Chapter 1179: First Day after the Sixth Product(6)

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the store. It hadnʼt even been a minute since Aakesh started his first of many relaxation sessions.

Since Aakesh could never grow tired, it didnʼt matter to him. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction, his eyes falling on a new face coming toward the store.

Farhan belonged to the race Rotten Demon, a top group in the Demon group of races. The race had the rotten in their name due to the rotting attribute of the race.

Farhan looked like other Rotten Demons. He had a humanoid build with a height of around six feet, which was small compared to other demon races. But since strength wasnʼt the primary attribute of the group, they had smaller builds. He had pale skin and two pairs of hands. There was not a shred of hair on any body part. Farhan hadnʼt worn anything as well, so his privates were revealed in public.

It had to do with the rotten attributes of the race. Anything the members of the race touched was vaporized. So, no one in the race wore any clothes, even if they could control rotting.

The rotting attribute of the race also worked on their mindset, making Rotten Demons one of the evilest races in the Demon group. Farhan bested even many members of his race when it came to evil deeds.

His purpose for coming here was to snatch the store from the store owner. Farhan was a mercenary, and he had received a mission from a powerful man to snatch the store.

Before coming here, Farhan had researched the store and the store owner, so he knew things were extremely difficult and life-threatening. But Farhan didnʼt fear any of it since he had an item that stored a piece of his soul that had nothing to do with him. Even if he died here, he would still survive. It was just that he needed to start again.

The price to pay was extremely high, but the man behind the mission had also offered a large sum. If Farhan succeeded, he would receive the full sum, and even if he failed, he would still get 80% of the sum.

Farhan stepped forward, thinking of ways to increase the chances of his mission. When Farhan reached the door, all his senses started to tingle, warning him against attempting the mission.

Despite all the preparation he had made, Farhan thought of giving up for a moment. But suddenly, something seemed to explode in his mind, making him feel calm, and all the fear of the store disappeared.

Farhan then stepped inside the store, the view in front of him changing to the storeʼs hall. His eyes fell on the blue-skinned man, his target for the mission.

The fear oozing from his intuition overwhelmed him once again, but the phenomenon repeated itself, and all the fear vanished as if everything were a figment of his imagination.

Farhan thanked the man in his heart. If not for that man, he would have given up on the mission immediately after that terrifying feeling.

Aakesh immediately noticed there was something wrong with the manʼs intention. Aakesh asked about the cultivation of the man and found that it was the peak of the Sacred King.

Aakesh could do nothing to anyone with such a cultivation level. But he was inside the store, and there, even the Sacred Creator level cultivators had to tread cautiously, let alone a peak Sacred King.

Aakesh didnʼt worry about himself or the store and looked at the man, waiting to know what was the man going to do.

Farhan proceeded forward, the item given by the man, fighting the fear of whatever was inside the store. He finally reached the man and greeted him, extending his hands for a handshake.

Aakesh only looked at the hand and didnʼt return the gesture. Farhan frowned, getting rejected by Aakesh, but since he was here for a mission, he suddenly bent forward and his hand charged, aiming to grab Aakeshʼs throat.

Katrina and Autumn, relaxing on the next chair, woke up and looked in shock at the scene playing out in front of them.

Farhan could see his hands reach the blue-skinned manʼs throat, and then he imagined him crushing the throat and completing the mission. Katrina immediately charged to defend Aakesh, but the next moment, a miraculous scene played out.

Farhanʼs hands began to disintegrate at a rapid rate, and soon he was left with no hands. If it were not for Aakes telling the system to let the man survive, he would have already been dead.

Aakeshʼs indifferent expression changed into a cold one as he stood from his chair. He then went to the man and grabbed him by the throat.

Farnham tried to free himself or even use the rotting attribute to turn Aakesh into ashes, but he found that nothing of the sort happened. At that moment, Farhan had no power. Even an ordinary creature would be able to kill him.

But what terrified Farhan even more were the cold eyes of the blue-skinned man. Farhan felt he was a brutal guy, but now that he looked at those pair of black eyes, he found himself to be laughable.

ʼI still have that option left.ʼ Farhan breathed a sigh of relief, remembering that his survival wasnʼt at stake here.

”Oh, you still believe that thing would help you survive!”

The next moment, Farhanʼs face was drained of all his blood when he heard the blue-skinned man.

At that moment, the item left by the man also stopped working, making all the fear erupt at once.

ARGH!

Farhan screamed as the fear engulfed his heart, but only his mouth moved, and no voice came out of it.

The next moment, Farhan turned silent as he found his soul getting sucked in by the pair of cold eyes.

Aakesh threw the man away, and even before his body could touch the ground, it disintegrated into nothingness.

Farhan wasnʼt dead, but his soul was still alive. But if he had a choice, he would have chosen to die since he was going through agony in a different place with no hope left.
