The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 322: Bloodrite of the Prince

”Stop looking at the dancer old man, remember your age”, Rex suddenly said while sipping his drink, he leans on a buffet table right beside Vargas.

Hearing this, Vargas choked on his drink as he heard Rexʼs nasty remarks.

He even coughs a couple of times making Rex chuckle as he asks with an innocent look, ”What are you doing here? How did you get invited?”

”Stop pretending you donʼt know, Linda probably already told you”, Rex replied calmly.

Since Rex decided to bring Linda to the Banquet to accompany him, thereʼs no chance that Linda didnʼt tell something like this to her boss, Vargas.

Linda who is standing beside Rex can only smile wryly,

Based on her expression, Rex knows that what he thought was true and Linda already told Vargas.

After saying that, Rex glance to the side seeing a man that just talked with Vargas.

The man is standing straight like an arrow wearing a maroon tuxedo, his white hair and beard are styled well as they portray his age, and this man has an aura so sharp even amongst the room full of high-rank Awakened like this place.

Itʼs clear that heʼs no ordinary man,

The man that just talked with Vargas casually before Rex approached him, Rex already somewhat guessed who it is, ”Is that Sebrof that you just talked to?”

”President Sebrof, Yes”, Vargas said while signaling to Rex to be polite.

Rex cursed his mouth since he forgot that he was in a room where many of these Awakened can stomp him easily, he then glances at Sebrof and finds that Sebrof is glancing at him sharply.

It makes his body jolted upon seeing this,

Sebrof is the most powerful man in the whole Ratmawati City! For Rex to address him so casually makes Rex realize his mistake, Sebrofʼs aura is crushingly powerful even when heʼs not openly showing it to Rex.

Rex smiled politely while raising his glass,

Although he tries to look natural, the cold sweat on his forehead and hand shows otherwise before Sebrof turns his gaze away with a scoff.

With Seborf turning his head away, Rex can finally breathe.

Looking at this, Vargas pulls Rex further from Sebrof before he said, ”Are you crazy? President Sebrof is not in a good mood so you should be careful with your words”

”Iʼm sorry”, Rex apologized since the words just slipped out of his mouth.

Vargas sighed after scrunching his face, thankfully Sebrof didnʼt pursue this matter which can lead to a troublesome problem for Rex.

He then asks, ”So, What do you want to tell me?”

”The statement is done, you can meet up with John Webster in the city of your choice. They will bring him there, and then you can continue to broadcast through the media as planned”, Rex said making a smile appear on Vargasʼs face.

A few hours ago before Rex went to this banquet,

The Green Messenger has already informed Rex through the crow that his attack is finished successfully, two of the Vampiresʼ food storage has been destroyed completely.

With this, the plan to force Sebrof has reached the end stage,

Vargas then mumbles happily, ”So thatʼs why some of the Vampires retreated back from Eqosa City, turns out they manage to do it”

After nodding his head a couple of times, Vargas finally said, ”Any City near Eqosa City will do”

”Alright, Iʼll inform them to bring John Webster”, Rex replied, with this Sebrof will definitely sign the temporary alliance between the SCO and the UWO.

But Rex canʼt help to think how would Sebrof do the alliance,

Thereʼs a high chance that Sebrof will ally with the SCO with the condition that their alliance will be kept a secret, and that will definitely upset the SCO.

Rex was surprised to see the systemʼs notification,

The full moon breathing technique he bought is a Supreme Grade, it is the highest grade of a breathing technique and because of that Rexʼs expectation is high for this day.

”Hmm...”, Rex exhales roughly as he can feel the energy getting absorbed into his body.

Even every time he exhales, his breathing turns slightly red but thankfully the red color is so faint that others can hardly see them.

ʼThis is nice...ʼ, Rex thought as he look at the palm of his hand.

The symbol that he drew with the red chalk is glowing faintly as Rexʼs body automatically absorbs the Lunar Eclipse energy, Rex doesnʼt feel a thing except for feeling more refreshed than before.

Unlike the full moon breathing technique that he used before during the Dark Moon,

This one is a Supreme Grade so thereʼs no painful feeling like during the Dark Moon. With every breath that Rex takes, his body also absorbs the Lunar Eclipse energy just like breathing air.

”Iʼll inform the media, tomorrow afternoon the news should already be broadcasted”, Vargas said.

He then signals for Linda to follow him before she nodded her head, ”Iʼm going to handle the matter with Vargas, donʼt get into trouble alright”, Linda said before she follows Vargas.

Rex then nodded his head nonchalantly,

Vargas left while dialing someone on his phone followed by Linda whoʼs consulting him, Rex was left alone beside the buffet table.

After a moment, he decided to look at the buffet table.

Rex takes a chocolate cupcake on the table before he takes a bite, ʼOh yeah, Is Adhara okay?ʼ, Rex thought as he looks back to the table where Adhara is sitting at.

At the far corner, Rex saw Adhara sitting while playing with her phone.

Thereʼs no indication of her feeling the Full Moon that is shining above, itʼs clear that what the system said about the Lunar Eclipse is a Selfish Moon must be true.

Rex can feel his body trembling upon the full moon,

He can already feel slight trouble in maintaining his form, it was different than during the Yule Moon or the Violet Moon.

It forced Rex to steady his breathing while holding the edge of the buffet table,

After collecting himself to maintain his form, Rex looks back to Adharaʼs seat intending to go back since Daniel is still occupied.

But then, he noticed something,

ʼIs that Hans?ʼ, Rex thought as he saw Hans walking towards Adhara.

There are two glasses in his hand but when Rex scans the glass, his eyes widen as he immediately rushes towards Adhara.

Meanwhile,

Adhara is playing with her phone,

Sheʼs currently looking at her balance account with a happy expression, the money that she got from Daniel reached the 8 digit mark and this is the most money that she possesses at a time in her entire life.

”I canʼt wait to surprise Rex”, Adhara mumbles happily.

But then suddenly, she sensed that someone is approaching her as she glance at her back before her expression turns stiff upon seeing the man walking towards her.

Adhara stands up from her seat warily and said, ”What are you doing here?”

”Thatʼs cold, Iʼm just offering you a peace drink for today”, Hans replied with an unreadable smile, he looks genuine but Adhara sure hell doesnʼt trust him.

She then said, ”What did you put in there?”

”Poison?”

”Drugs?”

Because sheʼs dealing with Hans, itʼs clear that he has some motive in approaching her.

Hearing this, Hans pretends to touch his chest feeling hurt by Adharaʼs words, ”That hurts, Itʼs only a drink you donʼt have to drink it if you donʼt trust me”, he said while handing the glass.

Adhara hesitated for a moment before she stretches out her hand to take the glass,

Upon seeing Adharaʼs hand reaching out for the glass, the smile on Hansʼ face started to grow wider but when her hand was about to touch the glass,

Grab!

”Hans! Itʼs been a long time, I havenʼt seen you in a while”, a voice suddenly interrupted them.

Hearing this voice, Hans frowns as the glass that he was about to give to Adhara got taken by Rex who is smiling at him from the side.

Rex holds the glass with a wide smile and said, ”I heard you visited recently”

”Iʼm sad that you come to Faraday University but you didnʼt visit me, Donʼt you think thatʼs quite cold of you?”, he added sarcastically.

This makes Hans grit his teeth, ”Excuse me”

Without even answering Rexʼs sarcastic question, Hans excuses himself as he tries to walk away from the scene but Rex was not about to let him go that easily.

Rex grab Hansʼ shoulder stopping him on his track,

”Where are you going so soon? You didnʼt answer my question”, Rex said demandingly.

But with a bit of anger, Hans grabbed Rexʼs hand that is holding his shoulder, ”Let go of me, Rex. Iʼm not going to ask twice”, he said threateningly.

When Hans was about to twist Rexʼs hand,

Crack!

Rex suddenly put more pressure onto his grip completely shocking Hans,

Hans tries to pull Rexʼs hand away from his shoulder only to find out that he canʼt, he looks at Rex with a shocked expression as he thought in surprise, ʼDidnʼt he just reach the sixth rank...?ʼ

ʼWhy canʼt I make him let goʼ, Hans thought as he kept trying to pull Rexʼs hand away.

But Rexʼs grip was like a powerful death grip as Rexʼs face darkened, this made Hans start to sweat since he didnʼt expect that he canʼt move Rexʼs hand from his shoulder.

”Rrrghh!”, Hans grunted feeling his collar bone was about to break.

After holding him for a moment, Rex finally let go as the smile on his face returned as he stares at Hans innocently while Hans rubs his throbbing shoulder.

He looks at Rex weirdly for a moment before he reluctantly left,

”How did you manage to do that? Hans should be a higher rank Awakened than you”, Adhara suddenly said from the back.

Hearing this, Rex looks back with a stiff expression.

Without saying any words, Rex just looked up but Adhara completely understand it.

But she felt weird though since she doesnʼt feel any moonlight energy, she can hardly believe that this night is the night of a Full Moon.

With the Full Moon shining high up in the sky,

Rexʼs stats have been doubled because of this, the system notification even told Rex that the increase amounted to 150%, 20% higher than his normal increase.

While Rex is trying to sit down, Adhara can see that Rex is moving weirdly,

Looking at Rexʼs stiff expression with veins starting to bulge on his neck, Adhara looks down and finds that Rexʼs hand is steaming with his veins starting to turn black.

Rex hurriedly puts the glass Hans gave on the table before he said, ”Silver...”

”What?!”, Adhara exclaimed upon realizing that Hans just handed a Silver glass, it doesnʼt make sense since Hans shouldnʼt know that theyʼre Werewolves.

Fearing to attract attention to Rex,

Adhara takes a scarf on her bag before wrapping it in Rexʼs hand, she even leans towards Rex a bit to cover his throbbing steaming hand because of the Silver.

”How did they get suspicious of us?”, Adhara asks in confusion.

Rex shakes his head as he also didnʼt know how they get suspicious, ”I donʼt know, but we need to be careful from now on”

ʼThe decrease in stats because of Silver has been reduced from 40% to 20%, even the pain is not that much compared to getting shot by the Green Messenger before. Is this the effect of the Lunar Eclipse?ʼ, Rex thought inside his head.

While Adhara is wrapping her scarf on Rexʼs hand,

Rexʼs eyes suddenly widen after feeling a slight hard thump on his heart, he touches his chest in reflex as he lowers his gaze in pain,

He even started to gasp for air while holding his chest painfully,

”Rex?! Whatʼs wrong?”, Adhara started to panic while keep looking around fearing that they might attract the attention of others.

But thankfully, their table is pretty far and the people are too busy talking with each other.

Rexʼs expression turns ugly as he tries to hold in the pain, ʼThis is not the breathing technique or the Silver, Whatʼs happening to me?!ʼ, he screamed inside his head.

Itʼs like having his heart stepped on by someone,

The pain makes it hard for Rex to breathe, notification from the system also clouded his vision.

”Huakh!!”, Rex covers his mouth as he coughed out blood.

He was still confused about the situation, ʼBloodrite of the Prince? Who did the ritual?!ʼ

Supernatural Territory, Scarlet Banes Kingdom.

”My King, itʼs starting!”, Hallac said while looking at the huge pot in front of him that is starting to glow red exactly like the Lunar Eclipse shining above.

Hearing this, King Baralt looks at the big pot intently.

He then asks, ”Explain to me whatʼs happening Hallac”

”The spell that I conjure is a spell called Werewolf of the Strong, it is a spell to locate where is the strongest bloodline of a Werewolf reside. This spell will pinpoint the direction of the particular Werewolf with the strongest bloodline”, Hallac explains slowly.

While heʼs explaining, King Baralt is impatiently waiting for the spell to bore fruit.

Red energy swirls above the big pot before suddenly,

BOOM!

A powerful shockwave exploded as the red mist-like energy emits mythical energy, it caught Hallac in surprise making King Baralt asks hurriedly, ”Whatʼs happening? Talk to me Hallac!”

”This canʼt be...”, Hallac mumbles in shock.

The mist-like energy hovers above the big pot before it shot out of the room window, it happens so fast but King Baralt and Hallac already look out of the window to see the direction where the red-mist energy went.

With a splash of the mist-like red energy, the energy splits in two directions.

Almost all of them went in a direction while the leftover energy went in another direction, this makes King Baralt confused as he glance at Hallac for an answer.

After gulping harshly, Hallac then said, ”Thereʼs two...”

”Two what?!”, King Baralt asks impatiently, he wanted to know who he needs to devour.

Hallac then glances at King Baralt with a blank expression and continues, ”Thereʼs two Werewolf that has pure bloodline, and both of them are a Prince...”

”WHAT?! TWO PRINCES?!”, King Baralt shouted in shock.
