the mat was placed to navigate around it.

Bai Shishi began walking purely by memory, feeling confident, but she didn’t manage to avoid the mat and wound up at Lin Tian’s feet.

As she stepped forward, Bai Shishi suddenly felt something underfoot, instantly losing her balance, instinctively flailing her hands to grab onto something.

But alas, what was there to grab onto in the living room? Her body started to fall forward uncontrollably.

”Ouch~!” Lin Tian, in his semi-conscious state, suddenly felt something step on his ankle, which hurt enough to snap him wide awake.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t finished gasping when he felt a dark figure crash onto him.

”Ow~!” Lin Tian, lying on the ground and bearing the weight, immediately felt a tightness in his abdomen and something hit his chest.

Damp hair carrying a fragrant aroma covered Lin Tian’s face, and in the next second, he felt something press against his lips!

Soft~

Smooth~

Sweet~

”Oh!” Bai Shishi, having fallen, landed directly on top of Lin Tian, her right hand instinctively trying to support her body, ended up pressing on Lin Tian’s chest.

The immense impact caused Bai Shishi’s wrist to go weak, and she fell again.

This time, they ended up face to face.

”Sorry, I tripped over something!” Bai Shishi, lying on top of Lin Tian, hastily apologized.

”You stepped on my foot, pressed on my chest, and hit my mouth~!” Lin Tian was in agony; what had he done to deserve this, wanting just a peaceful sleep yet encountering such trouble?

As if their night was destined to be uneventful, fate decided to play a trick on them...

”I didn’t mean to!” Bai Shishi apologized repeatedly.

”Hurry up, you’re gonna squash me!” Although Lin Tian could tolerate Bai Shishi’s weight, having one of her hands pressing on his chest made breathing difficult.

”Sorry!” Bai Shishi stood up, hurriedly scurrying back to the bedroom, not bothering to find her slippers which had flown off somewhere unknown.
