The First Store System

Chapter 1170: Another Costly Product?

After Aakeshʼs consciousness returned to the store, the screen on the semi-pillar lit up, and content started to appear on it.

[Skill- Healing Touch

Level: God

Cultivator: peak Divine Transformation

Compatibility: 100%

Training Time: Instant.]

The screen detailed Aakeshʼs compatibility with the skill and how long it would take him to perfectly learn it.

The skills sold by the store were different from other products. It didnʼt have an instant effect, and it required talent. Compatibility was the measure of talent. The higher the compatibility, the shorter the time for perfectly learning the skill.

”Hey, system, has my stats got to do with the benefits of being a store owner of it have everything to do with me?” Aakesh suddenly asked the system as the question erupted in his head when he saw perfect compatibility and instant training.

[Host, the skills learning time and compatibility have to do with you not your title!]

Aakesh nodded since he had learned from the system that his physique was compatible with every element in existence, making him stronger than many. The system didnʼt inform Aakesh what physique he belonged to; neither was it the Master Element Physique, a physique that was compatible with all elements, and only one Deva had it since the birth of the Multiverse on top of the Limitless Physique.

That Deva was none other than the Lord of the Multiverse, the only Deva with direct contact with the consciousness of the Multiverse.

Aakesh nodded after listening to the systemʼs response. He heard what he had expected, so he no longer asked any questions and focused on the screen.

Since things were perfectly normal, he took the card out of the compartment, walked back to the counter, and returned the card.

Aakesh then took out another card and repeated the process. The result was the same, but Aakesh noticed that the price was high for the higher-level skill cards.

The Healing Touch cost four hundred ordinary Sacred stones when it was only for the Divine Transformation level, and it was more than the price of many Lesser grade cultivation arts.

Aakesh didnʼt want to receive another product like the Cultivation Arts that was valuable and in demand, but due to their prices, they werenʼt getting sold as much as he would have liked.

After Aakesh checked the lower level of cards, he stopped thinking like that. Only King, Emperor. and God level cards were exponentially expensive, while those below them were affordable.

The majority of the citizens of Thorr City could buy Novice level cards. After experiencing God level cards, the effect of Novice level skills was like the difference between shooting from a rifle and a water gun.

The novice level Healing Touch could neither help regenerate nor treat illnesses. It could only alleviate the pain. As for multiple healing, only the skill above King level had that ability.

Since there was nothing more to see, Aakesh turned around and left the room with Khaval and Lily on his head.

After the opening of the skill room, there were six products available in the store. To activate the third collective quest, the store had to complete four of the five active product quests.

To activate the fourth collective quest, the store needed to complete two more product quests, fulfilling the requirement of five of six product quests.

Since there was nothing left for Aakesh to check in the store, Aakesh decided to start the training.

”Letʼs go!”

Aakesh commented, and the next moment, a white light covered the three of them. The light disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, and with it, Aakesh had also vanished.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself in the selection area, and Lily and Khaval jumped down from their head to the ground.

Lily had the Epochal Felines to train with, and similarly, Khaval had the Chaos Whales to train with. Khavalʼs point of view toward training was different than Lilyʼs and somewhat matched Aakeshʼs, so he liked to enter the training area.

Lily didnʼt like training, but since the situation several years ago, she stopped cribbing about training and would go sincerely there.

After Lily and Khaval had left for their usual training area, Aakesh deactivated all his senses except direction and went toward the weapon section.

Aakesh got his random weapon for the day, went to the switch, chose the training environment, and pressed the switch.

The next moment, the space started to crack around him, soon taking the form of a portal. Not long after, a suction force stronger than anything Aakesh could handle erupted from it and sucked him inside.

Aakeshʼs senses activated on their own as Aakesh found himself in the familiar arena, where he had been training for several years now. Aakesh looked at his hand and found his favorite weapon, a bow for todayʼs battle.

The last time Aakesh fought with the bow, he had won around 200 rounds. Aakesh wanted to see how much he would win this time or if it would be a similar result.

Aakesh then reflexively tapped on the blue screen, choosing to start the battle from the first round.

The following moment, a blue light covered the arena, and it disappeared soon after.

Roar!

An angry roar rang on the battlefield as Aakeshʼs opponent appeared. It was a chimera creature that looked to be a mixture of several demon races. The creature had a humanoid physique and towered over Aakesh. It had seven pairs of hands, and each hand had a Warhammer. Its skin was dark blue, slightly lighter than Aakesh, while it had two pairs of fearsome red eyes.

Ding!

The familiar sound of the bell rang, announcing the start of the battle.

Aakesh aimed his bow at the creatureʼs head. He grabbed the bow with his right hand and the string with his left hand. He then began to pull the string back. Aakesh stopped soon after; the distance between the bow and string wasnʼt even the size of the smallest finger.

BOOM!

Aakesh still released the bowstring, and the next moment, a loud sound erupted on the scene. Waves could be seen materializing into reality as they charged toward the chimera creature.

The chimera creature didnʼt even see the attack coming, as in its sight, it saw Aakesh with his bow still in his right hand.

The next moment, the sound wave hit the creature, and in no time, not even its ashes remained as it was disintegrated from reality itself.

The next moment, the familiar blue light appeared, and not long after, the small screen popped out once again.

Aakeshʼs hands reflexively worked since he had been training here for several centuries now if considered the time when he was in the Primal Dimension.

The opponent returned perfectly fine after Aakesh started the second round. It had a dumbfounded reaction, as it didnʼt even see how it died. But soon, it roared toward Aakesh, provoking him.

Ding!

The bell rang, announcing the start of the second battle.

The next moment, a familiar scene repeated itself as the chimera creature immediately disintegrated from reality itself.

Time flew by, and the battle between the two continued.

As Aakesh was growing stronger, the number of battles he could win was also increasing. But that didnʼt mean that Aakesh was staying in the training area longer than usual.

As his strength was growing, the winning battle durations were also dropping exponentially.

Ding!

The familiar sound of the bell rang, announcing the start of the one hundred fifteenth battle against the chimera creature.

Roar!

The creature roared and charged toward Aakesh, with all fourteen of its war hammers coming down on Aakesh.

Aakeshʼs expression was calm as he aimed his bow toward the opponent. He stretched the string using his left hand and kept at it, only stopping when it touched his ear.

At the same time, an outline of an arrow started to emerge, beginning from its tail. In no time, an entire arrow appeared nocked on the bow.

The arrow couldnʼt look any more ordinary as Aakesh released the bowstring.

Whoosh!

The next moment, the arrow left the bow and flew toward the creature, tearing through the air.

It was the first time of the day that Aakesh released an arrow to kill other than through the sound and force of the release of the string.

The chimera creature only saw something approaching it, but soon after, it froze in the air.

Thud!

The next moment, the creature crashed to the ground, making a loud sound, while a large hole could be seen in its chest from behind.

A blue light erupted around the arena, engulfing everything in its path. Not long after, the familiar screen popped out in front of Aakesh, asking whether he wanted to proceed linearly to the next level, go back to previous levels, or go to any level between 117 and 203.

Aakesh chose to go to the 116th round linearly, and soon the arena returned to its perfect condition, with the chimera creature also coming back to life with no sign of injuries.
