The Golem Mage

Chapter 394 394: External Training.

” Well, I wonʼt take up too much of your time, I just want to say that after placing you all under the guidance of public mentors and private instructors, it is finally time to move on to the main event.”

”The Royal Mage Academy that had visited our academy for an exchange of knowledge does not simply move from academy to academy each year just for the sake of learning, If you believe that, then you must be mistaken.”

” They choose their destinations strategically, focusing on academies they perceive as potential threats, and they only move when the annual inter-academy competition Is near, as the exchange serves as a perfect opportunity for them to gauge the strength of their competitors.”

”Initially, I couldnʼt understand why they chose to visit our academy, as we have never posed a threat to them in previous tournaments, however, it appears that the presence of a set of geniuses among us has caught their attention this time, they are here to assess whether we will be a threat to them in the upcoming competition.”

”Thanks to Alecʼs victory in a crucial battle, we have proven ourselves and thwarted their personal agendas against our prestigious academy, as they were not able to meet all our powerhouses, the inter-academy competition is set to take place in three monthsʼ time.”

”And you all are simply a group of inexperienced individuals who have not truly faced the harsh realities of bloody battles, Therefore, we have devised a training plan that will see you spending the next three months outside the academy, training as soldiers of the War God Mage Academy.”

” Your strength will determine your rank, and your achievements in battle will determine what you can exchange with the academy,” the new Dean explained, causing confusion among the mages as they looked at each other.

While they were all aware of the upcoming inter-academy competition, the general consensus was that the new generation of the War God Mage Academy had never been able to compete with the other academies, and didnʼt even bother with it in the slightest.

However, something had sparked a newfound passion within them after Alecʼs victory over Dragonmir, giving them a sense of hope they had never experienced before.

”Believe me when I say that this training regime will push you to your limits, It will be extremely challenging, and there may even be casualties, if you all are not careful, you may even lose your lives, but the War God Mage Academy is no longer taking it easy on the first year disciples,” the Dean warned.

”We are thrusting you into the harsh reality of the world to prepare you for what lies ahead, and at the end of it all the top ten students with the highest achievement points will be selected to represent the academy in this upcoming event.”

”In the capital of as the mage team from the War God Mage Academy, we have established eight ranks that are followed in leadership, as our academy still operates more like a military institution, with the hierarchy as follows: Knight, Squire, Sergeant, Commander, Captain, Major, Colonel, General.”

”I will now hand over the explanation to the latest General of the War God Mage Academy, Edward Wolf!” the Dean proclaimed, pointing to the skies.

As a mage descended from above, creating a dramatic entrance as bolts of lightning crackled around him, illuminating his powerful presence.

His dark and flowing hair moved with the electric energy, each strand appearing alive and charged with magic.

The stormy clouds seemed to part in reverence to his command, as if nature itself recognized his formidable mastery over the elements.

His sharp eyes glowed with intensity, reflecting the fierce power of the storm surrounding him.

Every movement he made exuded confidence and grace, as if he were destined to wield such incredible power.

His hands, adorned with intricate runes and symbols that seemed to shimmer with arcane energy, crackled with raw power.

His handsomeness was undeniable, he had an otherworldly handsomeness that seemed to transcend time and space, drawing the gaze of all who beheld him.

As he touched down on the front porch , the lightning and fire swirling around him just seems to disappear almost instantly

” You all have already heard my name, so I donʼt have to reintroduced myself, for the next three month am going to be your commanding leader, Iʼm your general and you would follow my orders or your superior orders without question ”

” is that understood? ” Edwardʼs voice spread to the first year mages as they all.

Felt his sharp gaze on them, with the way he had his both hands behind his back, acting like a superior to them already

” yes sir” they all responded

” All of you would be drafted into a city with lots of missions and enemies to fight on Blood Moon, while honouring the banner of the war God Mage Academy, you can either act alone with the squad you pick or go alone, which ever feel is ok for you ”

”Letʼs discuss the ranks now, if you are a Tier 1 Mage, you will receive a Knight medal magically engraved on your student badge, additionally, you will have access to all the items Tier 1 Mages are permitted to purchase, although the selection is somewhat limited,” Edward explained.

”As a Tier 2 Mage, your badge will be adorned with a Squire medal, and you would have the opportunity to select up to ten Knights to serve under you during the external training period, however, opting for this responsibility means you forfeit the chance of being selected for a higher-ranked team,” he continued, outlining the implications of the Tier 2 rank.

”If you attain Tier 3 Mage status, your badge will showcase a Sergeant medal, You will be able to choose up to ten Squires who have not formed teams as their Commander under your leadership.”

” Among the first-year students, only four individuals have reached Tier 4 Mage status in the academicʼs eyes, allowing for the formation of only four Commander squads with ten Sergeants assigned to each team,”

Edward revealed, leaving the audience stunned by the revelation that there were four Tier 4 Mages, a number that contradicted their previous knowledge that Lucas Blade was the sole Tier 4 Mage in all the First years.

Just days prior, the mages had witnessed Alec engaging in combat with his low Tier 3 Mage realm, so they believe that his sudden ascension to the Tier 4 realm seemed implausible, as there is no way he would have jumped four small ranks in five days to them.

As they pondered this perplexing situation, Edward Wolfʼs voice resonated through the area once more.

”Settle down, I will now reveal the names of your Tier 4 commanders, some of whom have kept their advancements discreet till now,” Edward announced, drawing the attention of the assembled mages.

”The first individual to achieve Tier 4 Mage status and assume a leadership role in this external training is Lucas Blade,” he declared, evoking familiar recognition and a round of applause from the audience.

”Next, the second commander is Beatrice Marionette,” Edward continued, causing a collective gasp among the mages.

Beatriceʼs rapid progression to the Tier 4 realm took many by surprise, overshadowing Alecʼs previous status as a prominent figure.

Alec, who had once been viewed as a formidable presence, found himself overshadowed by Beatriceʼs sudden rise, as the mages who had been comparing them together, now felt it was an insult to compare Alec to there goddess Beatrice.

Despite his efforts to dismiss the disparity, he couldnʼt help but feel despondent as Beatriceʼs achievement created an insurmountable gap between them.

Alec grappled with self-doubt, questioning what steps Beatrice had taken to advance so significantly, lamenting his own perceived shortcomings in comparison.

But how could he have known that while he was dashing into the Abyss to kill and trying to advance into the next realm, Beatrice had been visited several times by the elders of the Marionette clan from the capital.

As they had given out several cultivation resources, even though she didnʼt want anything to do with them.

However, her master Alfred made sure he made something out of the resources brought so that Beatrice could get the maximum value from them, after all he didnʼt give a fuck about her clan.

And with her talent, entry into the Tier 4 Mage Realm was not that hard – so Alec had been beaten by the cultivation resources of an ancient clan.
