The First Store System

Chapter 1610: The Sixth Collective Quest!

”You need to pay three hundred supreme Sacred stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly informed.

Following Aakesh’s words, an autonomous alert rang inside Trion’s head. He immediately agreed to go through the transaction, and the next moment, the required amount disappeared from the store card. After that, another notification rang in his head, informing him of the remaining sum.

[Host, the sale of the cultivation art has been completed. Your five percent commission of the total sale has been transferred to you.]

[Ding!]

[Host, Congratulations on completing the fifth quest in the series ”Mission objective: Sell the Store Products” successfully!]

[The ”Mission reward: A New Product” will be given after the store’s closing!]

Following the successful payment, the system’s automatic alerts bombarded his head. Aakesh ignored it, focusing on what was ahead of him at that moment, and informed Trion of the things he needed to keep in mind.

Not long after, a new flurry of mechanical bombardments rang in his head, but he did the same and ignored them as there were quite a few customers in line, waiting for their turn.

It has been several days since beasts above the level of Supreme God became available in the store, and with it, there was also the bloodline evolution characteristic of the third pillar.

As Aakesh had expected, the product that was already extremely desirable became even more desirable after the characteristic addition.

There was a reason for that, as an increase in bloodline could improve the quality of the beasts. Many customers had beasts that had stopped growing in cultivation as their quality reached the lowest level.

But with the help of the bloodline increment, the quality can be improved, and so beasts could grow further and keep providing help to their owner.

There have been a few Sacred Creator level customers who had come to purchase a beast of their level, but none had been able to succeed in taming a creature of that level.

Winning the taming battle didn’t mean that they would succeed in getting a contract with the beast, but at least, winning that battle increased the chances of getting the contract. Beast and the cultivators would meet for the first time in the taming fight, so there was no topic of them being familiar with each other’s characters and personalities.

Unfortunately, neither of the Sacred Creators had been able to win the taming battle. And also, no beast had been impressed by any cultivator to accept the contract after the latter lost to them.

After Trion left, another customer replaced him, wanting to complete the sale of an ultimate quality True God level beast.

Time flew by and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

When the store was only two hours away from closing, Aakesh finally got some free time to check the alerts.

Immediately after, a flurry of mechanical alerts rang in his head.

[Ding!]

[Host, the store has fulfilled the requirement of activating the sixth collective quest.]

[Host, please see the screen in front of you for the quest.]

A blank blue screen popped before him, and then letters in golden began to appear on it.

Aakesh focused on the screen and read the details written on it. The requirement for every product sale had grown by one thousand times, while the deadline saw a tenfold growth, following the same pattern as other products’ quests.

Aakesh immediately moved his eyes down to the reward section, and couldn’t help but become surprised. He had expected there to be product upgrades as the reward, but he didn’t expect it to be all the products.

Since the fifth collective quest had been completed, the store would have a new product from now on, making a total of seven products available for sale.

After he would complete the seventh collective quest, all seven products would get upgraded, making it equivalent to the rewards of a couple of missions since the system usually awarded one or two upgrades.

He only took a glance at the failure section and waved his hands. Failure was never an option for any quest, so the punishment didn’t matter.

The next moment, the screen began to fade and disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to summon it back when needed.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Not long after the screen disappeared, Aakesh heard the sound of footsteps approaching him. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw a regular customer approaching him holding a card in his hand.

The man looked extremely excited. Aakesh knew his name as he did for every customer of the store. The man was Jayan, and he was a native to Thorr City. The man had been saving for tens of years to purchase a skill he once saw.

The skill wasn’t of high quality to warrant a sale from the store owner, but since Jayan had finally achieved his goal, he wanted the sale to be completed by Aakesh.

There were many customers like Jayan, and Aakesh didn’t mind them at all. For the store, even the sale of a single inferior Sacred stone was equal to selling trillions of ultimate Sacred stones. For the system, everyone was equal, while for Aakesh, everyone was inferior to him, so equal in a sense for him also.
