The First Store System

Chapter 1168: The Sixth Product(22)

After returning the card, Aakesh turned around and left the room. The time to get the sixth product had finally arrived.

Lilyʼs boring expression disappeared since the summoning of the product was the most fun thing to do in the store. Khaval similarly requested since it would be the first new product summoning in front of him.

”Letʼs see what the sixth product will be!” Aakesh exclaimed in excitement and called for the giant roulette for the summoning.

The system agreed, and the next moment, a gigantic roulette that had no ends appeared in front of him.

From the beastʼs summoning, Aakesh could understand that his fortunes werenʼt great. But still, he didnʼt worry since he wasnʼt going to be the one to start the roulette.

”Do you want to do it?” Aakesh gently picked up Khaval, brought him in front of him, and asked.

When Khaval heard Aakesh, his eyes started glowing like stars while he started to nod like a pecking chicken.

When Lily saw Aakesh asking Khaval, she felt jealous for a moment, but she soon calmed down since she had done it before, and there was no point in feeling jealous when it was her brother on the other side. And also, Lily was confident that Aakesh loved her more than Khaval, so the topic of jealousy disappeared.

Aakesh smiled when he saw that Lily didnʼt comment on him choosing Khaval over her. He gently patted her head with his other hand.

Lily squinted her eyes in pleasure, liking what Aakesh was doing.

They then focused on the giant roulette in front of them. It had numerous products written on it as usual. Aakesh found the roulette to be all-encompassing and couldnʼt see the entire wheel at once.

There were several blocks of different colors, each representing a different product. Several blocks even had a question mark on them. Aakesh also saw one with nine question marks, which was a first for him. Aakesh remembered that the last time, there was a block with seven question marks.

Since only the system knew what was behind the question marks and wouldnʼt tell him what it was, Aakesh stopped thinking about it.

Since the higher the question marks, the more dangerous and valuable the product would be for the store, Aakesh hoped to get it as his reward.

[Host, roll the roulette whenever you are ready!]

The systemʼs familiar voice rang in Aakeshʼs head. Aakesh nodded and told Khaval to speak about rotating the roulette when he feels.

”Rotate!” Khaval commented after taking a deep breath. Even though Khaval was only a child who wasnʼt even ten years old, his emotional maturity was high, so he understood what a new product meant for the store.

The next moment, the giant roulette started spinning with unimaginable speed. At one point, Aakesh and others felt dizzy while looking at the wheel. But as time passed, the spinning rate began to decrease. After a few seconds, the roulette came to a complete stop, with its hand pointing at a block featuring the product.

The next moment, light particles began to move away from the roulette. The particles didnʼt disappear into their surroundings, but they began to gather to form a square box the size of a tennis ball.

A few seconds later, a box made of elements appeared in the store and fell into Aakeshʼs hands. The box alone was worth more than half the Sacred Dimension.

Click!

With a clicking sound, the box opened after Aakesh transferred his aura. The next thing he knew, he was staring at a beautiful key that couldnʼt look any better.

It was like a needle but with some patterns engraved on it. Aakesh gently took the key out of the box, and the next moment, the multi-colored box in his hands melted into the surroundings.

Aakesh focused on the patterns engraved on the key, and they were the pattern of a fireball exploding and embers released from it falling on people on the ground. It was the same pattern as what the selected block had.

It wasnʼt a question mark product, so Aakesh wasnʼt in doubt and needed to wait to open the door. The sixth product Aakesh got for the store were skills.

When Khaval saw that it wasnʼt a question mark product, its eyes slightly dimmed. Aakesh noticed it, so he patted Khavalʼs flat, shiny head. Lily also noticed it, so she jumped from Aakeshʼs head to his hands and hugged Khaval.

Aakesh smiled upon seeing the two acting like this, and he returned his focus to the key.

Aakesh then sensed a slight movement in the store, so he turned around and found a newly unlocked room waiting there for him to open. It found its position next to the beast room.

At the same time, the space inside the store had also expanded. It wasnʼt increment on the similar lines of the rooms, but earlier, the store could handle two hundred thousand people in the hall, but after the increase, it could hold more than five hundred thousand people without feeling overcrowded, and seven thousand people if filled to the brim.

The last time, the key was too heavy for Aakesh to maintain his hold, and the system had to act, but the scene didnʼt repeat this time. He felt no weight at all from the key.

”Donʼt worry, the product unlocked is a great and much-needed product. It will immensely help the store and me,” Aakesh told Khaval since he didnʼt want to open the door to the new room when Khaval was upset.

Aakesh and Lily then talked more. Lily also shared her experience of getting the cultivation art. It was similarly a no-question-mark product, but the popularity it brought to the store exceeded even Aakeshʼs expectations.

After a talk of a few minutes, Khaval stopped sulking about not getting a question mark product and disappointing Aakesh. Hearing stories from Lily and Aakesh gave him a feeling of optimism, so a hint of excitement spread across his face.

Since things were solved, Aakesh proceeded toward the unlocked room. As Aakesh approached closer, the key in his hands began to budge, and the patterns engraved on it started glowing. In response to it, the locked door also made the sound of getting pulled as if it wanted to touch the key.
