The First Store System

Chapter 1629: The Mission Reward!

Aakesh didnʼt know how to respond to the two of them. He had never seen the two of them so angry with him.

He was about to use his usual tricks to coax them when they suddenly scoffed. The next moment, his room door appeared in the store, and the two walked inside.

Aakesh wanted to stop them as the two didnʼt have their training yet, but in the end, he could only sigh. He had expected such reactions from the two, but it still made him feel sad.

[Annihilation of Existence] was an arrow that was created to destroy the enemy from existence, as it happened for the 299. They even disappeared from timelines.

The user also had to bear high costs for using such a terrifying weapon in the Sacred dimension. If it were anyone other than Aakesh, they would have met the same fate as those 299 as well, including both Lily and Khaval.

And that was the reason the two were so upset with Aakesh. They knew the terrifying cost Aakesh would have to bear. He might look perfectly fine, but he wasnʼt. Inside his body, his organs were being dissolved and then regenerated.

It was an extremely painful process that would continue for years, but Aakesh, having unlimited endurance, could bear that and act as if nothing was wrong with him. If his endurance were to have numbered attributes, he would be in serious trouble and might not get up from bed for millions of years.

Did Aakesh regret using that weapon? No, he didnʼt. He needed to vent his rage at that moment, and only the complete annihilation of the enemies could quell that anger deep inside him.

As for the cost of using that, he could calmly bear that. At the same time, an enemy also appeared in his mind, whom he would kill at any cost, and it would be brutal.

Since Lily and Khaval had already left, Aakesh also decided to rest for that day. But before that, he summoned the system alerts that he had ignored previously because of his serious injuries.

The next moment, a couple of familiar emotionless alerts rang in the store, informing him of the completion of the quest and the rewards he would receive.

The reward for the quest were Increase of one sub-level, an upgrade of [Apocalyptic Blast], and one offensive and one defensive skill.

Aakesh simply stored the first one since he had already reached the peak of the Sacred dimension. If he were to increase his cultivation, he would immediately ascend.

He had only a few things left to do before ascending, so he decided to wait for some time.

The second reward was the upgrade of his favorite skill [Apocalyptic Blast]. Following that, a blue screen flashed before him, containing the details of the newly upgraded skill.

[Skill Name: Apocalyptic Blast,

Grade: Ordinary,

Ability: The owner can release an energy blast consisting of the elements of destruction, death, chaos, and nihility over a specific range, depending on the userʼs ability. It can vary in shape, size, duration, and damage.

Type of attack: Itʼs an AoD attack and also a single person-oriented attack,

Limitation: None,

Condition for upgrade: Completing the systemʼs quests.]

On the screen, nothing else had changed except for the grade of the skill. If others were to know that [Apocalyptic Blast] was only an inferior grade skill, they wouldnʼt know how to respond.

Even though the content on the skillʼs ability remained the same, Aakesh, who had mastered the upgraded skill, knew how big the difference between the two grades was.

If the earlier skill were to be used to cut a small plant, then the upgraded version of the skill could easily cut through a forest of trees.

Aakesh didnʼt wait, raised his palm, and immediately unleashed the upgraded skill.

The next moment, energy belonging to the four supreme elements began gathering on his palm. Since there was no lack of elemental energy in the store, the process was very quick. He first decided to use only one-tenth of his strength in this attack.

As the energy stopped gathering, a dark energy ball appeared and then began rotating on his palm. He then willed it to be in the form of a ray.

As if it had come out alive, it instantly followed the command and soon turned into a ray of dark, pitch-black light the size of a small needle.

He then released it, his target being the storeʼs indestructible floor.

It wasnʼt that the skill had grown powerful enough to destroy something like the floor, he just wanted to see the impact. It would remain indestructible, but it would still release a destructive force resulting in the collision of the skill with the floor.

Boom!

The next moment, a booming sound rang inside the store, causing Aakeshʼs clothes to flutter.

He nodded with contentment as even one-tenth power of the upgraded [Apocalyptic Blast] was severalfold more destructive than the full power attack of the inferior graded skill.

The mission was well worth it, even if the skill upgrade was the only reward. There were still rewards left as he would gain two new skills today, but before that, he wanted to see the destruction the full-strength attack would cause.

The next moment, a projection appeared before him of the entire Sacred dimension. It wasnʼt an actual projection but only a simulation.

He then used his full energy reserves and released a dark, pitch-black energy ball created from the four supreme elements. The energy ball had grown to ten times Aakeshʼs size.

Aakesh was injured, so he could only maintain that state for a few seconds; he immediately released the attack.

Following that, a blinding light emerged in the projection, and soon nothing remained. Everything was annihilated.

It wasnʼt the end as the projection reformed, and the dimension met the same fate. The process of reforging and destruction continued for an unknown number of times.

Even Aakesh stopped calculating how many times a full-strength [Apocalyptic Blast] could destroy the Sacred dimension over and over again.
