The First Store System

Chapter 1181: First Day after the Sixth Product(8)

Tap! Tap! Tap!

While Marcy was waiting for her turn in the beast room, Aakesh was relaxing in his chair. The next moment, he was woken up by the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store.

He turned in that direction and found a new face entering the store. It was a female belonging to the Niggesti, a race in the Demon Group.

Cyan was the daughter of the traitor of the Niggesti. The Niggesti were a race that lived in close-knit societies, and incest was extremely common there. In fact, the majority of the children were born to siblings.

Cyanʼs father became a traitor to the race by marrying his daughter, making Cyanʼs mother her sibling as well as her mother. That was forbidden, so Cyanʼs father and mother were executed publicly, and since Cyan was only a child, she was allowed to live.

Living without parents and the stigma of having traitorous parents were too much for Cyan to handle, so she attempted to run away. But unfortunately for her, she found that whatever life she lived with other Niggestis was several times better than what she had to endure after running away, so she returned to the race.

After that event, Cyan became indifferent to the taunts and mocking of other Niggestis and worked hard on herself. Her efforts werenʼt without results, as she won seven millennia contests in a row, matching the second-highest number of consecutive wins. One more victory, and she would be in the top spot. But it was easier said than done since the ruler of the race was personally going to intervene in the rules of the contest.

The greater the streak of victories, the greater the desire to defeat the contestant by other participants. Since one more win would place Cyan in the same spot as the legendary ruler of the race, no one wanted a traitorʼs daughter to claim that place.

Cyan was around three hundred thousand years old and had reached peak Supreme God cultivation in all that time. In the past three hundred thousand years, Cyan had made only one friend, and even that friend was from outside the race.

Since Cyan wanted to win the millennium contest and take her streak to eight, she was thinking of ways to defeat whatever came her way, so she also asked for help from her friend, and from that friend, she came to know about the store.

”Hello, store owner!” Cyan greeted Aakesh respectfully.

Niggesti wasnʼt a good looking race due to their incestual tendencies, and in that group, Cyanʼs appearance was way below average.

Her skin was deep gray, like other Niggesti. Her eyes were a combination of gray sclera and black pupils. She was neither tall nor slender. Her facial positions were slightly different, making her look hideous compared to other Niggesti, let alone other races.

Cyan was ready to see the disgust in the eyes of the store owner since she had gotten used to it from everyone, but when Aakesh looked at her, she saw nothing.

It might be bad for others, but for Cyan, who had seen the people looking at her with disgust, the indifference was a big upgrade, so her tone had turned even more respectful when she asked about the store products.

Cyan had already learned about it from her friend, but she found that there was an additional room, so she asked for a complete introduction.

”The store currently sells six products…

” For the pills, the store only has pills up to King grade, and every grade has thirty pills of different functions…

…

”... These are the current store products available in the store,” Aakesh concluded the introduction of all six store products in a single breath.

Cyan nodded after the introduction was over. Before coming here, she found that the training area was the best option for her to grow stronger. After coming to the store, she found that she could also buy skills, increasing her arsenal of attacks and defenses for the competition.

”Store owner, tell me more about the skills,” Cyan requested Aakesh.

Aakesh then answered whatever doubts Cyan had about the product, and when she was satisfied, she thanked Aakesh.

After thanking Aakesh, Cyan left the line and proceeded toward the skill room. When she entered the room, she found countless murals painted across the wall, depicting different skills.

Cyan was an Earth and Metal user, so after learning that she could only buy one skill from one level, she decided to go for the Metal element for attacking skills and the Earth element for defensive skills. As for other types, Cyan decided against that since having a great number of skills could harm her instead of benefiting her.

Cyan was a peak Supreme God cultivator, and as luck would have it, the store had skills up to the Supreme God level, so she went to the last counter.

She decided to start by finding an attacking skill first. Since the higher the level of skill, the longer it would take for the user to completely learn it, Cyan decided to go for a lower-level attacking skill.

The next moment, she reached into the Master level shelf in the bottom row. When she took her hands out, there was a card in her hand.

The upper fourth of the card contained the scenery of the skill, while the lower three-fourths contained the details. Cyan first focused on the details since she wasnʼt one for flashy skills.

[Name: Seraphic Iron Tempest

Type: Attack

Level: Master

Cultivation Level: Early to peak Supreme God

Effect: Unleashes a devastating storm of Seraphic metal projectiles

Description: The user harnesses the immense power of the metal element, invoking a cataclysmic tempest of seraphic metal projectiles. With a mere thought, the air around them transforms into a raging vortex of gleaming metallic shards imbued with the destructive force of a Seraphic forge. The storm of projectiles engulfs a vast area, encompassing a radius of one kilometer. The seraphic metal shards rain down upon the targeted area, obliterating everything in their path.

Price: Two hundred supreme Sacred stones.]

Cyan nodded in surprise since she didnʼt expect herself to get a powerful skill right on her first attempt.

Seraphic metals were a powerful form of metal element known for their sharpness and armor-piercing abilities. It wasnʼt the most powerful sub-element, but its destructive strength could be in the top five of all metal sub-elements.

Since Cyan was happy with the attacking skill she had gotten, she decided to continue her luck and give it a try for defensive skill immediately.

The next moment, she reached into the second row from the bottom. Her direction was the master shelf, and when she took her hand out, it held a card.

[Name: Terra Divine Barrier

Type: Defense

Level: Master

Cultivation Level: Early to peak Supreme God

Effect: Impenetrable barrier of earth and energy

Description: The cultivator harnesses the profound essence of the earth element, manifesting an impregnable shield known as the Terra Divine Barrier. This defensive skill combines the solidity of the earth with the mastery of energy manipulation, creating an unparalleled defense against all three physical, magical, and spiritual attacks. The Terra Divine Barrier envelops the cultivator and their surroundings within a colossal dome of reinforced earth and energy. This barrier extends up to a radius of fifty meters, forming an impenetrable shield.

Price: Seven hundred supreme Sacred stones.]

This time, Cyan didnʼt receive a skill right away, but she had to return and take out the card several times. But finally, on her tenth attempt, she got the skill she liked immediately.

Its price was steep, but seeing its ability made Cyan determined to buy it. She then looked at the semi-pillar placed at the end of the room. There was a long line of several people, but it was quick.

Cyan didnʼt immediately walk in that direction but stopped to think. Experiencing the skill required one percent of the total cost of the skill.

Cyan then took a deep breath and decided to give it a try. Since she was already spending nine hundred supreme Sacred stones, she could accept spending nine stones more.

After a few seconds, Cyan got her turn. More than one card can be experienced at one time, but Cyan wanted to do it solo, so she only placed the [Seraphic Metal Tempest] on the compartment and held the other one in his hand.

The next moment, Cyan found herself in an unfamiliar environment, surrounded by a large army of bloodthirsty creatures. Cyan couldnʼt help but shudder in fear as she saw their expressions and the bloodlust in the environment.

The next moment, her body acted on its own and raised her hands toward the sky. She began to channel the metal element, and a tempest began to form around her. It spread like crazy and engulfed an area of one kilometer in no time. The next moment, a scene Cyan couldnʼt even imagine played out as the creatures were mangled to their deaths instantly in the mighty storm of seraphic metal.
