THE GOD EATER

For now, he didn’t do anything to Slav. He only glanced at the boy before ignoring him. Then he left the awakening room with Muni.

On his way out, he used the Power Identification Ability on Slav to make sure that he didn’t miss anything. When he didn’t see anything out of place, he used the Power Identification Ability on himself to see how far he had come and see what was left for him to accomplish.

It has been about one week since he replaced some of his old pathways with more useful ones. In that time, his energy density has remained at level 16, but his talent has doubled, which is why his total internal energy has increased from 14,745,600 to 29,492,200 units.

In comparison, according to what he knows, rank 5 cultivators have an energy density of level 20 at the peak of rank 5 and a talent of 90 units, so their total internal energy is 47,185,920 units.

As for other rank 4 cultivators at the peak of rank 4 with an energy density of level 16 and a maximum talent of 90 units, their total internal energy is only 2,949,120.

So he possesses as much as five times as much internal energy as other rank 4 cultivators with peak talents, but only 62.5% of the total internal energy of peak rank 5 cultivators.

However, he is sure that no rank 5 cultivator will be able to match the rate at which he regenerates energy. This is because he has 900 energy threads serving five energy chambers at the same time.

So, aside from his normal regeneration of 100% of his total internal energy per hour, his energy threads also boost his regeneration by helping him to regenerate 4,500% of his total internal energy every hour. This makes it so that he regenerates an extra 1,327,149,000 units per hour or 368,652.5 units per second.

On the other hand, a rank 5 cultivator only has 90 threads and one energy chamber, so their energy threads can only boost their regeneration by 90% of their total internal energy per hour, which is 42,467,328 units per hour or 11,796.48 units per second.

Since the boost of his energy threads is 31.25 times greater than theirs, he is more qualified to use rank 5 Metacs than they are. The thought made him chuckle inwardly.

But despite this massive difference between his energy regeneration and the energy regeneration of rank 5 cultivators, this difference is not as significant as the difference between his power and that of rank 5 cultivators now that the boost that his energy threads can provide for his power output has doubled.

This thought made him say to himself, ’I guess Lady Red will be the first to find out.’

However, according to his plans, Lady Red won’t get the pleasure of sampling his strength until he has reached 400% energy manipulation skill. Since his energy manipulation skill is currently at 375%, it won’t take long for that moment to come.

In fact, the time it will take him to reach 400% energy manipulation skill will be far shorter than expected because of the doubling of his energy threads.

In the previous Heavenly Battlefield, he had gained a total of 40% increase in his energy manipulation skill. This was because of all of the fighting and the fact that he was always using a lot of Metacs in battle.

He usually used an average of 10 Metacs for every attack that he created, which was why he experienced a growth of 40% in his energy manipulation skill in just six days of fighting. This is already fast, but he is sure that his progress can become faster with double the talent.

As he was making his plans, he went along with Muni doing the normal things that he always did. He took loans, gambled, earned money, paid back loans, and gambled some more.

After registering to become a member of the sect and receiving his tokens, he paid off his awakening debt in order to become an inner sect disciple. This granted him access to the public trading platform, which he used to order some things that he needed.

Since the Branch Metacs he ordered would take some time to arrive, he went to the central market to get their rank 3 versions to use for now.

All of these could have been avoided by going to the heavenly city and buying everything he needed there at a lower price and in less time than it would take for his orders to be delivered. But he didn’t want to leave Crystal City for any reason.

He wanted to remain in Crystal City until he had restored his strength and dealt with everything that needed dealing with. So he didn’t go to the heavenly city.

As usual, his presence caused the usually calm city to become tumultuous. Every rank 4 cultivator in the city began to look around for him after they heard that someone had awakened and gained rank 4 cultivation immediately after awakening.

The rank 4 cultivators were looking for him to learn the secret of advancement to rank 5 from him. This time, he had what they wanted. But he still refused to meet them.

Since he hid himself so well, no one could find him. The rank 4 cultivators could only look around for him like headless chickens.
